Multi-colored rosettes grow similar in form to a bush. The rosette center is pale yellow and the larger leaves become progressively greener as they work from the center out, culminating in a brilliant red edge. Aeonium Kiwi produces yellow flowers in the summer, is drought tolerant, prefers bright sun and is cold hardy to about 25-30 degrees. Water thoroughly but infrequently so the soil has a chance to dry out.
Echeveria BLACK PRINCE Deep purple, almost black rosettes, start out greenish but darken with age. Black Prince produces orange-red flowers in the late fall to early winter. Full sun produces the best color, cold hardy to 25 degrees. This variety needs well drained soil with only occasional waterings.

A beautiful, grayish-blue leafed rosette tinged in pink with yellow, peach, or salmon flowers; blooms in summer on 6” stalks. Lola multiplies easily and will be surrounded by offsets that can be left in place or propagated. Grow in pots and bring inside when temperatures near freezing. Water deeply at the base every 3-7 days when soil is completely dry.
This variety has a host of nicknames, including flapjack, paddle plant, dog tongue, dessert cabbage, and ice sculpture. The fleshy, paddle-like gray green leaves develop a red tinge with full sun. The mature plants produce a yellow flower in the spring. They are drought tolerant, cold tolerant to about 30 degrees, but won’t tolerate a frost. Water thoroughly, but allow the soil to dry out between waterings.
Echeveria TOPSY TURVY With its origins in Mexico, this fast-growing runyonii succulent has silver-grey leaves which curve out and up. The leaf tips point back to the center of the plant, earning its nickname ‘Topsy Turvy’. It produces orange/apricot-colored flowers on tall, arching stems in late summer/ early fall. It is cold hardy and drought tolerant. Water at regular intervals. Keep in a well-drained soil.
Sempervivum COBWEB BUTTONS Slow growing, tight, pale green rosettes form a gray webbing over their center leaves and produces pink flowers in the summer. Cobweb Buttons is drought tolerant, prefers sun or light shade in well drained soil, infrequent waterings cold hardy to 0 degrees and lower.

Jasoda is a great season extender with five colors. They all flower on the same day and are designed to perform as well inside as outside; which makes them perfect for early crop production under black cloth. Red is less vigorous than the Staviski family and more suitable to finish in smaller containers without PGR’s. Natural season flowering is early October in the North, mid October in the South. Part of the Edible Ornamental line, Tagetes Dropshot, a marigold, is grown for its tasty foliage. Used as an herb, it tastes like sweet licorice. The attractive plant adds texture in the garden or mixed containers with finely divided ferny foliage and a compact habit. Excellent in salads, soups, fish dishes, or muddled into your favorite cocktail. It flowers only under short-days, and the flowers are insignificant (less than 1/8”) with only two white petals. Best used in the garden during long-days, from spring through fall.
This Verbena Purple Haze is one of the best pollinator/butterfly plants for the perennial garden, and will flower the throughout most of the growing season. Purple Haze matures at a height of about 20% less than the species. Typically it is often a poor germinating seed, with germ in the 30-50% range not uncommon. Hem offers only “Profi” seed which is treated with several processes primed, with a germination goal of 90% plus. Hardy USDA zones 7-11. Blooms the first year from seed.

USDA PLANT HARDINESS ZONE MAP THIS MAP IS THE STANDARD BY WHICH GARDENERS AND GROWERS CAN DETERMINE WHICH PLANTS ARE MOST LIKELY TO THRIVE AT A LOCATION. THE MAP IS BASED ON THE AVERAGE ANNUAL MINIMUM WINTER TEMPERATURE, DIVIDED INTO 10-DEGREE F ZONES.
FREIGHT Shipping charges are invoiced for all below minimum orders. All seed orders under $200.00 will be shipped by US. Mail. FedEx Ground shipping will be no charge to the customers who are pricing volume P1 through P5 on orders exceeding $300.00. Customers who have pricing volume P6 or P7 will not be charge Fedex Ground on orders exceeding $400.00. Customers who have a pricing volume of P8 will not be charged Fedex ground on orders exceeding $600.00. Freight charges are also imposed whenever overnight, next day or second day delivery is requested, or when the package weight exceeds 5 pounds. Items drop shipped from original orders are subject to shipping charges from the vendors. All Michell’s shipments require a signature from a person’s 18 years or older to receive the package.
PACKAGING Seed is available in the following package sizes: 0.5M, 1M, 5M, 10M, 25M or BULK (where M = 1,000 seed). Michell’s reserves the right to fulfill seed orders using whatever packages are on hand. Requests for multiple packages incur a fee of $1.00 per package. For example, a seed order for 5M in 1M packages would be charged and extra $4.00 (one dollar for each extra package).
SEED FORM Many seed varieties are sold in more than one form. Most seed is sold in its natural (RAW) state. Other forms include: coated (CTD), de-tailed (DET), multi-pellet (MPL), pelletized (PEL), precision multi-pellet (PMPL), and primed (PRI).
