Hairdressing & Barbering Level 3

You will have the opportunity to develop and update your technical skills in advanced colouring, colour correction, advanced cutting and long hair.

Designed as a practical course based in our commercial salon, your learning will be underpinned by essential theoretical learning and an insight into the financial responsibility of running a business. Whilst benefitting from the extra enrichment of industry workshops, guest speakers and industry trips, you will also be involved with local and national competitions.

Duration One year

Course Content The course consists of the following units: • Health & Safety • Communication • Customer Service • Long Hair Styling • Barbering • Style & Finish Hair • Colour correction

Assessment is continuous and industry related, with assignments, tests, projects and practical work. All full-time students are required to study maths and English at the appropriate level. Please see page 8 for more details.

Entry Requirements Level 2 Hairdressing or equivalent
