Vertical Blinds Vertical blinds are created from various materials: wood, metal, composite or laminated fabrics and bamboo. The slats run vertical and move from side to side when tilted, and stack left, right or separate in the middle to when opened. Vertical blinds work well in large windows and sliding glass doors. The large slats make vertical blinds much easier to clean than other window coverings.
