CHITA SHARES A SECRET By: Judith K. Campbell
Chita was a very happy and active cheetah who lived in a beautiful jungle. Everywhere there was green, with huge trees, vines, and fruit. There were so many other animals: lions, elephants, zebras, all playing and swimming every day.
Chita’s mom and dad loved her and took very good care of her, showing her love every day.
One morning, Chita woke up and did not feel very well. She was tired all day and her legs and neck were very sore.
Each day, she still had no energy to play and to do things with her friends, and her parents decided to take her to see Dr. Hippopotamus.
Chita was scared.
