ZETA TAU ALPHA

INTERNATIONAL OFFICE SERVICE SUPPORT SYMBOLISM

ZETA TAU ALPHA INTERNATIONAL OFFICE This beautiful, 20,000-square-foot Georgian-style building houses the daily operations of our Fraternity, Foundation and Fraternity Housing Corporation. The facility and resources inside provide service to our members and support to our collegiate and alumnae chapters, as well as embody the rich symbolism of Zeta Tau Alpha. Service ZTA broke ground on International Office in 1992 and dedicated it Oct. 24, 1993. It currently houses a staff of 30, who work diligently under the direction of the Executive Director to serve the needs of ZTA’s more than 225,000 collegiate and alumnae members around the world. Support Each of the three entities of Zeta Tau Alpha—Fraternity, Foundation and Fraternity Housing Corporation—are housed within IO. These groups cooperate to support the mission of Zeta Tau Alpha and its collegiate and alumnae chapters. Symbolism ZTA’s beautiful symbols are highlighted throughout the building. The inviting, impressive rotunda greets our guests as they enter. This feature pays homage to the Longwood University building in which our Founders first met. The rotunda’s rug boldly displays links, representing our beloved Chain of Chapters. The five-pointed crown, ZTA’s most recognizable symbol, appears on many pieces of furniture. You will find many historical photos and artifacts, as ZTA’s Archives are curated at IO.
