NEIGHBOURHOOD POLICING TEAM

Your local neighbourhood team want to know what issues affect our local communities. Through Lancashire Talking you can tell us what it’s like to live in your area and what issues matter most to you. It is also an opportunity for you to raise any concerns you may have. The feedback received via Lancashire Talking enables our neighbourhood policing teams and partner agencies to act on the information and prioritise our neighbourhood policing activity. When it comes to crime prevention and safety, why rely on second hand information? Stay In The Know and find out what’s really happening in your area by receiving regular updates, learn about what your local neighbourhood policing team is doing to keep your area safe and receive updates from partner organisations, such as Lancashire Fire and Rescue. You can choose who you receive alerts from. You can choose to receive email, voicemail or text messages. Members registered to receive only text messages will still receive important information, but not all messages/ warnings circulated on the system will be circulated via text message. Your personal details will be securely held under the provisions of the Data Protection Act 2018 and will never be shared with commercial organisations. You can unsubscribe at any time.

J. R. & D SILLIS BLINDS

Notice of Retirement

On July 1st I shall be 82 years of age with nearly 50 years in the window blinds business. I think it’s time to retire! The business is due to cease trading at the end of June 2021, however negotiations are currently taking place that may enable it to carry on under new management. Jean, who has worked with me since 1987 is also looking forward to retiring. She has been a real stalwart, part of the fi xtures and fi ttings. She is not only good at making blinds, but has been a good ambassador, always cheerful and helpful on the phone. I would like to thank all of my customers who have dealt with me over the many years. It’s been a real pleasure meeting so many intersting people and enjoying so many thousands of cups of teas etc!

Thanks again.

Jack Sillis
