HDFFA PROGRAM Agricultural Support Farmers and ranchers feed our communities, and we work with them to meet their mission and connect with you, the consumer. Our educational workshops and networking opportunities provide capacity support for local farmers and ranchers to reach their full potential. We also provide financial support through Grow & Give (see p.10) and VeggieRx Through our agricultural (see p.12) by paying farmers for their food support program, products.

“The Season Extender grant has helped us to achieve a more stable season and allowed us to grow earlier in the spring and later in the fall. We were able to rotate more crops in the hoop house and sell thousands of pounds of salad mix before and after the farmers market season. The hoophouse has helped increase our income and the amount of produce we are able to donate.”
