THE COST OF COVID
PASSPORTS ON BUSINESS Two years ago the average person could never have imagined that to live, work and trade one would have to be injected with an experimental vaccine. Two years on and this is very much our reality. Were we lied to about the introduction of Covid passes?... Yes. During 2020 and the early part of 2021 governments assured its citizens that Covid passports were a conspiracy theory, but behind the scenes a digital surveillance system worth billions was being built. When Covid first appeared in 2020 mainstream publications made fun of conspiracy theories that mocked the pandemic theorising that the virus was man made created to destabilise the world and introduce vaccine verification, lockdowns and digital surveillance. The acronym COVID, Certification of Vaccine Identification, was debunked as nonsense but almost two years on this conspiracy theory has become a reality.
Covid Passports have various names. They are known as a Health pass, Green pass, NHS Covid Pass, Coronapas, EU Covid Digital Pass, plus other various names. They may have different names but they all have one thing in common: to restrict individual freedom, movement and a requirement of compliance dependent on the agreement of a medical intervention. Throughout the free world to travel, gain access to vital services, participate in live events, and trade, it is a requirement to take an experimental vaccine that only has the right to be distributed through emergency powers in democratic countries.

In certain circumstances you may be allowed to show a negative test, but the act of exclusion to anyone who does not acquiesce is growing louder and more dictatorial with vaccine mandates and fines being implemented for the unvaccinated. It is hard to believe that in such a short amount of time a sophisticated surveillance system has been built on the foundation of what you are or are not willing to put into your body. The loss of individual rights requires a deep exploration but businesses, creatives and entrepreneurs are directly feeling the effects of these policies as freedom to trade, travel and interact with others is being restricted. In a UK assessment report compiled by the Department of Digital, Culture, Media and Sport it was very clear that Covid passports were damaging to the hospitality industry. It was found that Covid passes did not stop transmission of the virus and rather acted as a barrier to hospitality venues such as bars, clubs, live entertainment, and sports grounds. Scotland’s vaccine passport scheme came into force on 18 October, and has received widespread criticism on these very points. The Scottish Hospitality Group have said the scheme should be scrapped after it
complained of a 40 percent fall in footfall, and abuse from members of the public. The evidence against vaccine passports is mounting. It is clear that they cannot give a perfect assessment of risk at an individual level and they cannot stop super spreader encounters of the virus. As the BMJ argued, "vaccine passports create economic and social barriers of participation". The damage of Covid passports on businesses (large or small) or on creative enterprise is still being quantified, but for sure there will be a damaging cost to business in the free world if these passes are used for an unspecified length of time.

BUSINESS TRENDS FOR THE FUTURE: 2022 AND BEYOND In a world that is collapsing from the inside out many business owners, creatives, and entrepreneurs are left wondering what direction should they focus on next? It is a given that certain industries that are using old and outdated technology and ideas will collapse. So what business trends will be taking off in 2022 and over the next few years? Holistic Business PR looks at some of the key trends for 2022 and beyond. Satellite internet: During 2020 and 2021 Elon Musk quietly launched a satellite internet network. It is called Starlink and is based on low orbit satellites. Available worldwide and even in remote areas, Starlink is set to

