July is here, tourist season has arrived and we are already filled with people from allover the world! Restaurants, Hotels and Parks at full throttle.This year despite all the renovations that started last year, some of them already are finished and the new attractions are already entertaining the avid public. Here you will see some of the new at Magic Kingdom, also the attractions that still are the guests favorite like Splash Mountain, and Thunder Mountain Railroad at Adventureland, among many more. In Fantasyland, The New Dumbo had a beautiful remodel and now has 2 carousel instead of one bringing more to the spin. Also at Toon Town still not finalized, to relieve the heat they have a choo choo train that splash water, allowing the kids to refresh from the heat and have some fun, until the rest of the refurbishment is done and all the new Princess Castles are done and revealed.

At Hollywood Studios besides Tower of Terror, Lights, Motors, Action, extreme Stunt Show, is a great show! lots of action and the chance to see Lightning McQueen.

As far as the other parks Isles of Adventure is still offering the most thrills and Harry Potter is major attraction to everyone, with rides shopping and all the magic that involves the movie available to all.

There is endless fun to all, and Magic to take the entire world, even if you are a local resident ! Enjoy!

This week, Tavistock Group hosted an exclusive event for Brazilian investors and local leaders at their premier residential golf community Isleworth in Windermere in honor of the arrival of Piquet Group, a renowned Brazilian investment firm with offices in Florida and New York. Brazil’s well-known late night national television host Amaury, Jr. was in attendance filming an episode to air on his show throughout Brazil.

In the wake of a recovering economy and capitalizing on the boom of business arriving in the U.S. from Brazil, Piquet has become well known across the eastern seaboard as a catalyst for bringing Brazilian investment to the U.S. and forging regional economic opportunities.

“Brazil is currently our fastest growing international market, with twice daily non-stop flights from MCO to Sao Paulo and additional non-stop service to Brazil expected later this year,” said Frank Kruppenbacher, Chairman of the Board of the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority. “There is no doubt that the robust Brazilian economy has helped boost international traffic at Orlando International Airport, which has also contributed in excess of $300 million to our local economy. The Legend

Zico comes to Orlando in its third consecutive year coaching the kids at his Camp and re launches his book, A lesson in living, now in its second edition.

The book signing was at Fogo de Ch達o Steakhouse and all his fans were delighted with the possibility to hug their idol, or have a few seconds with him aside. Zico for all the Flamengo fans is a legend, a man that was devoted to his team, with a loyalty that we are yet to see, he made our hearts pump so many times, that still today we have those moments carved in our memory.

With a beautiful career, and life, Zico today passes on to younger generations his knowledge of Soccer and all the kids that participate at his annual camp have a chance to learn from the best..

Observing for a few moments, he teaches with the same passion he played, and for that, the kids also learned to see him as a master. Even the little ones, keep calling his name, looking for a little more of his attention. These kids will never forget these moments and lessons.

In the few moments we had together I asked him about the athletes of today, the soccer players like Neymar, Messi and others like them, that are so powerful and strong, a lot different than the players from his time in the game, and he said " Players need to understand a few basic things, the first one discipline, and also that they need to train, eat, drink and rest, because the body needs these three things to keep going. There

is no difference from yesterday to now, basically these players, worked so hard that a lot of the things a normal kid does during life is forgotten by them, because they are too busy training, and then all of a sudden when success hits they get all the opportunities, and sometimes people do not understand that side of it.

A successful athletic career demands a lot of personal sacrifice.

We also asked him about the camp at ESPN-Wide World of Sports and why Orlando, and he explained :The structure Disney offers is great, and it offers all what we need, also he added that they would like to offer the same camp to more kids, in other areas in the US, but right now they are just ideas.

vem a Orlando em seu terceiro ano consecutivo, para treinar e ensinar as crianças e re-lança seu livro, Uma lição de vida, agora em sua segunda edição. A sessão de autógrafos foi no Fogo de Chao Churrascaria e todos os seus fãs ficaram encantados com a possibilidade de abraçar o seu ídolo,e desfrutar de alguns segundos ao lado dele.

