ACCOUNTANT
Well established, privately owned and operated, respected Construction Firm requires an Accountant with strong professional accounting and financial reporting experience. The qualified candidate will contribute to the strategic development of this organization.
You will be responsible for directing the processing of the full cycle of accounting; including accounts payable/receivable, invoicing, general ledger, and other weekly reports. In addition, you will have the opportunity to provide administrative and procedural support to other functional areas of the organization.
If you have exceptional accounting/financial skills, a can-do attitude that enjoys a team environment that prides itself on excellent customer service and creative problem-solving skills, you may qualify for this position that reports directly to the owners.
Essential Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the accurate processing of AR/AP, invoicing, and payroll activities
• Maintenance of the General Ledger
• Responsible for maintaining cash management systems
• Preparation of other financial reports as indicated by management
• Other functions as directed by ownership
Experience Desired:
• Three (3) plus years of extensive accounting experience in a $2 mil or larger organization
• Highly skilled with accounting software (QuickBooks preferred) and Microsoft Office Products (Excel and Word)
• Generalist administrative experience with and knowledge of the commercial services industry is highly desired
• Ability to systemize self and others.
• A Bachelor's degree in business with an emphasis in Accounting is desired, however, solid experience is acceptable in lieu of a degree
