Porsche Experience Center L O C AT I O N :

Visitors can see historic Porsches undergoing renovations at the restoration center. In the design studio, customers can virtually create their dream cars with fully customizable options. Restaurant 356, named after the first production Porsche, offers diners frontrow seats and a balcony overlooking the test track. HOK designed the three levels of contemporary, naturally illuminated office space, which features sitstand workstations, to encourage collaboration and creativity among staff. A 13,000-sq.-ft. business center features state-of-the-art conference rooms, event spaces and a driving simulator lab.

BP Global Wells Institute L O C AT I O N :

Global Wells Institute’s Hands-On Learning Collection offers displays with physical artifacts. Students and visitors get an approachable, more hands-on feel to a museum exhibit. These displays are tied into the existing visual vocabulary of the center. Mobile carts transport kits into classrooms for study and then wheel out to storage until needed again. All displays are mobile and modular, able to morph and transport to future Global Wells Institute’s locations.

Cargill Protein Headquarters L O C AT I O N :

Cargill Protein’s new headquarters celebrates the why behind Cargill’s mission. The theme “families feeding families” ties visitors to the protein process and the farmers, ranchers, chefs, scientists and engineers working together to nourish the world. EXD helped to develop a tour path through the space with a corresponding story that would be told. Content is sourced locally and reference the landscape, animals, textures and details that are found in the supply chain. Hand-drawn sketches married with corporate brand guidelines create a regional expression that is both authentic and humble. In all, the experiential graphics create a holistic picture and authentic expression that is uniquely Cargill Protein.

The exhibit at MASCO’s headquarters references the legacy, innovations, influences and milestones of MASCO’s history. The manufacturer’s products—used in the building—are celebrated. And the storyline continues into new imagined futures for the company. The media includes passive exhibits, broadcast video and physical artifacts.

HOK is working hand-in-hand with Kiewit’s communication team to enliven the space and create rich experiences aligned with the Kiewit brand. The designs, including a History Wall, are located at the client facing areas and offer timeless solutions with little maintenance. The design focuses on the energy, history, processes and values that make up the Kiewit Corporation. The palette, tone on tone with highlights of yellow, references materials found on the work site. Linear elements emphasize energy usage.

As demographics are shifting, the environmental graphics help connect visitors to Hagerty’s history and brand.
