The Cenral Florida Brazilian American Chamber of Commerce visited Mayor Buddy Dyer to introduce its new Directory to the City Leader. At the meeting was discussed his visit to Brazil to Curitiba 3 years ago, and the wish to organize a Trade Mission that will bring more business to Orlando. Another topic that was discussed was the brand new flight recently created by TAM Airlines, Rio - Orlando, due to the crescent flux of Brazilian passengers to Orlando. To Capture the great momentum in the Brazilian Economy, bringing lots of business to Florida, the Fourth Brazilian Business Fair should be happening again by the Fall, according to CEO Silas A. Pinto. Along with all the great aspects over the booming in the Tourism in Orlando, the Chamber also asked the Mayor, support to the Brazilian Community, and all residents here in Orlando that need the City's help, and Mayor Dyer placed the Chamber in contact with Alicia Ramirez that is responsible for the HOLA Office, under Luis Martinez - Multicultural Affairs Director, and they promptly offered to make everything possible to help our Community.

Na reunião foi discutida a sua visita a Curitiba há 3 anos, e o desejo de organizar uma missão comercial que vai trazer mais negócios para Orlando. Outro tema que foi discutido foi o vôo novo recentemente criado pela TAM Linhas Aéreas, do Rio -Orlando-Rio, devido ao fluxo crescente de passageiros do Brasil para Orlando. Para capturar o grande impulso na economia brasileira, trazendo montes de negócios para a Flórida, a Quarta Feira Brasileira de Negócios devera’ estar acontecendo novamente no mes de Outubro, de acordo com o CEO Silas A. Pinto. Portuguese: Carnaval, is an annual festival held forty-six days before Easter. The term "carnival," from carnelevare, "to remove (literally, "raise") , have roots in the pagan festival of Saturnalia, which, adapted to Christianity, and became a farewell to bad things in a season of religious discipline to practice repentance and prepare for Christ's death and resurrection. Carnival is the most famous holiday in Brazil and has become an event of huge proportions. Excepted the industries, malls and the carnival related workers, the country stops completely for almost a week and festivities are intense, day and night, mainly in coastal cities. The consumption of beer accounts for 80% of annual consumption and tourism receives 70% of annual visitors. The government distributes condoms and launches awareness campaigns at this time to prevent the spread of AIDS Rio de Janeiro's carnival alone drew 4.9 million people in 2011, with 400,000 being foreigners.

De um lado, a elite dos jogadores brasileiros em atividade no país. Do outro, uma série de estrangeiros que se destacam no NBB. No ultimo Sábado as equipes do NBB Brasil e do NBB Mundo se enfrentaram no evento principal do Jogo das Estrelas 2012. No time brasileiro, os cinco titulares foram Fúlvio, Alex, Marcelinho, Giovannoni e Murilo, que foram comandados pelo técnico Guerrinha. No banco, o treinador ainda teve Nezinho e Vitor Benite, para a armação, Arthur e Fischer, para as alas, Olivinha, Caio Torres e Cipolini para o garrafão. Já pela equipe de estrangeiros, o quinteto que inicia a partida é formado por Larry, Shamell, Sowell, Kammerichs e Jeff Agba. O NBB Mundo, comandado por Gonzalo Garcia, também teve a disposição os armadores Figueroa e Mark Borders, os alas David Jackson, Robby Collum e Robert Day, além dos pivôs Araújo e Toyloy. Mesmo com o clima de festa, Guerrinha não qui saber de perder. Os brasileiros buscavam a revanche, após serem derrotados pelos estrangeiros em 2011. “Sinto orgulho de participar do evento, mas, independente de ser um festa, tenho que fazer o meu trabalho e tentar ganhar”, disse o treinador. O técnico argentino Gonzalo Garcia, foi só elogios ao principal evento do basquete brasileiro e prometeu um grande espetáculo para a torcida no Pedrocão. “É muito bom poder participar de um evento como esse, a organização está de parabéns. O importante é que seja um grande jogo e uma grande festa para todos”, comentou o treinador. O NBB é um campeonato organizado pela Liga Nacional de Basquete (LNB), em parceria com a Rede Globo e patrocínio Eletrobras, Caixa, Penalty e Netshoes.

