The course will give you the practical core skills necessary to succeed as an IT professional. The course aims to provide focus on providing a range of careers in Computing, such as Network Management, Application Development, Database Management, Cloud and Security. You will gain a thorough grounding in the key concepts and practical skills required to progress into employment or continued undergraduate studies. If you are not yet clear on your ultimate career pathway then this is an ideal qualification designed to develop high level skills leading to a wide range of employment opportunities.

In the first year you will be asked to manage a computing project requiring you to undertake research, demonstrate well informed decision making and solve problems. In the second year you will be asked to undertake a research project which will draw on the areas of study across the two years.
