Before I start with my discussion on what went down and changed with the magazine, let me irst of all wish all our readers a very blessed and prosperous 2014. This year went by so fast I do not know where it has gone to. This is the only thing that money cannot buy, TIME. During this ime of the year there are a lot of crazies on the road, so keep your eyes open, your minds sharp and look out for those who do not think before they get behind the wheel of a car. Guys, party at home and stay of the roads when you had a shot or two. It is not worth it to drive under the inluence of any substances. If you travel far, rest oten and if must, switch drivers. There are no brownie points for bravery. Come back home safely and lets all make 2014 a rocking year. This was a truly hecic “month”, our deadline was pushed way forward due to the holidays. On our web page you can browse and read the mag online, but if you want to download copies for ease of read or back up purposes, you will have to pay a ridiculously low fee for it. So visit our web page and subscribe to our magazine. Due to these issues, and the fact that a shoot or two had to be postponed due to weather the content of this issue is still not where I would like it to be, far of in fact. But as time goes by and we grow things will start to fall in place. We are still in the infant stage, barely crawling, but with your support we can only grow and bring you more of the good stuff. In this issue you will see a very rare Rossion Q1, it is so rare that if this was a stake it would not even have been close to the grill. We have a look at one of the daddies of the modern sports car, a superbly kept 280ZX two seater with some serious 2JZ power behind it. On the sound side we bring you a shaking Rockford install from the guys at Cellsound Custom Designs and Installations in Centurion. This was a full month as far as drag racing is concerned, we bring you action from the Summer Fest held at Nitro raceway, the last event of the year at Amsterdam and the crazy Summer Slam held at ODI. A lot of fast street cars and full blown dragsters rocked up at these venues to satisfy their need for adrenalin, and to give the crowds a show. The last month saw the passing of Paul Walker, Madiba, Baby Jake and a couple of other well known faces. But they are not the only ones. Every day thousands of people worldwide lose their lives in some or other way, this goes out for all those unknown people who also leave loved ones behind. Be careful, safe and don’t become a road staisic. See you all next month. LeonK

Sunday the 1st of December saw the “Summer fest” at the Nitro raceway near Brakpan. The racing was fast and ferocious from the word GO. There were no real slow shakedown runs where guys irst got a feel for the surface, no sir, guys and girls came out with all guns blazing, or is that pistons iring. This was no eliminators event either; this was just old fashioned straight heads up racing with a good couple of close scraps going on through the day. Oom Sybie Coetzee from Nitro Performance had his 7second 2JZ powered GX there for some exhibiion runs, and as luck it would have, his irst run took place while I went to get some chow, and the second when I was busy having a couple of words with some car nuts way back in the pit area, so sorry guys, no photos of the GX doing some massive burn outs and tearing up the strip. As can be expected on an un-prepped strip, he did not give this monster carrots. It would be just too dangerous and he would just wheel spin all the way down the strip in any case. Never the less he did put up the fastest ime of the day with a stonking 9.378s. As usual in these parts of the woods, Ester Cloete and her “Pink Lady” Golf was also present. Guys if you do not know this car, you have not been to any races in the JHB area. This is one super sexy Golf, in a female kind of way, and it does not go to bad ei-