Depois de conseguir a virada no segundo quarto, o NBB Brasil não perdeu mais a liderança no placar. No final, vitória verde e amarela, 125 a 102.
Os cestinhas da partida foram dois atletas do NBB Mundo, Shamell e Jeff Agba, com 21 e 20 pontos respectivamente. Mas foi o NBB Brasil quem elegeu o MVP da partida. O pivô Murilo, com 15 pontos, seis rebotes e 22 no índice de eficiência foi escolhido o jogador mais valioso da partida. Também pelo time brasileiro, se destacaram Arthur, com 16 pontos, e Nezinho que, mesmo sob vaias da torcida francana, teve boa atuação, com nove pontos e 11 assistências.

O NBB é um campeonato organizado pela Liga Nacional de Basquete (LNB), em parceria com a Rede Globo e Patrocínio Eletrobras, Caixa, Penalty e Netshoes.
Helinho foi absoluto já na primeira rodada, quando converteu 20 de 30 pontos possíveis e foi o primeiro colocado. Em segundo empataram Paulinho Boracini, do Pinheiros, e Pedro, do Paulistano, ambos com 18. Eliminados na primeira fase, o atual campeão Fischer, do bauru, converteu 14, Day, do Uberlândia, 13, e Rossi, do Brasília, 9. Fogo de Chão (pronounced fo-go dèe shoun), an authentic Southern Brazilian steakhouse that’s been named one of Zagat’s top U.S. restaurants, will open in Orlando Thursday, March 15 on International Drive, the heart of the city’s renowned visitor corridor. The restaurant’s dining experience is based on the centuries-old gaucho tradition known as churrasco, the art of roasting meats over an open charcoal fire. A prix fixe menu features freshly grilled meats carved tableside, as well as an extensive salad bar and authentic Brazilian sides. “Orlando is both a dynamic travel destination and a robust restaurant market, so it’s been on the top of our list for some time,” said Fogo de Chão CEO Larry Johnson. The Orlando announcement comes on the heels of restaurant openings in 2011 in Rio de Janiero and Las Vegas.

Fogo de Chão specializes in espeto corrido, or “continuous service,” in which a team of Braziliantrained gaucho chefs prepare and serve 15 different cuts of beef, lamb, chicken and pork. Guests dictate both the pace and the portions of their dining experience by using a small, double-sided disc that signals to the gaucho chefs that they are ready for additional service. Although meats are the primary focus, the restaurant also features a gourmet salad and sides bar with more than 30 selections, including smoked salmon, sun-dried tomatoes, hearts of palm, tabbouleh salad, jumbo asparagus, cured meats, artisan breads and imported cheeses. The restaurant offers a 200-label wine list, for which it has received Wine Spectator’s Award of Excellence for the past eight years. Guests may also sample the Caipirinha, made from Brazilian liquor cachaça, as well as Guarana Brazilian soda and zesty Brazilian lemonade. Desserts include the restaurant’s signature Papaya Cream, made with fresh papaya, vanilla ice cream and Crème de Cassis liqueur, as well as South American Flan, Crème Brule, Turtle Cheesecake, Molten Chocolate Cake and Key Lime Pie.
While the menu and service are traditional, the architectural elements are strikingly contemporary, with a rich color palette of terracotta, oxblood red, tan and cream. Red clay tile roof accents and crisp, black awnings frame the restaurant’s centerpiece: a multi-storied, cobalt-blue tile tower entrance with a glass-enclosed open flame rotisserie at its foundation. Interiors are defined by starched, white linens, warm woods, amber-hued chandeliers and colorful wall murals depicting the gaucho culture and lifestyle. The 12,000 square-foot restaurant has seating for 400 guests and offers five private and semi-private dining rooms for group events, meetings and wedding celebrations. An outdoor patio – a first for the restaurant company – features stone floors, exposed wood beams and teak planters. “Orlando is vibrant and fun, and our restaurant design reflects that energy and excitement,” said Johnson. Fogo do Chão Orlando is located at 8282 International Drive, a quarter mile south of Sand Lake Road and about a mile north of the Orange County Convention Center.

