The Queen is perhaps best known for her efforts in reviving many of Thailand’s folk arts and crafts. Her Majesty’s SUPPORT Foundation (Foundation for the Promotion of Supplementary Occupations and Related Techniques) has expanded progressively since its establishment in 1976.

Well going to Cha Am on the feeder road there are several places which make suckling pigs, BBQ´ ed and all, your pig is delivered to the house together with a finishing off charcoal grill and a carver for about Baht 2500 depending in the piggy´s weight. 15 guests struggled to finish the food off (food from Mr. Mon Soi 112) Great stuff. See we have it all in Hua Hin. So our phones can be hacked. Good to know, just imagine your wife sends you an SMS and “they” answer for you “sorry babe, need to see my Gig”…ain´t that destructive? She may have you shot whilst you are buying her flowers. These guys have been practicing this for years and badly hurting innocent people with it. So it is all possible. I thought our mobile phone system was pretty tight and unhackable, but then, again, I was wrong. Poor Murdochs..they had no clue. However….Looks like some levels under them thought differently. Hua Hin Today will be supplying bicycles to the municipality which will be complimentary. There will be stations at

which you can get a bike and drop it again after using it. Should keep us in shape and at the same time contribute towards environmental stability. The owner and Chef of Bella Mia in Soi 94, Khun Peter ran out of petrol with his bike at 3 in the morning. As he stopped, some of our faithful authorities pulled up next to him and after checking his status, pushed him with their motor bike to the nearest gas station. Now that is what I call service, consideration and Thai way! An education survey revealed that, according to a research team of the Guardian and BBc in the UK, the best educational system is that of Finnland, followed closely by South Korea, Canada , New Zealand, Japan and the Netherlands, with the USA, Germany, France and UK trailing in 14th,16th,18th and 20th place. Our local system was not mentioned. Mexico was 32th. I wonder who made the original Margaritas and Mojitos, Burritos and Tacos? Aren´t they brilliant what else should we learn in school? Petrol is up to over 40 Baht in Hua Hin now. In Luxemburg, petrol is 53 Baht (lowest in Europe). Will we be on that level soon? How

However some scientists say that we still have oil supplies for the next 1500 years. The USA alone uses 25% of all the oil pumped although their population is only 300 million. It seems the US have endless oil reserves but this is never mentioned. Car engines use about 30% of the potential energy in a liter of fuel, the rest is lost in heat. Diesel engines are a bit more fuel efficient. In a Hybrid, the petrol or diesel engine drives a generator which loads the batteries (1 alternative). When the batteries are full and less power is required, the petrol engine either is turned off automatically or runs on idling speed until needed again. In the following editions we will report on

Her Majesty Queen Sirikit - Short Biography

er Majesty Queen Sirikit is the daughter of His Highness Prince Chandaburi Suranath (Mom Chao Nakkhatra Mangkala Kitiyakara) and Mom Luang Bua Kitiyakara (nee Mom Luang Bua Snidwongse). She was born on August 12, 1932. She attended kindergarten class at Rajini School, but subsequently went to St. Francis Xavier convent school at Samsen District in Bangkok. Her father later on became Thai Minister to France, then to Denmark and, ultimately, Ambassador to the Court of St. James in England. Her Majesty accompanied him and continued her general education in the three countries and lastly in Switzerland. It was while her father was stationed in Paris that she first met His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, who was then studying in Switzerland but went now and then to Paris. The chance meeting in Paris ripened into friendship and understanding. When His Majesty met with a very serious motor accident in Geneva, Switzerland, and had to stay in a hospital at Lausanne, Her Majesty was a frequent visitor. When His Majesty was well again and left the hospital, he was graciously pleased to arrange for Her Majesty to continue her studies at Riante Rive, a boarding school in Lausanne. On July 19, 1949, Their Majesties were quietly engaged in Lausanne. On March 24, 1950, Their Majesties landed in Bangkok by ship after a long absence. On April 28 of the same year, the royal wedding took place at

Pathumwan Palace. The couple has 4 children, consisting of 3 daughters and a son, namely: Princess Ubol Ratana, born on April 5, 1951, in Lausanne, Switzerland Crown Prince Maha Vajiralongkorn, born on July 28, 1952 Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, born on April 2, 1955 Princess Chulabhorn, born on July 4, 1957 Both alongside His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej and by herself, Her Majesty Queen Sirikit has journeyed to almost every corner of the Kingdom of Thailand to not only observe her people’s living condition but to also listen to their problems and give them needed advice, solutions and encouragement. With pure love and great compassion a mother would have for her children, Her Majesty deems all Thai citizens’ happiness and suffering as her own. On every visit to a local community of Her Majesty the Queen, the sight of a large crowd of residents, sitting on the ground and awaiting her arrival with uncontainable joy and pounding hearts, is common. Her Majesty always greets the people with warmth and humbly sits down on the same level to closely converse with them. She is so deeply determined to hear the locals’ troubles in order to develop a sound understanding and to be able to provide them with the most effective solutions. It is said that Her Majesty sometimes spends long hours on her duty without a trace of tiredness but only a gentle smile on her face.

Her Majesty Queen Sirikit has invested much of her labor, intelligence and personal funds towards the goal to offer the impoverished citizens the accessibility to education and vocational training,which she sees will help create income for them in a sustainable manner and lead to higher living standard in the long run. Through hundreds of her royal initiative projects, Her Majesty has ensured that the young have enough food to eat, that the sick receive proper medical attention, that the elderly are cared for, and that the poor can stand on their own feet.

