DE 1981 eröffneten die Gastwirte Rosmarie und Toni Laner den Gasthof Waldbichl in Vöran, der heute von den Töchtern Claudia und Irene geführt wird. Eingebettet in die malerische Hochebene des Tschögglberges, bietet der Gasthof Fleisch vom eigenen Bauernhof sowie Kartoffeln, Buchweizen und Gerste vom eigenen Acker. Unser Genusstipp: Wildkräuter-Kartoffel-Buchweizengnocchi mit Topfen und getrockneten Tomaten.

Immersa nel pittoresco altopiano del Monzoccolo, la locan- da offre carne proveniente dal maso di famiglia e patate, grano saraceno e orzo dai propri campi. Il consiglio dello chef: gnocchi di patate, grano saraceno ed erbe aromatiche con ricotta e po- modori secchi.

EN Nestled on the picturesque plateau Monzoccolo above Merano, the Waldbichl inn in Verano was started in 1981 by Rosmarie and Toni Laner and is now run by their daughters, Claudia and Irene. The restaurant’s cuisine is based on ingredients sourced from their own farm, such as beef, potatoes, buckwheat and barley.