Turismo de observação de aves no Guarujá Conhecida internacionalmente pelas belas praias, o Guarujá dá seus primeiros passos rumo ao Turismo de Observação de Aves. A Observação de Aves ou birdwatching é praticada no mundo todo por cerca de 100 milhões de pessoas e movimenta só nos Estados Unidos, mais de US$ 80 milhões. O turismo de observação de aves é uma atividade de baixo impacto podendo ser realizado em pequenos grupos ou mesmo sozinho, sendo possível em qualquer época do ano. O Guarujá faz parte de um grupo de cidades que participam de um projeto denominado Roteiro das Aves, que tem como objetivo divulgar a capacidade turística da observação de aves no Brasil. Ave brasileira em essência, Ramphocelus bresilius, popularmente conhecida como tiê-sangue, não tem como passar despercebida na mata. Como o próprio nome diz, sua cor é vermelho sangue contrastando fortemente com o verde das folhagens. Cheguei aos Estados Unidos em pleno mês de abril. Jamais poderei esquecer a em ração estava quebrado. A saudade já era imensa e a “nova terra” estava radiante. Sorri aquela visão fenomenal foi como um presente do Céu. As árvores, carregadas de flores e lindas. A grama verde, o céu impecavelmente azul e os pássaros em côro celebravam vista. Amei a “nova terra” e celebrei a grandeza do criador. Percebi que, ao contrário do Brasil, a natureza estava sempre em transição. Por e guinte traria sempre novas surpresas. Assim, eu vi as flores da primavera cairem das ár verde claro e suave. Aprendi também que o tempo voa na “nova terra”. Depois da pásco tes, de um verde-escuro vibrante. Não demorou muito, a natureza interveio outra vez. Dessa vez, um vento frio soprou e tureza se tranformou. Árvores amarelas, vermelhas, alaranjadas e da cor do vinho pro não muitos dias, o vento se tornou ainda mais intenso e a dança das folhas começou. As coloridas deram lugar ás árvores secas que apontavam para o céu. Foi ai que a neve des de neve. A neve escondeu a grama de tal forma que fiquei imaginando quanto tempo le grama viçosa apareceu com o vigor de quem descansara por muitos meses e estava reno secas transformaram-se, ressurgiram carregadas de flores coloridas trazendo esperanç estavam por toda a parte. Por isso não se preocupem de dar ao seu filho a oportunidade dela ser uma criança bilingue.Saiba como a maioria dos pais começam a ensinar seus filhos a falar mais de um idioma. Cada um dos pais fala uma língua . Se cada pai tem uma língua materna diferente, então cada um dos pais pode falar sua língua nativa para a criança. Este método é frequentemente referido como uma Pessoa, uma língua método. Linguagem diferente em casa . Se os pais falam uma língua diferente da comunidade, os pais podem falar sua língua nativa em casa, a criança pode aprender a língua de outros participantes da comunidade. Este método é geralmente conhecida como a língua minoritária em casa modelo. Tempo e lugar . So do not worry about giving your child the chance to be bilangual. Learn how most parents start teaching their children to speak more than one language. Each parent speaks one language. If each parent has a different mother language, then each parent can speak their native language to the child. This method is often referred to as a person, a language method. Personal RGE Tours is one of the largest and most successful Brazilian receptive tour operations in Central Florida. Serving as the operating end for some of the largest tour operators in Brazil like Gaptur, New it Club, Forma Family, Intercultural, Wings Turismo, and many others. Yearly, they bring in thousands of families and kids from Brazil and have slowly built a powerful, well-known, widely respected brand in Brazil. The last 21 years, they have grown from utilizing cell phones of the two co-owners, Theresa Reis and Marianna Silva, to operating from their new office on Conroy-Windermere Road with a handful of reservations and organization employees. Marianna was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro. She grew up wanting to be an economist…Working with numbers. “My dream was to be on Wall Street”, she told me laughing. She graduated from college while working with various banks and companies in Brazil. Her parents were entrenched in the tourism community, but at the time Marianna was not interested. As fate would have it, she took a trip to Orlando and her world and her goals changed completely.
“I came to Orlando on a vacation. Immediately I fell in love with the city. But I also found my future husband and my life changed.”, Marianna said. She went back to Brazil gave her best friens a power of attorney soshe could graduate for her and came back to Orlando. She decided to study more and get her master’s degree. Working through school, she served as Public relations for a few Brazilian stores and restaurants, and became exposed to the enticing field of hospitality and tourism. Well, 22 years later, Marianna can definitely say she loves it. After graduating with a Master’s degree, she met Theresa Reis and the two became partners together to grow PersonalRGE tours. “It’s always difficult at first to leave Brazil”, she told me. “I come from Rio where the city is bursting, full of life. The funny thing is, I probably see more of my family here than I would there because they would always visit and want to come to Orlando.”
“I love the city of Orlando. Always have. Everything is here from the theme parks, the shows, the NBA. This is a fantastic place to raise your family with great schools. Marianna’s grounded approach is obvious in how she does business and how she wants herself and her company to be perceived.