Her Majesty Queen Sirikit is praised as “Environmentalist Queen” due to her

innumerable contributions to environmental conservation in line with initiatives of His Majesty the King. Up to the present time, Their Majesties the King and Queen have paid frequent visits to remote areas across the nation. Upon her visits, Her Majesty has noticed the deterioration of nature and ecosystem along the rivers caused by deforestation. This environmental condition has led to natural disasters such has drought, climate change, flooding, dying agricultural crops, barren lands, and extinction of wild animals and plants. Her Majesty remarked that the environmental problems found along the rivers needed to be urgently resolved to prevent them from spreading to other areas. According to Her Majesty the Queen, people who ignore the environmental problems worsen the situation. Their lack of cooperation

significantly obstructs the Government’s efforts to put an end to deforestation and natural resource exploitation. Her Majesty cited the problem of mobile plantations in the northern region which has destroyed agricultural lands. She stated that the matter needed to be tackled seriously, starting with informing the public of the consequences of mobile plantations. Her Majesty assists them by providing jobs which can earn them sustainable incomes. Her Majesty bases her projects for the less-fortunate people on His Majesty the King’s projects such as the construction of reservoirs for water storage for consumption and cultivation during the dry season. Her Majesty once said she felt proud of Thailand’s wildlife and natural resources and stressed that it was necessary for the nation to utilize nature resources wisely and preserve them for the younger generations. As a widely-recognized environment conserver, Her Majesty realizes the relationship and coexistence between humans and nature and uses her intellect in tackling environmental problems in a sustainable manner. Outstanding projects on environmental conservation under her royal patronage include “Forest Loves Water,” “Little House in Big Forest,” and “Forest Development.” These projects have the same objective to raise environmental awareness among people for cooperation in preserving the nation’s forests, plants, and wildlife.

he Hua Hin Municipality joined hands with the Prachuab Khirikhan Police Commanding Division, the Hua Hin Municipal Council and the OPT Motorsport Co. Ltd. to launch a Jazz music festival and Automobile show in Hua Hin this upcoming cold season. The one of a kind event will take place from the 3rd to the 5th of December this year. According to the Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin, Khun Suvit. It provides inspiring and exciting entertainments of European and American standards with a lot of big Jazz bands and Orchestras performing together with the Motor show. A big exhibition on His Majesty’s the King initiative will be organized there as well to celebrate his 84th birthday anniversary. One of the highlights is a parade of six ‘Formula One’ cars on the Petchakasem Road. All of the cars belong to Mr. Chalerm Yuwitthaya from the Red Bull Company. Both Thai and foreign visitors will have a chance to admire the beautiful cars the same as on Rajadamnern Avenue in Bangkok. Music lovers can indulge in Jazz music on stage with large monitors there and

They can sit on a big stand to enjoy the open air musical performance, too. “So far, this event will be the biggest national event in Hua Hin because its investment is nearly ten million Baht. It’ll be broadcasted worldwide to promote tourism in Hua Hin and Thailand during the upcoming new year,” said Mr. Suwit. “We expect over 100,000 visitors for the festival.” Mr. Suwit added that the venue for this event was still a problem as the town center had to be used for the stage of performance and exhibition. Besides, some of the roads on Petchakasem would have to be closed for the car parade. The Hua Hin Municipality and the Prachuab Khirikhan Police Commanding Division have already asked the OPT to consider how much space is needed for the event. Now, the area at the Intercontinental Hotel adjacent to Petchkasem Road, the Centennial Park in Hua Hin, the Somdej Phra Suriyothai military base and the Hua Hin International Airport are provided for the event. Any other areas may be used more events unless traffic in the city is affected.

into Crude Oil InterestsbyPTT Elephant Polo Back To Hua Hin Chamnan Staff of Petroleum Authority of Thailand (PTT) Public Company has recently visited Hua Hin to study processes of recycling plastic waste to fuel. Led by Mr. Chitsanucha Thonawanik, the project manager on environmental support from the PTT, the visiting group went to a waste area in Khao Laeng and learnt that the 1 or 2 ton plastic waste was effectively processed into crude oil daily thanks to hightechnology machines and professional staff there. The PTT was highly impressed by this activity because it contributes to protecting the environment. Moreover, the processed plastic waste can be fermented into natural gas or produced further into fertilizer. The project of turning plastic waste into crude oil was initiated by the executives of Hua Hin Municipality with cooperation of local administrative offices in Prachuab Khirikhan.

Most budgets are from the government whilst supervision belongs to a private company. This makes the work efficient and successful to a certain extend. The Mayor of Hua Hin said that the crude oil from plastic waste produced in Hua Hin is regularly sent to the Bang Jak Refinery which secures the crude oil price at 18 baht a liter. So far, over 10,000 liters of crude oil from plastic waste have been provided to Bang Jak. Regardless of the production cost being high, this project will continue because it is a non profit-oriented but environmentallyconcerned organisation. “Municipal areas throughout Thailand that are facing too much waste problems can follow this project. The PTT realizes how important environmental conservation is to Thailand and the world, so we’re willing to support any creative project like this at municipals in Thailand,” concluded Mr. Chitsanucha.

Yachtsmen set sail for The Dusit Thani Hua Hin and the Hua Hin Regatta 2011

he long stretches of sandy beach that shelve out into the tropical waters of the Gulf of Thailand are among the highlights of Cha-am and Hua Hin,. The twinned resorts are ideal, both for bathers to safely frolic close to shore and for sailors to do what comes naturally in the offshore breezes fanning the ocean waves. Given the presence of four royal summer palaces nearby and His Majesty the King’s keen interest in the sport of yachting, Hua Hin is considered the traditional home for the kingdom’s sailing community. Dusit Thani Hua Hin has played host to an annual sailing jamboree, the Hua Hin Regatta, since the event’s inception in 2001. This year’s Regatta will also be organised as part of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s seventh-cycle birthday celebrations. Dusit Thani Hua Hin had double cause for delight when the resortwas chosen by the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand (YRAT) as the host hotel and venue for the Hua Hin Regatta 2011, which will be held on 20- 28 August in full view of the hotel. In announcing the selection, Admiral Khamthorn Pumhiran, President of the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand and Commander in Chief of the Royal Thai Navy, observed that the choice of venue coincides with the 20th anniversary of the last occasion that His Majesty the King sailed with the Royal Thai Navy, as a most distinguished guest of Dusit Thani Hua Hin, during our first year of operation back in 1991. This twelfth Hua Hin Regatta, organised by the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand in conjunction with the Royal Thai Navy, the Tourism Authority of Thailand, the District Authority of Cha-am and the Provincial Authority of Petchburi, will see sailors competing for several coveted Royal Trophies, including The King’s Cup for the Royal Vega Rudder Classes; The King’s Cup for the Super Mod National Championship; The Princess’ Cup from the late HRH Princess Galyani Vadhana for the Optimist Championship; and The Queen’s Cup for the OK Dinghy National Championship – a boat in which His Majesty the King sailed single-handedly across the Gulf of Thailand –

and a class in which His Majesty the King was a gold-medal winner at the 1967 regional South-east Asian Games. The Thai yachting and marine sector accelerated midway through the last decade when the Royal Thai Government decided to remove the crippling 240 percent tax and excise duty on the marine sector. King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s ongoing support of yacht racing has also been a major catalyst in the development and emergence of world-class Thai sailors in recent years. Hopefully the barometer will be set to ‘fair’ and the sun will shine on sailors and spectators as upwards of 225 yachts from 22 countries are expected to set sail for the resort in the Regatta. Khun George expressed his worries about the massive growth of Hua Hin and the environmental problems that come with it, together with other issues such as road conditions and infrastructure, in special in areas where many foreigners live and prestigious developments exists. He mentioned that these areas highlight Hua Hin as an alternative residential and investment destination for upper class Expats, the rising traffic and parking problems etc. The issues of problems with reference to the condition of the roads in various places of Hua Hin, the Mayor confirmed that he and his team very well understand the problems and are trying to solve them, but also he mentioned that there is a limited budget in the municipality that makes it difficult to solve all the problems. Khun George raised the idea of a forum between foreigners and the authorities to help solve the problems.

