We started the year with a fabulous forty-four members playing in the opening Super Men’s Day of 2022. It was great to have many of the new members join us and we look forward to the programme of events that have been laid out by the Sports Shop for the rest of the year. Ron Tucker, last year’s winner of the Champions Cup, got off to a fast start by winning the January event together with his playing partners of Don Muehlberger, Kevin Nattrass and Wes Warren. Congratulations on posting the low score of 54. Our second Super Men’s Day will be on February 16th, and then we are running a Men’s Open Golf Event on Monday, February 21st. This event is open to all Men who are resident in Port Royal. It is a fun, unstructured event designed to allow anyone to play and experience golf within Port Royal. So, if you have neighbors or friends who don’t play much golf, mention this event to them and get them to come along. Of course, if you want to have your own games within your foursome, a bit of friendly competition is perfectly OK. See the notice of the event on the next page and look out for more reminders in the Trident and e-blasts. Finally, the first Major of the year will take place in March.
