1. The Rugged Axe Best of the best 377 S. Willow St., Manchester, 232-7846, theruggedaxe.com With 16 lanes, plus a private party room with two lanes, The Rugged Axe is the largest axe throwing venue in the state, and the only one that serves food and adult beverages, according to its website.
4. Copper Door Restaurant 41 S. Broadway, Salem, 458-2033, copperdoorrestaurant.com The Copper Door Restaurant’s second location opened in November 2017, offering the same menu of New American and upscale comfort food, with multiple dining areas, including an outdoor terrace with a fire pit.
2. RelAxe Throwing 157 Gay St., Manchester, 782-3061, relaxethrowing.com RelAxe opened in June 2019, becoming the first indoor axe-throwing center in New Hampshire. Now, with 14 indoor lanes and eight outdoor lanes, the BYOB facility can accommodate groups of all sizes and offers axe-throwing leagues and tournaments for enthusiasts.
5. Hampton Beach hamptonbeach.org At the heart of Hampton Beach is Ocean Boulevard, a bustling boardwalk with restaurants, shops, arcades and live entertainment. Around a mile away, across the Hampton Beach Bridge, is the staterun beach, which offers a large parking lot, restrooms, a convenience store and a snack bar.
3. 603 Charcuterie 252 Willow St., Manchester, 603charcuterie.com 603 Charcuterie was started during the pandemic as a takeout charcuterie service. One year later, it opened a storefront in Manchester and hosts classes at area breweries and wineries teaching people how to make their own charcuterie boards using New Hampshire-made products.