change our experience with broadband internet connection. Elon Musk does not own the monopoly on internet satellite and there are other players in the market but his popularity will help this technology grow quickly. Satellite internet does have its downside as it is isn't cheap, and requires a hefty investment of equipment for both the investor and customer. If you can find a way to invest in the market and be part of the internet revolution that is on its way, then you could be in for a successful venture in years to come. Spiritual and Holistic Concepts that Drive Business Forward If there is one good thing that Covid has given us it is the chance to change. We have all had to dig deep and explore our own reasons for existence. Business owners, creatives and entrepreneurs have had to be resilient, patient, and find new ways of working in a world that seems to be against free trade and abundance for all. During the last two years we have become more spiritual and in touch with ourselves. Covid has made us as a collective slow down, go inwards, and question what we want for the future.
17
Thinking in spiritual and holistic terms about business is becoming socially acceptable. People are beginning to understand that to grow and to create your own profitable community for trade requires respecting one another, appreciating your staff, and understanding the macrocosm of currency and gratitude. In 2022 we will see an explosion of business owners who want to create something completely new, and who want to connect with their customers in vibrant and innovative ways using the principles of holistic business. Expect alot more partner building and willingness to help one another grow. As well as a growing interest in learning about spiritual and holistic concepts that can be applied to business. Practical Knowledge of Trades Covid is creating a world that is no longer global but local. Two years on and the virus is still running rampant. Eventually, countries will need to look at limiting travel and closing borders to contain the army of mutant viruses that will continue to develop for the next few years. This is great for local trades which for many decades have had to compete with international competition due to the global market.
/Lifestyle
Focusing on your local market will prove to be beneficial. Trades that offer utility such as bakeries, seamstresses, booksellers, entertainers, health and beauty practitioners, farmers, milk man, writers, musicians, tutors, antique collectors and much more will have a special place in society in years to come. Being able to do, rather than knowing something theoretically, will be priceless. So invest in your skillset and allow yourself to shine, and share your knowledge with others. Local Tourism will Grow Our days of jet setting around the globe are coming to an end. Due to the inconsistency of Covid restrictions, requirement for vaccination, and Covid passes, will undoubtedly collapse the travel industry. It is inevitable that due to market pressures, in time many airlines will contract, get smaller or die off completely. As we become more green a demand to save the earth and travel less will get louder and louder. This will force millions of people to explore closer to home. Local tourism can flourish in years to come with the right foresight. So finding new ways to discover the past can be profitable if approached in an original and innovative way.
18
Local tourism will also inspire increased visitors to local hotels, restaurants, shops, camping sites and caravan sites. Getting back to local will help save jobs and industries so do not underestimate the power of investing or creating a local business. Open Source Metaverse There's been lots of talk about the metaverse in recent months with Facebook, now known as Meta, making the first claim of ownership. Whether you like the idea or not expect this technology to flourish and take off. Rather than handing over the reigns of ownership to big corporate business dream big and explore the creation of independent and open source metaverses. Like websites we can all develop our own metaverses where others are invited to connect, play and trade together. So don't be limited in your thoughts in this area. The metaverse doesn't have to be owned by one big corporate entity, it can also be owned by individual visionaries who want a safe and prosperous place to thrive and trade. So think out of the box.

MEDITATION FOR BUSINESS Have you found yourself needing to escape from the madness that has taken over our planet? Or maybe you have realised that when your mind is calm you create more easily. If so you are one of many that are tapping into the new vibrations that are around us. There is a revolution of positive spirit taking over this planet and many of us are looking for connection, calmness and inner peace. If you haven't explored meditation now is the time to throw off your shackles and allow yourself to just be. Meditation is not difficult, all you need is the will to calm your mind for 10-15 minutes a few times a week to get started. When you allow your mind to calm you gain clarity and peace of mind.
"When you allow your mind to calm you gain clarity and peace of mind."
Meditation is one of the best things you can do. When you meditate you connect to the inner you, the higher self of you, who is aware of your full potential and life path. We have already had some great creators of business who have found success through understanding the power of meditation. Steve Jobs, Louise Hay, and Bob Proctor to name a few have maximised their potential and created businesses that have changed the world. They did this by knowing how to achieve balance through mental relaxation, visualisation, and then action. Below are some of the benefits that can be achieved when using mediation for business.

/Wellbeing
A relaxed mind is a conscious mind If you want to grow your business, coonect with new customers and clients, it all starts with the vibration you have inside. Using meditation regularly will help you relax your mind and release resistance and stress.
Tapping into inner riches Successful business owners know how to tap into their inner world to create riches that manifest in reality. Conscious business owners can do the same, but when they manifest externally they help change the world for the better. It all starts with slowing the mind through concentration and awareness. When you meditate you learn how to become a conscious creator. Which is a creator who can impact the world for the better.
Connect to the Universal Mind When we meditate we connect to our higher selves, the self beyond the ego, and we get in harmony with the universal mind. We allow ourselves to let go and let God and receive guidance for our next steps. The nudges and inspirational ideas we get lead us to our next path, but our minds need to be in tune to understand the downloads. So having an open and relaxed mind is the key to success.