“Look, we are not creating a cure for cancer”, she laughs discussing the success of her program. “ We are selling dreams, and vacations, and we try to make the trips for our clients memorable and develop strong relationships between the city and with Brazil. At the end of the day, we are ordinary people just trying to do a job and do it well.” “I believe relationships and credibility are the key to doing business with Brazil. We have been developing relationships for 21 years with companies. We do not try to go after more business than we could handle or try to take over the community. We slowly grow…step by step. And, the most important thing is, we follow-up and ALWAYS do what we say we will do. That is very important for us.” Personal RGE Tours is built on a solid foundation of character, integrity, and honesty. Two years ago PersonalRGE Tours added online reservations and capabilities to their company as they continue to grow incrementally. In the next five years, Marianna said they will look to add other markets and continue to pursue their creative nuances. “We are creative. We like to try new things and add refreshing concepts so our tours are different. We recently added a party at Epcot which was very successful, and we look for new ways to enhance our itineraries.” It is clear that Marianna, Theresa, and their team strive to put the “Personal” touch with their business. I believe their refreshing attitude towards life and business translates into a steady, day by day growth that is grounded on humility and integrity helps them maintain during tough times. (Greek "πέτρα" (petra), meaning stone; Arabic: , AlBatrā) is a historical and archaeological city in the Jordanian governorate of Ma'an that is famous for its rock cut architecture and water conduit system. Established sometime around the 6th century BC as the capital city of the Nabataeans, it is a symbol of Jordan as well as its most visited tourist attraction. It lies on the slope of Mount Hor in a basin among the mountains which form the eastern flank of Arabah (Wadi Araba), the large valley running from the Dead Sea to the Gulf of Aqaba. Petra has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1985.
Christianity found its way to Petra in the 4th century AD, nearly 500 years after the establishment of Petra as a trade center. Athanasius mentions a bishop of Petra (Anhioch. 10) named Asterius. At least one of the tombs (the "tomb with the urn") was used as a church. An inscription in red paint records its consecration "in the time of the most holy bishop Jason" (447). After the Islamic conquest of 629–632 Christianity in Petra, as of most of Arabia, gave way to Islam. During the First Crusade Petra was occupied by Baldwin I of the Kingdom of Jerusalem and formed the second fief of the barony of Al Karak (in the lordship of Oultrejordain) with the title Château de la Valée de Moyse or Sela. It remained in the hands of the Franks until 1189. It is still a titular see of the Catholic Church. Two Crusader-period castles are known in and around Petra. The first is al-Wu'ayra and is situated just north of Wadi Musa. It can be viewed from the road to "Little Petra".
It is the castle of Valle Moise which was seized by a band of Turks with the help of local Muslims and only recovered by the Crusaders after they began to destroy the olive trees of Wadi Musa. The potential loss of livelihood led the locals to negotiate surrender. The second is on the summit of el-Habis in the heart of Petra and can be accessed via a flight of steps that begins near the tomb complex known as "the Monastery". According to Arab tradition, Petra is the spot where Moses (Musa) struck a rock with his staff and water came forth, and where Moses' brother, Aaron (Harun), is buried, at Mount Hor, known today as Jabal Haroun or Mount Aaron. The Wadi Musa or "Wadi of Moses" is the Arab name for the narrow valley at the head of which Petra is sited. A mountaintop shrine of Moses' sister Miriam was still shown to pilgrims at the time of Jerome in the 4th century, but its location has not been identified since