He specifically mentioned the area in which he built his first projects in Hua Hin soi 114 and soi 116 and mentioned that this has become an increasing Foreign Residents area, with more than 200 farang house owners living there. He also believes if all these foreigners can be informed properly by the authorities for the problems, he is sure they can help and can donate money to solve the problems together. He believes that the communication between the parties and not the money is the real problem.

The authorities have welcomed the idea and both parties decided to work together to build up a committee with foreigners and Thai authorities which can work together and try to find solutions for all these problems. Members of this association can be any foreigner that lives in the area more than 3 months a year. Hua Hin Today will work as a mediator between the authorities and the people. The Deputy mayor Khun Suvit Rianrungruang informed the participants in this meeting about the extension of the road in Soi 112 which will be completed by year 2012. From Petchkasem road all the way to the By Pass Highway, there will be a four lane road connection. The same as the present first kilometer at the entrance of Soi 112. The necessary budgets have already been approved. To not keep all these efforts only in words but also make it happen, Hua Hin Today presented it´s contribution to the Hua Hin Environment. To indorse his commitment to the environment Khun George as developer of GreenScape Hua Hin wants to create environmental awareness among Hua Hin citizens and Tourists. Hua Hin Today is offering 100 mountain bicycles to the municipality which will be placed in strategic areas in the city where locals and foreigners alike can use them complimentary to ride around the city or use them for as alternative transportation in the city. After the request of Pol.Col. Damrongsak ThongNgarmtrakul, 14 mountain bicycles will be donated to the police, to patrol the city. Following by Mayor of Hua Hin, Khun Jira Pongphaiboon request, 30 children’s bicycles will be donated to the local municipality to be distributed in local schools. These bicycles can be used by children in an effort to create an environmental awareness amongst them. The donations were well appreciated by the Authorities. The bicycles will be delivered by the end of September this year. Dr. Pronniwes moved to Hua Hin with her parents when she was 2 years old. She went to primary school in Hua Hin and did her secondary in the capital. Furthermore Dr. Nathita studied medicine in Bangkok and did her internship and practical at the Rajavithi Hospital in Bangkok. Shebelongs to a young generation of doctors who inform patients comprehensively about their illness. Dr. Nathita´s medical goal is becoming a spec ialist surgeon in Head and Throat Surgery which includes , Thiroid, Vocal Cords and throat diseases. It is refreshing to have young and eager doctors in Hua Hin. Especially since the number of patients going to BKK hospital is on the rise. Dr. Nathita wishes for her hospital to increase specialization in particular branches of the hospital.

ol. Col. Damrongsak Thong-ngarmtrakul, the superintendent, Chief of the Hua Hin Municipal Police force, was born on the 9th of August B.E. 2508 (1965). A high school student from the Hua Hin Municipal School in 1983, Pol. Col. Damrongsak received a B.A. in laws from the Sukhothai Thammathirat University in 1989. In 2007, he graduated a M.A. in public administration from Suan Dusit Rajabhat University. Pol. Col. Damrongsak, also known as Khun Dam began his career as an administrative sub-inspector at the local police office in Pattaya, Cholburi, during 1991 until 1993. Then, he worked as an investigative sub-inspector and a police investigator (Commission 2) at the local police office in Pattaya from 1993 to 2000. During 2005 until 2007, Pol. Col. Damrongsak worked at the Hua Hin Police Office as a police investigator (Commission 2). Then, he moved to the Pak Nam Pran Police Office in Pranburi district, Prachuabkhirikhan, to work as a chief inspector in 2007. After working at the Baan Nong Phlab Police Office from 2008 to 2010, Pol. Col. Damrongsak came back to work as the superintendent of the Hua Hin Police Office, the position he is taking currently. A professional and experienced police officer, Pol. Col. Damrongsak has been awarded several honorable plaques and certificates that recognize his continuous hard work.

The twelve finalists from the Miss Netherlands 2011 Beauty Pageant visited Hua Hin as part of the build up to the grand finale event that takes place in July. The finalists, each representing a Dutch province, joined in activities that encourage environmental protection, the conservation of resources and responsible tourism. Highlights of the twelve finalists’ amazing adventures in Thailand will air in a special programme to be broadcast on the Dutch RTL Television Network. It will be one of six episodes that profile the pageant finalists and is the only episode that takes place outside of the Netherlands. The Thai episode will also be the only one featuring an environmental theme. “This visit by the Miss Netherlands 2011 Beauty Pageant finalists reflects the TAT’s celebrity marketing strategy, which we use to tap into quality markets. ith Hong Kong property prices soaring, investors from the city are looking elsewhere for property speculation opportunities. Pace Development has cashed in nicely on this trend, with Hong Kong buyers snapping up sales of over THB350 million (US$11.69 million) in just three days after a roadshow for luxury development MahaNakhon, according to the Bangkok Post. Currently, prices in Hong Kong are about five times as great as prices in Bangkok,

with new condo units fetching as much as THB1.2 million (US$40,080) per sq m. Currently, interest rates for deposits are usually around two per cent, and thus purchasing property has become the preferred form of investment for wealthy Hong Kong residents and mainland Chinese alike. As prices continue to climb, eyes have started to turn elsewhere, and Thailand is a popular alternative location. Speaking with the Bangkok Post, executive director for investment

