Findings Transverse gray-scale (left) and power Doppler (right) images of the terminal tuft of the ring finger demonstrates a hypoechoic 2 mm nodule with internal vascularity. The nodule was exquisitely tender to touch by the ultrasound transducer. The nodule was localized intra-operatively by ultrasound.
