The gullies and pipes have been surveyed and repairs identified all along Church Lane and Marsh Lane. However the drainage ditch needs attention from EA from Marsh Lane through to the fields to Pegs Pool. Salt Marsh Lane: Pipe survey to confirm outfalls is promised by UU shortly. A588 flooding at Papershop: The survey underway will cover the outfall under Thistleton Property and the outfall to Kiln Lane South Spur Water course (bottom end of Barrington Close).

I joined other flood forum members in June for the quarterly meeting (held remotely) and took part in discussions on familiar topics with paid officers from the Environment Agency, Lancashire County Council, Wyre Council and Natural England and members of the local flood forums from river towns and villages. There are issues concerning Churchtown, St Michaels, Great and Little Eccleston, Out Rawcliffe, Hambleton, Preesall and Thornton Cleveleys which officers are studying and finding solutions for.