and project marketing at CB Richard Ellis said, “Bangkok is still a top-two destination for lifestyle in the eyes of investors in Hong Kong. Their interest in luxury Thai property is driven by a lift in optimism about the overall political and economic environment in Thailand.” Pace Development executive Sorapoj Techakrasri claimed interest picked up after the election, with investors optimistic about new proposed infrastructure projects, which could cause many developments to appreciate considerably in the near future. After the enthusiastic response in Hong Kong, Pace will hold another roadshow in Singapore this weekend. It targets sales of 15-20 units at a value of about THB600 million (US$20.04 million) from both roadshows. Mr. Sorapoj said smaller units were preferred by investors while larger ones were more suitable for buyers seeking a residence. The super-luxury MahaNakhon mixeduse project will be worth THB19 billion (US$634.6 million) and will have 194 condominium units priced between THB225,000 (US$7,520) and THB345,000 (US$11,523) per sq m. The 77-storey building will be the tallest in Bangkok. It will also house a hotel, Bangkok Edition, operated by RitzCarlton and will have 27,000 sq m of retail space. Mr. Sorapoj said luxury project units with a hotel brand were easier to resell. Pace has sold 35% of the MahaNakhon units and expects the figure to increase to 40% after the two roadshows. It aims to have sold 45% of the units by the end of the year.

Child custody disputes between foreign and Thai partners are more complicated than custody disputes between two people of the same nationality abroad or here locally. Under Thai law if a man and a woman have a child together and are not married, the lady will have one hundred percent custody of the child. The reason for this is because she is certain to be the mother of the child as she is the one pregnant whilst the father cannot be confirmed so easily. To obtain custody of the child the father must go through the family court and apply to be the father of the child and be approved; this can be avoided if you have the mothers consent on the issue. After you have received the court order and are registered as the father of your child. Or if you are already married at the time of birth, you are now eligible for fifty percent custody of your child upon separating with your common law wife or wife. In Thailand it is different from the west in that it is not a real fifty-fifty split for custody; the most important factor is the education and care of the child. The parent that takes care of the child’s education will have custody on working days from Monday to Friday. Whilst the other partner will have custody on the weekends, school holidays will be split fifty-fifty between the two parents. Another important factor is the paying of expenses for the child; this payment is also split between the parents fifty-fifty per month with the approximate court order relative to age of the child: 1 to 10 years old 10,000 Baht, 10 to 15 years old 15,000 Baht, 15 to 20 years old

You have to understand that custody in Thailand is not permanent. Every time that you have the child in your custody you will have to care for them personally, you cannot leave them in the care of a nanny or a relative. If this is the case the other party has the right to submit a case to the court for full custody of the child, if this were to happen it is very difficult to regain custody of the child. But even in this worst case scenario in that you lose all custody, you will still get the chance to visit your child on special occasions such as birthdays or days that are important to them like graduation. It will not mean that you do not have the right to see your child at all. Our comment: It is very difficult to take a child to a foreign country if your child does not have dual nationality passports. If he/she doesn’t have one you will need to apply for a visa at your countries embassy, the chancellor will need to ask the mother of the child to give consent for the child to leave the country. Please understand also that a court order from a foreign country regarding custody will not have any effect here in Thailand whatsoever, vice versa any court order here will not have any effect in your home country. A record number of nominations have been received for the 2011 Thailand Property Awards – widely regarding as the ‘Oscars’ of the Kingdom’s real estate industry. The French community celebrated the 14th of July at La Paillote Restaurant headed by the flamboyant owner Khun Gaston, entrepreneur and Hua Hin investor from Belgium. However there were other nationalities, not wanting to miss the great tasting dinner created by La Paillote Chef. About the French revolution : The French Revolution (French: Révolution française; 1789–1799) was a period of radical social and political upheaval in French and European history. The absolute monarchy that had ruled France for centuries collapsed in three years. French society underwent an epic transformation as feudal, aristocratic and religious privileges evaporated under a sustained assault from left-wing political groups and the masses on the streets. Old ideas about hierarchy and tradition succumbed to new Enlightenment principles of citizenship and inalienable rights. On July 14 of that same year, the Bastille was stormed: in October, Louis XVI and the Royal Family were removed from Versailles to Paris. The King attempted, unsuccessfully, to flee Paris for Varennes in June 1791. A Legislative Assembly sat from October 1791 until September 1792, when, in the face of the advance of the allied armies of Austria, Holland, Prussia, and Sardinia, it was replaced by the National Convention, which proclaimed the Republic. The King was brought to trial in December of 1792, and executed on January 21, 1793. La Paillote offered a set dinner at a very affordable price, taking into consideration the setting and the 5 course meal.

This event was also a part of Hyatt Hotels & Resorts projects that focus on the environmental issues and initiatives by interacting with the community to support its environmental efforts.

he UK’s reputation as one of the world’s best for education is at risk, and has tumbled several places since 2006. Finland tops global school table Finland’s claim to have the best school system has been reinforced by the latest international comparisons. First results from the PISA study of 40 countries put it top overall in the maths, reading and science tests. PISA is a three-yearly appraisal of 15 year olds in the principal industrialised countries, organised by the OECD economic grouping. The UK as a whole was excluded for failing to provide enough results, though Northern Ireland did well. Maths focus PISA - the Programme for International Student Assessment - aims to assess the knowledge and skills needed for full participation in society, rather than mastery of a curriculum. It compares Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) member nations and “partner countries” and regions, such as Russia and Brazil. The tests were taken by more than a quarter of a million students, representing about 23 million in the participating countries. The focus of the 2003 study was mathematics, with problems mainly set in real-world situations, covering space and shape, change and relationships, quantity and uncertainty. Hong Kong had a slightly higher mean score than Finland but on overall proficiency, Finland came top, ahead of South Korea then Canada, with Indonesia bottom. The OECD used seven proficiency levels in increasing order of skill, from “below Level 1” to Level 6. Half or more of the 15-year-olds reached at least Level 4 in Finland, South Korea and Hong Kong. In Mexico, only 3% did so - with an even lower percentage in Indonesia and Tunisia. In most countries that are members of the OECD, at least three quarters of students reached Level 2 - but more than

a quarter were unable to complete those tasks in Italy, Portugal and the US. “These students fail to demonstrate consistently that they have baseline mathematical skills,” the report said. Internal variations The authors caution that - in line with previous international comparisons - only about one tenth of the variation in student performance on the overall mathematics scale lies between countries. Most is within countries - between education systems and programmes, between schools and between students within schools. For example, in Belgium, mean scores on the maths scale for the Flemish community were higher than those in the best-performing OECD countries, Finland and South Korea. Results from the French community, however, were at the OECD average. Both Germany and the Republic of Ireland scored near to the OECD average but the range of performance within Ireland was one of the narrowest, while the difference between the 75th and 25th percentiles in Germany was among the widest. Gender gap In “reading literacy”, the overall results found Finland, South Korea and Canada at the top, and Indonesia again bringing up the rear. On the science scores, four entrants had statistically indistinguishable high average performances: Finland, Japan, Hong Kong-China and South Korea. The OECD report also considers gender differences. In maths, it said much remained to be done to close the gap which saw boys outperforming girls. In reading, girls had “significantly higher average performance” in all countries except Liechtenstein. The biggest gap was in Iceland. Science showed the smallest average gender gap, with boys doing a little better. Girls performed significantly better than boys only in Finland, Iceland and Tunisia.

