We have arranged a Tour of the State Rooms but you will also recognise the settings for ‘Hogwarts’ in the first two Harry Potter Films and as Brancaster Castle in the Downton Abbey Christmas Specials.
After Breakfast, our double destination takes us firstly to the Award Winning Beamish Museum with its story of life in the North East and then to the Historic City of Durham with its famous Cathedral and Castle. A memorable day out with something for everyone. This evening our final Dinner at the Garden Inn.

A New Hotel situated next to Sunderland’s ‘Stadium of Light’, just a few minutes from the City Centre and access to nearby attractions such as the Sandy Beaches of Seaburn at the National Glass Centre.
Explore the Ancient Narrow Streets, the Bustling Harbour and see the striking ruins of Whitby Abbey.
