Valerie grew up in the northern part of Rhode Island and has lived in Lincoln since 1984. She graduated from Rhode Island College with a Bachelor's Degree in Arts for teaching but found her true love was not in the classroom but out in the field with buyers and sellers!

She obtained her broker's license in 1989 and has enjoyed living the "glamorous" life of a realtor ever since. The beautiful little state of Rhode Island is so tiny that listing and selling in all 39 cities and towns make sense. What intrigues Valerie most and keeps her motivated is the warm and wonderful relationships that develop along the way - not just with clients but with other realtors.

After 25 years of working at other real estate agencies, she was fortunate to meet her broker, Dean deTonnancourt, when he opened the first East Coast HomeSmart office.