Zico para todos os torcedores do Flamengo é uma lenda, um homem que se dedicava à sua equipe, com uma lealdade que ainda não conseguimos ver novamente. Ele fez o nosso coração bater forte tantas vezes, que ainda hoje temos aqueles momentos gravados em nossa memória .

Com uma bela carreira, e historia de vida, Zico, hoje passa às novas gerações os seus conhecimentos de futebol para as crianças que participam em seu acampamento anual, na ESPN Wide World of Sports.

Observando por alguns momentos, percebe-se que ele ensina com a mesma paixão que ele jogava, e que as crianças também aprenderam a vê-lo como um mestre, ate mesmo os mais pequenos, que seguem chamando por seu nome, procurando um pouco mais de sua atenção. Aprendendo com o melhor que ha, essas crianças nunca irao esquecer esses momentos e essas lições.

Em poucos momentos que tivemos juntos eu lhe perguntei sobre os atletas de hoje, os jogadores de futebol, como

Neymar, Messi e outros como eles, que são poderosos e fortes, muito diferente do que os jogadores de seu tempo, e ele disse "Os jogadores precisam entender algumas coisas básicas, a primeira disciplina, e também que eles precisam treinar, comer, beber e descansar, porque o corpo precisa dessas três coisas para continuar. Não há diferença de ontem para hoje, basicamente esses jogadores, trabalham tão duro, que muitas das coisas que um jovem normal faz durante a vida é esquecida por eles, pois estão treinando e muito ocupados em atingir o nivel necessario para chegar ao sucesso, então de repente, quando o sucesso bate eles recebem todas as oportunidades de uma so vez, e às vezes o publico não entende esse lado da historia. Uma carreira esportiva bem sucedida exige muito sacrifício pessoal.

Também perguntamos a ele sobre o acampamento na ESPN Wide World of Sports e por que Orlando, e ele explicou que a infra estrutura oferecida pela Disney é grande, tem tudo o que eles precisam, mas que também existe o desejo de oferecer o mesmo acampamento para mais crianças, em outras áreas os EUA, mas por agora é apenas uma idéia.

Em nossa questao final perguntamos, E o Flamengo? E ele disse que "é complicado!"

This month I wanted to talk about DRIVE. To be relevant in the music industry, you have to have drive. Making it in music is like making it in the NBA, it's very hard but not impossible. You have to want to be successful, like you need to breathe. Any Indie artist will tell you that unless you put in countless hours promoting your music, you really are just recording music. You see the music is only 10% of the big picture. There's plenty of artist with talent. That are at least 5000 artist in Orlando, that's artist with a product that could sell with the right promotion. Out of those 5000 artist, 2500 will never sell a CD because they don't understand that recording the song is only a small part of the puzzle. Now your at 2500. Out of those 2500 another 2300 don't have the funding to get their music out. Now your at 200. That's 200 artist that have funding. Out of those 200 another 175 of the artist will fall off in their 1st couple of years because they did not realize how much work it takes to be in the game for real. Now you have 25 artist that can maintain a music career that makes money. Out of those 25 artist only one or two have that inner DRIVE to be the very best at what they do. That one or two actually have a chance to "MAKE IT".

I'm sure these numbers are not 100% accurate, but you guys get the point I'm trying to make. I'm by no means trying to detour a young artist trying to break into the business, in fact I encourage it. Maçãs do amor (Candy apple) Depois de testar varias receitas de maca do amor esta ficou sendo a minha favorita.

