The Making Merry Party A fun earlybird shopping party!
Friday, NOVEMBER 17 : 4-9 pm Central Let the merry making begin! Shop mouthwatering vintage finds, Instagram-worthy handmade goods & home decor, plus boutique clothing all displayed in shop-style spaces throughout the Thelma Keller Convention Center AND the Holiday Inn event space. Enjoy a cash bar, lots of giveaways, & delicious food plus visit with Santa and take photos in his sleigh. Party Tickets $10 / person until Noon this Friday Head to our Facebook page @hobnobmarket and click on Shop Now $10 tickets also available at Fresh Digs in Effingham & KT Boutique in Altamont Still need tickets Friday night? No problem! They're $15 / person at the door Please note: Your Friday party ticket is good for free admission on Market Day Saturday. Kids 12 & under are free both Friday & Saturday. They don't need tickets.

Grab a bite to eat with a glass of wine, tell Santa a wish or two, and be sure to climb in the sleigh for a photo. Admission $5 / person Or free with your Friday night ticket - just show it again at the door. Coming on Saturday only? Admission is at the door - no ticket needed. Kids 12 & under are free

WHEN & WHERE The Hobnob Holiday Market is November 17 & 18 at the Thelma Keller Convention Center in Effingham, Illinois. Exit 160 off Interstate 57/70 - they're combined at this exit Street Address for GPS: 1202 N Keller Drive Effingham, IL
PARKING - AMPLE & FREE! There are lots of places to park for the Hobnob Holiday Market. There are spots around the convention center on all sides plus in the Holiday Inn hotel lot. You are also allowed to park across the street in the Walmart lot. Handicapped parking is in the marked spaces around the hotel & convention center buildings. We are using both the Keller Convention Center main entrance and the entrance through the Holiday Inn lobby for the market so if you have mobility issues feel free to be dropped off under the Holiday Inn canopy and come right in their lobby. We'll have signs out to guide you into the market.

Good Things to Know ATM There is an on-site ATM and it's marked on your map. There is also an ATM at the Jack Flash gas station just in front of the convention center and 2 banks - Midland States Bank & Washington State Bank - within just a block or two of the market. MAPS Holiday Market maps will be available inside each market entrance. ILLINOIS TIME Illinois is on Central time so please double check your arrival estimate. FRIDAY PARTY TICKETS If you buy advance tickets for our Friday party (available online through noon on Friday) we'd love to scan them off your phone. It gets you through the line lots faster. Just pull them up and we'll scan the code in a wink. If you arrive on Friday before the market opens at 4 pm you can hang out in either the main Keller Center lobby or the Holiday Inn hotel lobby. Both places have seating. The Keller Center lobby will have a cash bar open ahead of 4 pm + live piano music. MARKET ENTRANCES We are using both the Keller Convention Center main entrance and the entrance through the Holiday Inn lobby. Watch for chalkboard signs to guide you to the entrances. Entrances are also marked on the Google map with yellow arrows. PORTERS & HOLDS We're doing Holds a little differently at this market. There isn't a large enough spare area at the Keller Center for a Hold Station so we'd like large purchases to remain in vendor booths until you're ready to go and then a porter can gather them for you. If you're familiar with our pink tagging system we'll still be using those but they'll serve more as Sold tags. PLEASE BE CERTAIN you exchange cell numbers with vendors you buy large pieces from & possibly keep a list of what you've bought. Hobnob porters in our pink "Hey Porter" tees will be walking the market and they're available to help anyone who is ready to go and needs purchases gathered. If you don't see a porter and you need help please see us at The Hobnob Shop in the Keller lobby and we'll radio the porters. Porters will also help you load. STROLLERS Wearing your baby may be easier but toddlers in strollers are perfectly fine. Petite umbrella style strollers will be best for this market.
Giveaways! We have lots of ways for you to win this weekend! All of the giveaway goodies and ways to win will be located in The Hobnob Shop by the old storefronts and front doors in the Keller Center lobby. Instagram Tagging Tag your fun Instagram shots from Hobnob Holiday Market with #hobnobmarket or #hobnobholidaymarket. We'll be doing a special drawing after the market just for those who tagged Hobnob Holiday Market photos. Gumball Giveaway...Easy As 1-2-3 1.) Come to The Hobnob Shop 2.) Get a free gumball from the vintage machine 3.) If a pink one rolls down you get 20% off your Hobnob Shop purchase! Pop-up Giveaways On Instagram & Facebook during the market. We may ask you to meet us in a certain spot, do something special, etc. to win. You never know when these will be or what we'll be giving away! Scratchoffs Come by The Hobnob Shop booth to get a scratchoff card. You could win Hobnob CASH (free money to spend at the market) or a special vendor giveaway.