Getting Arrested without a Warrant—the Flagrant Offense

his time we’ll start to discuss arrests without warrants. Up until now, we’ve been talking about arrests that arise from warrants issued. As we’ve already mentioned, an arrest warrant is a document signed by a judge that gives a police officer the right to arrest someone. If the police officer arrests that person he or she can’t claim wrongful arrest, which we will cover later. But what if a police officer doesn’t have a warrant? Can he or she arrest someone?

In general, an officer can arrest a suspect when when the suspect has committed a “flagrant” offense. This is when the police officer sees the suspect commit the crime or comes upon the scene and the suspect has obviously just committed it. Here’s an example of flagrant commission that contains just a little of the uncertainty of real life legal issues. The police officer comes upon a screaming, hysterical crowd, pushes to the center of it and finds a man holding everyone at bay with a knife and someone lying stabbed on the ground. Someone in the crowd tells the officer that the man with the knife was fighting with the victim and stabbed the victim. Even though he or she didn’t see the crime committed, the police officer is justified in arresting the person with the knife for stabbing the victim. But you can see the problem—the person in the crowd who told the officer the man with the knife had done the stabbing could have been against the person with the knife for some reason and lied. The police are, in these situations, forced to used their best judgment—but sometimes they are wrong. It’s tough to be a police. Here’s another example that demonstrates an additional situation in which an officer can properly arrest without a warrant and without having witnessed the crime. Let’s say a policeman is walking down the street. Mr. X is running toward him. Behind Mr. X is Mr. Y, shouting “Stop, thief!” The policeman is justified in arresting Mr. X because Mr. X is being pursued by others who are calling out that he has committed a crime. This is another of the well-known circumstances under which a warrant is not needed. Let’s look at an example that illustrates the other side of the coin, however. In the example above, let’s change it so that Mr. X is simply running down the street, but not being

pursued by anybody. The police officer has seen Mr. X around, doesn’t like him, and just decides to arrest him. This wouldn’t fall under any of the categories in which an officer can arrest without a warrant. What if Mr. X is arrested under these circumstances? In such a case, the suspect can apply to a court to release him or her. The police officer may, moreover, be guilty of a crime or possibly be sued by the arrestee. We’ll discuss remedies that an arrestee has later. utch owned, Swiss managed Banyan Resort will assure you of a good restaurant with a solid Chef. Dutch people resent meager meals and will make sure their restaurant will always have beef, potatoes, vegetables and sauce (Jus, pronounced “Shue” in Dutch!) Swiss people supervise the quality. The Lemongrass Restaurant is set as an outside covered & inside air conditioned venture,

elegantly designed with contemporate furniture. The terrace is covered with a modern stadium type of roof, reminding me of the Munich Olympic Stadium. But very smart indeed. A great place to have a meal with the family. Although the daily specials often contain seafood, the near vicinity to the Gulf of Siam explains that of course . Chef Samron, of respectable stature (never trust a skinny Chef) gives you immediate assurance and confidence that the food will be wholesome and yes, the Chef Salad which is a composition of Samron had it all. BBQ Pork, various freshly cut salads and several dressings to choose from. In view of the announced Filet of Beef on a Bed of Mushrooms and Mashed potatoes garnished with blanched tomatoes and lettuce and thick Red Wine Sauce, I hesitated to finish the healthy delicious Chef salad. Only that one would have been plentiful for lunch. However, after the salad Khun Pim, our lovely smiling, attentive hostess served the filet Steak – Wagyu

Beef from Australia not to be confused with Kobe Beef of Japan but really more Steak like. The Medium Rare Beef was cooked till perfection with this light crispy outside, juicy and great tasting texture. There is a wide selection of wines to match your lunch or dinner. Chilean wines from the Paso Del Sol were warmly recommended. We chose the Sauvignon Blanc with the Chef salad and the Cabernet Sauvignon, a dry mild thoroughbred red wine with the Beef. We had a not so uncommon desert of Mocca Ice Cream with a touch of Caramel, a double Espresso with Sambucca liquor and a Taxi home. By the way, I ran accros Jack Mairoo who joined me for lunch sipping away on his coke on the rocks. The man is back in town and we will hear from him in our next edition. he sweet, crisp smell of butterfly pea blossoms fills the air. Thick, creamy balm is briskly smacked from one hand to the next. The room goes dim and hazy. Her hands, forearms and elbows wash over my skin mimicking ocean waves. The friction increases, the balm grows warmer. Her hands are everywhere at once. I am drowning in a sea of sensations. Then it slows. The waves become stronger and more focused. My heart beats steady with each twist of her palm. She breaks the silence to ask, “Is the pressure ok?” I struggle to respond. The Intercontinental Hua Hin Resort, 33/33 Petchkasem Road, opened in December 2010 and has quickly earned a reputation as one of the best luxury resorts in Hua Hin, and boasting an array of very satisfied internationally renowned clientele. hen you travel as far as the Evason on the Pranburi coast, the Spa better be worth it ! After arriving and parking my horse, I was welcomed very friendly and driven to the reception area where a Spa representative waited for my arrival ( in my case it was Khun Lisa, the Spa Director). Taking a look at my face, it was not difficult to suggest a revival, rejuvenation treatment. I guess they thought my body was in the same condition as my face so the team decided it is a scrub with natural products under the motto, what you can eat is also good for your skin. The balm is heavy with fragrance and sticky at first. As the massage progresses, the friction of the masseuse’s hands melts the balm, allowing the massage experience to flow from one style to the next. The highlight of this massage was the Balinese techniques of forearm, palm and elbow pressure, which the masseuse expertly applied by rocking her arms back and forth across my back, shoulders, arms and legs. t is estimated that over a third of all visits to doctors are for problems of the ears, nose or throat. Many patients are seen by family doctors, children’s doctors or emergency doctors for problems in this area of the body. There are also doctors that specialize in problems of this part of the body. The official name of their specialty is Otorhinolaryngology, but for some reason they prefer the term ENT. We have five senses with which we relate to the world: Vision, Hearing, Smell, Taste and Touch. Of these five, three are in organs that are the area and as balance is an almost equally important sense, that too is in the ENTs doctor’s scope of practice. Add to this the functions of breathing, eating and drinking, which occur in this area, and you can see how important it is that everything works well in this area of the body. At Bangkok Hospital Hua Hin establishing an ENT department was one of our first priorities and we have specialists ENT Doctors available every day. They are led by Dr Nathita who is a Hua Hin resident who was happy to return to her home town to practice. Other doctors from Bangkok come to Hua Hin to provide care when she is off spending time with her family The human ear is a wonderful instrument. It is composed of tens of thousands of component parts and works quite flawlessly from before we are born to old age and is capable of performing extremely sophisticated tasks. In addition to helping us hear, the ear also contains our primary organ of balance. It is able to hear the very slightest whisper of sound and yet is able to tolerate very high intensity sounds for short periods of time. It can hear a wide range of frequencies of sound from 20Hx to 20,000Hz. Having two functioning ears allow us to make extremely accurate decisions about the exact location of a sound source. The normal ear is also able to discriminate a complex sound such as speech against a background of other noises. It is capable of analyzing tiny changes in the frequency of sound, the intensity of sound, the duration of sound, the direction of sound, and in the interplay of harmonies. When all aspects of the human ear are considered, the ear is far more complex and sophisticated in design and function than any auditory apparatus that technology has been able to develop. Unfortunately, it is very delicate and is susceptible to infections and other diseases. It lies in close proximity and is connected to the throat and the

