Welcome to another fantastic season of film at Hull Independent Cinema. 2018 has been a great year, with our weekly film programme supplemented by a wide range of special events, including the fifth edition of Hull Film Festival, regular appearances from Yorkshire Silent Film Festival, and a triumphant run of Hull film-maker Sean McAllister’s moving and timely new doc A Northern Soul, to mention just a few. Now we‘re proud to round off the year with a selection of the very best new-release drama, documentary and more, with titles from Poland, France and Italy as well as the best English-language features from the US, UK and Ireland. As well as our regular weekly film screenings there‘s the third edition of Dead of Night Hull Horror Film Festival with a great mix of brand new and classic chills. And of course our friends WeWatchFilms bring us a monthly chance to catch some classic films back on the big screen. You won’t find these films anywhere else, so why not join us to Discover Something Different?
