Centre staff working alongside our wonderful team of volunteer marshals who have been real vaccine heroes. This month we would like to highlight some of those heroes: All our volunteer marshals have been truly inspirational, but we have a core group of volunteers who have been ever present at Over Wyre Medical Centre throughout the Covid-19 Vaccination programme. Our group of local volunteers have been amazing and without their help we could not have run the successful vaccine programme we have. We have a retired police officer, an exvicar and a retired director of nursing to name but a few. They have given up their time throughout the pandemic, sometimes coming in at very short notice to help run and guide our patients through extremely busy clinics. Each one of our volunteers always goes above and beyond in anything we ask of them. Our volunteers are really helping us ‘make a difference’ in getting through the global pandemic and for that we would like to thank each one of them. Pauline, Maureen, Tracy, Dyllis & Marc – you are simply the best.