6 maçãs pequenas ou 3 medias 6 palitos 1.1/2 copo de açúcar 1/8 tsp creme tártaro (cream of tartar) 1/3 copo de agua 1/2 tsp suco de limão (exprimido na hora) 5 cravos (whole cloves) 1 tsp de corante vermelho *Lavar as maçãs, arrancar os cabinhos, secar bem e colocar os palitos e reserva-las *Em uma panela alta, colocar todos os outros ingredientes e mexer bem. *levar esta mistura ao fogo e deixar ferver ate atingir 310F no termômetro de doce. *Retire do fogo e cuidadosamente mergulhe as macas nesta calda *Colocar as maçãs numa forma de silicone bem untada com manteiga (ou forma com papel manteiga também untada com manteiga) Dicas : Esta calda e muito quente,trabalhe com o máximo cuidado e longe de crianças.

Após passar as maçãs pela calda elas podem ser decoradas com sprinkles, coco ralado ou nozes trituradas.

“Tem, ao longo do mar, nalgumas partes, grandes barreiras, delas vermelhas, delas brancas; e a terra por cima, toda chá e muito cheia de grandes arvoredos, de ponta a ponta, é tudo praia, palma, muito chá e muito formosa.”Pero Vaz de Caminha

Sem automóveis, celular ou energia elétrica, Caraíva nos recebeu pela primeira vez no verão de 2006. O encantamento foi imediato pela rica diversidade de belezas naturais e a grata surpresa de uma ótima infraestrutura com pousadas aconchegantes. Ficamos hospedados nas Casinhas da Bahia, do sempre simpático Edgar.

A vila fica na foz do rio Caraíva, no sul da Bahia, tendo como limites o mar, o rio e o Parque Nacional de Monte Pascoal, na Costa do Descobrimento. Marco da chegada dos portugueses ao Brasil.

Até então, a única fonte de energia elétrica era através de geradores e o único meio de transporte eram barcos e canoas.

A dificuldade de acesso à vila de Caraíva, antiga aldeia de índios Pataxó, é o que a mantém preservada, a sua paisagem natural e o seu ambiente quase primitivo.De acordo com o IPHAN (Instituto do Patrimônio Histórico e Artístico Nacional), as florestas da Costa do Descobrimento

Toda a paisagem é um convite ao relaxamento e sintonia com a natureza.

O rio volumoso, em seu movimento calmo e constante, segue em direção ao mar, margeado pelos manquezais, restingas e banha acolhedor os seus visitantes com suas bóias e embarcações.

As ruas de areia e as casas coloridas dão um charme especial ao vilarejo. Além de oferecer inúmeras atrações durante o dia, como caminhadas pelas praias, passeios de barco e mergulho. À noite não faltam opções de bares, restaurantes e lugares para dançar ao ritmo do forró, reggae, ou curtir MPB ou rock in roll em luaus e fogueiras a beira-mar.

Passamos dias inesquecíveis desde o desembarque até o último momento que deixou gostinho de “quero mais”. Fomos embora prometendo voltar e repetir a aventura de descer o Rio Caraíva de bóia até encontrar o mar.

E realmente voltamos! Seis anos depois passamos o Reveillon em Corumbau e a proximidade do belo vilarejo foi irresistível.

Enquanto esperávamos 2012 chegar, alugamos um barco e, depois de 30 minutos de travessia, reencontramos Caraíva, desta vez pelo mar, no encontro com o rio.

Encontramos o vilarejo mais antigo do Brasil com os mesmos encantos e, apesar de já contar com energia elétrica desde 2007, tudo continuava encantador como antes.

A Igreja de São Sebastião, as ruas de areia, as casas multicoloridas, o refrescante Açaí, a arte local e o artesanato Pataxó.

O forró e a MPB também continuava, mas agora também podíamos ouvir outros idiomas de jovens de diversas nacionalidades.

As Casinhas da Bahia, do Edgard, também continuava lá, e também o ilustre Edgard. Que bom revê-lo, amigo! Os carros continuavam proibidos e os Flamboyants também continuavam florindo. Que bom! Tudo continuava no seu lugar ao seu ritmo arrastado e tranquilo.
