#ArtHamptons

Welcome to the 8th Edition of ArtHamptons Kick back, relax, and discover the finest in international contemporary art. We are delighted to present the East End of Long Island with an even more elegant and boutique edition in 2015–now behind the hedges, if you will. Our lineup of 70 top-tier galleries hail from an amazing 14 countries. In fact, the average gallery has traveled an impressive 2,700 miles to come here to meet you. It is truly an international fair for a cosmopolitan audience. Always philanthropic, this year, Opening Night benefits both Guild Hall and the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation. I want to thank Maria and Kenneth Fishel their generosity in the usage of their wonderful grounds. ArtHamptons is also donating the usage of this tent structure for the Samuel Waxman Cancer Research Foundation’s major event, A Hamptons Happening, right here, next Saturday, July11. This Friday afternoon, our unique and “tasteful’ fundraiser, Brunch with Jackson Pollock, benefits the Pollock-Krasner House and Study Center. Our Friday night ”Meet the Artists” reception, benefits the Southampton Cultural Center.

Thomas J. Gramegna, Gallery Director; Alysha Bartunek, Gallery Associate; Felipe Allegro, Gallery Associate While over 100 galleries actively sell photography in New York City, Gallery 270 succeeds by catering to both experienced and novice collectors seeking two increasingly rare qualities in the field...value and the unique handmade photograph. We place particular emphasis on distinguished photographers of the 20th Century and emerging photographers of the 21st Century. Employing traditional processes like toned silver gelatin and platinum/palladium where the artist’s hand is much more intimately engaged in the pursuit of results and beauty achievable in no other way. Gallery 270’s raison d’être is to call out and distinguish this special genre of photographic alchemists who are both modern artists and 21st century “old world craftsmen”

Bert van Zetten, Marcel and Jutta Huisman founded Villa del Arte Galleries in Barcelona in 1999. Their combined commitment, and passion for art, together with a unique approach and willingness to exhibit some lesser-known artists has contributed to an ever-changing contemporary collection of a consistently high standard. Over time Villa del Arte has developed into one of Catalonia’s leading contemporary art galleries. The gallery represents over 30 national and international, established and emerging painters, photographers and sculptors. In addition, we recently opened a new gallery in Amsterdam which has enabled us to hold collective and solo exhibitions as well as providing Villa del Arte with greater capabilities to showcase new talent. With this new space our international presence in the art scene has grown noticeably providing new opportunities and projects that we are already working on. Artists Represented: Fernando Adam, Francisca Ahlers, Fernando Alday, Martí Bofarull, Jacqueline Bozon, Lluís Cera, David Datuna, Chelsea Davine, Jordi Díez, Peter Hiemstra, Eline de Jonge, Edo Kaaij, Victoria Kovalenchikova, Liechennay, Christiaan Lieverse, Anja Luithle, Jaume Malaret, Noemí Martí, Serge Mendjisky, Ara Mikaelian, Gino Miles, Claudio Napolitano, Françoise Nielly, Julio Nieto, Joan Peris, Josep Plandiura, Gavin Rain, Jean-François Rauzier, Willy Rojas, Ekaterina Smirnova, Tomàs Sunyol, Michael James Talbot, Antonio Tamburro, Johan Thunell, Pancho Tolchinsky, Lukas Ulmi, Montse Valdés and Stephen Zirwes.
