BRIEF TITLE

Café Branding

The Brief

Background

Based on the Mutton Quad ISTD brief. Design the brand identity for a typographically themed café and apply to products, general promotional material and interior graphics.

Using aspects of typography to create something that only designers will appreciate.

“While this may inform and enable us to be more innovative in our cooking there is still something appealing about going to a restaurant. It may be a business lunch, dinner for a special occasion or lunch with the family, but one factor is always a consideration – the type of restaurant offers the appropriate environment, food and drinks that will make the occasion successful.”

Considerations

Mandatory Requirements

Colour – What does it/can it say? How can you still keep the interest of the general public, without aiming completely at the designer? How will it be continued through to web? How can it be adapted through to the interior/exterior? Promotion possibilities?

Typographically driven. Logo, menus, mugs, signage, wall designs, website. Both screen and print based – explore a range of formats
