This is us... …a happily “mixed” family whose everyday life is made up of Italian, Swedish and Finnish customs and food culture. We’ve never had time, or even want, to seek perfection – we laugh at mistakes and go with the flow, especially in the kitchen! For us, family and good food have always been the foundation of a happy life. Cooking at home is so much fun and a lot easier than people often think. Choose a main colour to keep as the center around your dinner dishes and add neutral colors around it to make it stand out.

Cut the manchego cheese in slices and crumble your blue cheese. Set one or two pieces of each cheese in a small bowl. Add a spoonful of jam with a couple of rye crackers.
Play with materials like glass, ceramic and wood, to create a relaxed feeling.

AMARETTO SOUR 5 cl amaretto liquer 25 cl lemon juice 10 ml sugar syrup 1 egg white
Add all ingredients in a shaker with ice. Shake so the egg white is fully incorporated. Pour into a glass through a sieve over ice and garnish with a slice of lemon.
The magic of drinking is bringing people together to enjoy a glass (or two). Salute!

SPAGHETTI AND MEAT BALLS IN TOMATO SAUCE serves 6-8
600 g minced meat 1 dl breadcrumbs 1 tbsp dried parsley 1 dl grated parmesan cheese 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 garlic clove 1 egg SAUCE: 1/2 onion 2 garlic cloves 1 tbsp olive oil 2 cans of tomato sauce 2 tsp salt 1 tsp sugar 2 bay leaves 5 basil leaves 1 tsp blackpepper 1 tsp nutmeg 1 tsp cinnamon
Mix together all the ingredients of the meatballs. Shape into small balls. Add some oil on a frying pan and heat up. Cook the meatballs until a golden crust forms. Sauté the onion and garlic on a separate frying pan with higher edges. Add the tomato sauce, spices and herbs and let cook on low heat for a while. Add the meatballs into the sauce and let simmer for 30 minutes. Bring the pasta water to a boil. Add a generous amount of salt (1 tsp/1 L of water) once boiling. Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions in the packet. Once al dente, lift the pasta into the sauce and enjoy!
You can eat pasta everyday as long as you only eat lasagna on Sundays.

Food memories are some of the strongest we have. They weave a tale of nostalgia, togetherness and are tied to time and place.
PIKE PERCH 1 pike perch fish 1 dl olive oil 1 tbsp of salt 2-4 lemons Rosemary 3-4 dl of redcurrants (preferably attached to the vine for presentation purposes)
Preheat oven to 210 °C. Prepare the fish by trimming the fins, scaling the fish, as well as gutting. Place the fish over some tin foil and drizzle with olive oil as well as thinly sliced garlic all around the fish. Sprinkle with salt. Slice the lemons into thin slices and place them all on top of the fish as well as some rosemary twigs. Let the fish cook in the oven from 25 to 40 minutes depending on the size of the fish. Once the fish is fully cooked, place it on a steel tray and place the lemon slices on the sides as well as on top. To finish it off add some redcurrant and rosemary twigs all around the sides of the fish. Serve with some fresh bread and enjoy!

LINGONBERRY CRUMBLE WITH CARDAMOM WHIPPED CREAM Lingonberries 0,5 dl lemon juice 3 dl flour 1 3/4 dl sugar 250 g cold butter WHIPPED CREAM 2 dl cream 1 1/2 tsp sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla sugar 2 tsp cardamom
Mix the lemon juice and sugar 3/4 of the sugar with the lingonberries. Put in an oven form. We used individual ceramic cups for everyone! Make the crumble in another bowl. Pick the flour, rest of the sugar and butter until a crumble forms. Add on top of the lingonberries. Bake in the oven at 175 °C for about 40 minutes or until the top has a beautiful golden brown colour. Serve warm with whipped cardamom cream. WHIPPED CREAM: Mix all ingredients in a standmixer until the cream is fluffy. Add cardamom to taste.