passage of food, drink and polluted air so close to it is a constant threat. The organ of balance, three semi-circular canals with fluid moving about in then is a miracle of fine design and it is amazing how infrequently it is unable to keep us steady on our feet. The nose is the entrance system for air to the lungs and also contains the delicate system to asses smells. In the area of the larynx food and drink, going down into the stomach and air going to the lungs cross and the mechanisms to ensure that everything goes to the correct destination is located here. .Many everyday health problems cause malfunction in the delicate membranes of the ENT. Colds, Influenza and allergies all cause these membranes to swell and become inflamed. The ears are also sensitive to these insults to the body, particularly in young children who can be very distressed with high fevers and earache. The sinuses are empty spaces that lie in the bones of the face. They are particularly susceptible to infection, sinusitis, which can cause pain, fever, discharge and chronic ill health The ears, nose and throat are not easy to examine and doctors must be skillful in using otoscopes for the ears, nasoscopes for the nose, sinuscopes for the sinuses and laryngoscopes for the throat. The list of symptoms that bring patients to seek care for ENT problems is a long one. Sore and swollen throats, coughing, congestion of the nose and throat nasal discharge, runny nose,, hoarseness, difficulty in hearing, ringing or other noises in the ears, difficulty swallowing, nose bleeds, swollen glands, snoring. A recent addition to this list has been chronic tiredness and irritability due to sleep apnea, a condition in which the patient stops breathing when asleep. Unfortunately there are ENT cancers that can arise particularly in the throat and any symptoms need to be treated seriously. Most of the conditions affecting the ENT can be diagnoses by a visit to the Emergency room or better to the outpatient ENT Clinic. Blood tests and may be X-rays needed to make the diagnosis and very occasionally a patient may have to go to Bangkok for more sophisticated testing. Clean Food & Good Taste

he Division of Public Health and Environment of the Hua Hin Municipality is going to check, assess and certify quality of all food stalls and restaurants in municipal Hua Hin under the program, “Clean Food Good Taste”. The Deputy Mayor of Hua Hin Mr. Atikhun Butying said that this activity aims to standardize quality on hygienic condition and food safety of all restaurants and food stalls in Hua Hin. Those that pass the test will receive a certificate and a sign to ensure customers of their delicious and clean food. Municipal authorities will conduct food

assessment according to formal sanitary regulations declared by the Ministry of Public Health. The regulations mainly concern physical condition of a restaurant and food stall and 10 random bacterial checks from 3 food containers, 5 food samples and hands of 2 food sellers or cooks. This project will be carried out from now on until September, 2011. All food sellers and restaurateurs will be asked to help the municipal authorities in charge. Thailand Jet Ski Championship confirmed

ha-Am Mayor Mr. Nukul Pornsomboonsiri announced that The Thailand Jet Ski Championship is ‘definitely’ taking place between 6 and 7 August after its postponement last month, Hosted by the Petchaburi Provincial Office, the Cha-Am Municipality and the Jet Ski Association of Thailand under the patronage of HRH Princess Ubolrat, the Thailand Jet Ski Championship will be the fourth and the final round for all jet skiers who already passed the previous three races. Due to some technical problems of the Jet Ski Association of Thailand, this competition needed to be delayed from the previously planned scheduled in July. The final race will see Thai jet skiers fight for national championship as the winner will represent the country in an international jet ski championship later. So, throughout the event, audience will certainly be thrilled and excited by the competition. Held by the Cha-Am lookout, the Thailand Jet Ski Championship will promote tourism in Cha-Am and Petchaburi forThais and Foreigners , concluded Mr. Nukul.

he Cha-Am’s 13th Shellfish Eating, Bird Watching and Squid Fishing is scheduled for 9 days from 24 September to 2 October, announced Mr. Nukul Pornsomboonsiri, the Mayor of Cha-Am. The date for this festive event was mutually agreed by the concerned organizing committee at its preparatory meeting on 11 July at the Cha-Am Municipality. The committee members come from governmental and private organizations in Cha-Am, namely the Cha-Am district chief, the superintendent of Cha-Am Police Office, the director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) in Cha-Am, the chairperson of Petchaburi Tourism Business Association, the chairperson of the Bird Watching Club of Pertchaburi, a representative from providers of small boats and jet skis in Cha-Am and the chief officer of the Cha-Am Municipality.

