Girls Polls Presason Coaches 1. CCHS 2. Rhea County 3. White Coun ty 4. Warren County T5. Cookeville T5. SMHS
On an October Monday in Cookeville, the District 6AAA Media day was held with both the coaches and media voting to see who would win the regular season championships for both the girls and boys. With the district tournament now under way at Cumberland County High School, lets look to see how the preseason polls compare to the
2014-’15 final regular season T1. CCHS T1. White County 3. Cookeville 4. Rhea County 5. Warren County 6. SMHS
final standings after the regular season ended Feb. 6. White County and Cumberland County share the girls' regular season championship with 9-1 records, after the Lady Jets defeated the Warriorettes on the final night of the regular season. Cookeville (5-5) is third, followed by Rhea County (4-6), Warren County (3-7) and Stone Memorial (0-10). Cumberland County won the coin for the top seed in the district tournament. Both the media and coaches voted CCHS to win the championship outright; however, there was a slight difference in the polls for the rest of the league. In the media poll, White County and Rhea County tied for second place, followed by Cookeville, Warren County and SMHS.