Traditional ceremony Performed at Maruekhathayawan

n 9 July, the Bureau of Crown Property organized a ceremony of worshipping throne halls and trees at the Maruekhathayawan summer palace in Cha-Am, Perchaburi. Having been held for the 5th time to foster highly-revered royal tradition of the Chakri dynasty, this event was presided over by Khunying Sermsri Bunnag and attended by over 100 distinguished guests. The ceremony included traditional styles of trees worshipping which usually takes place before the Buddhist Lent. Performed by civil servants of the Grand Palace, it aims to ask for forgiveness to every plant and tree inside the compound and worship Hindu gods and angels including the Brahma so that an insult, either intentional or unintentional ones, done to them will be lifted. Worshipping the gods is usually done before lunchtime of Buddhist monks at 11 a.m. on the waxing moon day. All worshippers are mostly females because the civil servants in the Grand Palace are women. Trees will be worshipped after the gods. Offerings in the ceremony consist of food, such as a boiled pig head, boiled duck, chicken, fish, steamed prawn, boiled crab and egg, and desserts, namely 8 Thai sweets of which the name is believed by Thais to bring them prosperity and good luck.

According to Khunying Sermsri, trees worshipping begins with trimming trees. It is not held in the rainy season because people may slip and fall off the tree. Moreover, trees that are trimmed will be easily infected by germs due to the rain. If taking place in the palace, there will be doors worshipping because Thais believe that gods and Mother Earth live in the door, most of which are made of wood. At the Maruekhathayawan summer palace, a big banyan was worshipped there. Starting at 9 a.m., the ceremony had the chair chant a spell of auspice to pay homage to the throne halls. Then, the participants lit candles and incenses to ask for forgiveness to all the trees there before doing meditation. Afterwards, small money bags will be tied with trees there. The donation will be used for renovation of the palace by the Maruekhathayawan Foundation. The special representative of the Bureau of Crown Property Mr. Pipatpong Isarasena Na Ayudhaya said that the ceremony took place every year and tourists could take part in it. It will help promote tourism in Cha-Am as the city is well-known among foreign visitors. The Maruekhathayawan summer palace boasts a lot of big trees inside its 80-Rai compound, such as papal, banyan, ebony, tamarind among others. Some trees are older than the palace itself. No exotic plants are selected to grow here for fear of unknown diseases. Mr. Pipatpong also added that the palace was ideally located by the beach and its architecture fit well with its surrounding. In particular, the cement base of the palace has some space through which wind can pass and dry the damp underneath. Formerly, border patrol police who used the palace as their headquarters unintentionally covered the space, causing wooden pillars to crumble. This needed serious renovation for quite a while. The Maruekhathayawan Foundation has also cooperated with the Development Center of Huay Sai Tai to conduct research the surrounding area and found too much sandy loam. To modify the area, they used rain tree leaves as fertilizer and ploughed and filled up the ground with smooth crotalaria before covering it with vetiver. The process takes 3 or 4 years until the

The ceremony also has traditional music performances by Thai youths and selling of products from the palace, especially the Sampanny Thai sweets of which the color is made from plants at the palace. วันเสาร์ที่ ๙ ก.ค.ทีผ่ า่ นมา ส�ำนักงานทรัพย์สนิ ส่วนพระมหากษัตริย์ ได้จดั พิธสี กั การะหมูพ่ ระ ทีน่ งั่ และต้นไม้ ในพระราชนิเวศน์มฤคทายวัน อ.ชะอ�ำ จ.เพชรบุรี ซึง่ จัดขึน้ เป็นครัง้ ที่ ๕ เพือ่ สืบทอดประเพณีโบราณ โดยมี คุณหญิงเสริมศรี บุนนาค เป็นประธานในพิธพี ร้อม แขกผูม้ เี กียรติรว่ ม ๑๐๐ คน งานสักการะต้นไม้ เป็นประเพณีโบราณ ยึดเอาวัน ก่อนเข้าพรรษาท�ำพิธขี อขมาต้นไม้ภายในพระบรมมหาราชวัง ปฏิบตั สิ บื ต่อกันมาโดยข้าราชการฝ่ายใน ภายในพระบรมมหา ราชวัง ท�ำเพือ่ การสักการะ เทพ พรหม เทวดา สิง่ ศักดิส์ ทิ ธิท์ ี่ ปกป้องรักษาบริเวณและเป็นการขอขมาลาโทษทีไ่ ด้ลว่ งเกิน ด้วยการกระท�ำต่างๆ ตลอดทัง้ ปี การบวงสรวงเทวดานี้ มักท�ำวันข้างขึน้ ก่อนเวลาเพล เนือ่ งจากเป็นงานของฝ่ายในผูน้ ำ� ในการประกอบพิธจี งึ เป็นผู้ หญิง หลังจากท�ำพิธบี ชู าบวงสรวงเทพต่าง ๆ ก็จะมีการสักกา ระต้นไม้ดว้ ยเช่นกัน พร้อมกันนีย้ งั ได้จดั เครือ่ งสังเวยพระ ทีน่ งั่ ประกอบด้วยเครือ่ งคาว ได้แก่ หัวหมู เป็ด ไก่ ปลาช่อน กุง้ นึง่ ปู ไข่ตม้ ส่วนเครือ่ งหวาน ได้แก่ เครือ่ งกระยาบวด ประกอบด้วยขนม ๘ อย่าง ได้แก่ทองหยิบ ฝอยทอง ต้มขาว ต้มแดง คันหลาว เมีย่ งส้ม และขนมชัน้ คุณหญิงเสริมศรี กล่าวว่า ตามประเพณีโบราณพิธนี ี้ จะก�ำหนดวันขึน้ ๑๕ ค�ำ่ เดือน ๔ ก่อนเข้าพรรษาจะท�ำการตัด แต่งกิง่ ไม้กอ่ น จะไม่ทำ� ในช่วงฤดูฝนเพราะท�ำให้เกิดอุบตั เิ หตุ พลัดตกจากต้นไม้ได้ และอีกอย่างเพือ่ ป้องกันโรค ต้นไม้ทมี่ ี รอยตัดมีแผลจะติดเชือ้ ราจากฝน ในหนึง่ ปีจะมีพธิ ขี อขมา หนึง่ ครัง้ เพราะก่อนหน้านัน้ อาจจะมีการล่วงเกินต้นไม้ และ ในวังหลวงจะมีพธิ สี กั การะประตูดว้ ย เพราะเชือ่ ว่ามีพระแม่ ธรณีและเทวดาสิงสถิตเพราะประตูทที่ ำ� มาจากไม้ใหญ่ ในวัง หลวงจะจัดพิธใี นท้องพระโรงสโมสรเสวกามาศ พิธกี ารในวันสักการะต้นไม้ในวันนัน้ ได้เลือกต้นไทร ขนาดใหญ่ภายในพระราชนิเวศน์มฤคทายวันเป็นทีว่ างเครือ่ ง สังเวย พิธเี ริม่ ในเวลา ๐๙.๐๐ น. ประธานในพิธนี ำ� อ่านบท สวดปุพพภาคนมการชัยมงคลคาถา และชุมนุมเทวดา เพือ่ สักการะหมูพ่ ระทีน่ งั่ ผูร้ ว่ มพิธจี ดุ ธูปเพือ่ ขอขมาและท�ำสมาธิ จากนัน้ น�ำธูปไปปักไว้ทตี่ น้ ไทร พร้อมกับบริจาคเงินเพือ่ มอบ ไถ้ (ถุงทอง) ไปผูกยังต้นไม้ภายในพระราชนิเวศน์มฤคทายวัน ซึง่ เงินบริจาคดังกล่าวจะน�ำเข้ามูลนิธมิ ฤคทายวันเพือ่ น�ำไป ปรับปรุงดูแลสถาน ทีต่ อ่ ไป พิพฒ ั นพงศ์ อิสระเสนา ณ อยุธยา ผูแ้ ทนพิเศษ

ส�ำนักงานทรัพย์สนิ ส่วนพระมหากษัตริย์ กล่าวว่า ประเพณีนี้ จะจัดต่อเนือ่ งทุกปีและเชิญชวนให้นกั ท่องเทีย่ วเข้าร่วมด้วย ถือว่าฤดูฝนเป็นช่วงเวลาแห่งการเจริญงอกงาม ตัดแต่งต้นไม้ เสร็จก็จะมีการขอขมา ต้องการเผยแพร่พธิ นี ใี้ ห้คนภายนอก ได้รบั ว่าประเทศไทยยังมีพธิ นี อี้ ยู่ จึงเลือกใช้พระราชนิเวศน์ เป็นสถานทีท่ ำ� พิธี เปิดให้นกั ท่องเทีย่ วมาร่วมได้ โดยร่วม บริจาคเงินเพือ่ รับไถ้ไปขอขมาผูกต้นไม้ภายในนีไ้ ด้ ส�ำหรับต้นไม้ซงึ่ ภายในส่วนใหญ่เป็นต้นไม้ในพืน้ ที่ อาทิ ต้นโพธิ์ ไทร ไกร กร่าง ตะโก มะขาม ขึน้ กระจายอยูใ่ น พืน้ ที่ ๘๐ ไร่ ซึง่ บางต้นมีอายุเก่าแก่กว่าพระทีนงั่ เสียอีก หลัก การเลือกต้นไม้มาปลูกของพื้นที่จะไม่เน้นไม้ต่างถิ่นเข้ามา ป้องกันการน�ำโรคพืชมาติดต่อกับต้นไม้ทนี่ ี่ พิพฒ ั นพงศ์ บอกเล่าว่า ทีต่ งั้ ของพระทีน่ งั่ อยูร่ มิ ทะเลได้ออกแบบทางสถาปัตยกรรมที่สอดรับกับสภาพ แวดล้อม สิง่ ทีเ่ ห็นได้ชดั คือใต้ฐานปูนของพระทีน่ งั่ มีลมลอด ผ่าน เพือ่ ไล่ความชืน้ ออกไป แต่กอ่ นหน้านัน้ ความรูเ้ ท่าไม่ถงึ การณ์ ต�ำรวจตระเวนชายแดนทีเ่ คยใช้ทนี่ เี่ ป็นทีท่ ำ� การ ได้ใช้ ดินกลบใต้ฐานส่งผลให้ความชืน้ ขึน้ ไปด้านบนพระทีน่ งั่ เสาไม้ ต่าง ๆ ผุพงั ลง จึงต้องบูรณะจนสวยงามอย่างทีเ่ ห็น นอกจาก นีก้ ารจัดสวนและปลูกต้นไม้ ในพืน้ ทีต่ อ้ งใช้วชิ าการมาจัดการ เช่นกัน ทางมูลนิธพิ ระราชนิเวศน์มฤคทายวัน ร่วมกับศูนย์ การพัฒนาห้วยทรายได้รว่ มกันศึกษาวิจยั เพราะสภาพเป็นดิน เค็ม และเป็นดินปนทราย ดังนัน้ จึงต้องปรับปรุงดินก่อน โดย ใช้ใบจามจุรที รี่ ว่ งมาหมักเป็นปุย๋ หมักบ�ำรุงดิน พร้อมกันนีไ้ ด้ น้อมน�ำแนวพระราชด�ำริพระบาทสมเด็จพระเจ้าอยูห่ วั มาปรับ ใช้ สภาพพืน้ ดินทีเ่ ป็นสนามหญ้าติดริมทะเล ใช้วธิ ปี ลูกปอ เทือง แล้วไถกลบ แล้วลงหญ้าแฝกเพือ่ ให้รากหญ้าแฝกหยัง่ ลงไปในดินดาน รากจะหยัง่ ลึกได้ ๒-๓ เมตรแล้วจึงไถกลบ ขัน้ ตอนนีใ้ ช้เวลา ๓-๔ ปี เสร็จแล้วจึงปลูกหญ้าเมือ่ รดน�ำ้ น�ำ้ จืดจะลงไปช่วยกัน้ น�ำ้ ทะเลไม่ให้ซมึ ขึน้ มา ในงานสักการะต้นไม้ยงั มีจดั กิจกรรม เช่น บรรเลง ดนตรีไทยโดยเยาวชน บรรเลงเพลงทีเ่ กีย่ วเนือ่ งกับธรรมชาติ และพันธุไ์ ม้ตา่ ง ๆกิจกรรมออกร้าน สินค้าผลิตผลของพระ ราชนิเวศน์เช่น ขนมสัมปันนี ใช้สธี รรมชาติจากต้นไม้ภายใน สวน อาทิ สีเขียวจากใบเตย สีมว่ งจากดอกอัญชัน พร้อม จ�ำหน่ายไถ้เงินไถ้ทองให้ผเู้ ข้าชมสามารถร่วมสักการะต้นไม้ และนิทรรศการพรานไม้ งานสักการะต้นไม้ในปีหน้า จึงอยากขอเชิญผูส้ นใจ ร่วมงานพร้อมเพียงกันเช่นนีอ้ กี
