Mazzotti’s on the Plaza
Starting in the early 70s, Mazzotti’s opened in Huntington Beach, California where Clyde Mazzotti and his family served original recipes over the counter to a loyal clientele. Shortly after opening in Huntington Beach, Brothers Lenny and Tony Mazzotti opened the Eureka location, and it wasn’t long before the place was a haven for locals
Clyde, Judy, and their younger kids Talia and Joseph relocated from Huntington Beach to Eureka, and Judy transformed the Eureka location from an over the counter operation into a full service restaurant. In the early 90s, the younger son Joe took the reins in Eureka, finally expanding onto the Arcata Plaza in 2002
Like so many other businesses, Covid had us scrambling to see what the next chapter of Mazzotti’s would look like. Instead of folding up shop and calling it quits, we decided to use our forced time shut to completely gut the restaurant, redesign, and build it back better than it was before.
With a continued concentration on family recipes, a warm environment and family friendly atmosphere, we’ve also awakened our nightlife with a craft bar from Wallace and Hinz, VIP lounges and a prominent stage for after-hours live music.
Cheers to you for being the best part of our

We have a full-service coffee and juice bar offering coffee, espresso, smoothies, juices and kombucha on tap. With your dietary needs – vegetarian, vegan, glutenfree – in the forefront of our recipes, it’s easy to see why the Co-op is the go-to grocery store for breakfast, lunch, snacks, desserts and dinner.

EUREKA
Oberon Grill
Savor Old Town. Taste Oberon,
In 1908 Dick’s New Oberon was a popular dining and drinking establishment in Eureka’s Old Town. Since reopening in 2008, Oberon Grill has become equally popular as a dining destination. Using the old photograph of Dick and his barkeeps as inspiration, the Kohl family brought the building back to its original glory. The beautiful mahogany bar was built by Wallace and Hinz, local bar manufacturers. The columns on the bar mirror the detail on the front of the building and features from the old photograph.
Oberon’s menu refl ects a goal of authentic, clean cuisine. Recipes and specials are prepared in-house, including their handmade burger buns. A variety of beef cuts and fresh seafood are featured daily. Fresh Crab is available as market presents. Oberon serves breakfast Saturday and Sunday, and lunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday.
Creating simple cocktails with complex flavors is the idea behind Oberon Grill’s classic bar drinks. Top quality spirits from around the world complement their West Coast selection of wines.
Upstairs, Oberon Grill’s Ruby Room is available for private parties. With seating for 15 to 35, the Ruby Room offers quiet dining overlooking the main dining floor.
Pachanga Mexicana
Mexican Style Casual Dining
Pachanga is locally owned and has been preparing Mexican food in Eureka since 1999. We use very little canned or pre-packaged food, and make both fresh fl our tortillas and fresh corn tortillas every day in the front of our kitchen, where you are invited to watch. When seasons permit we get many of our locally grown organic vegetables from local farmers. Our chile peppers and chile rellenos don’t come from a frozen box or a can. They are prepared using fresh chiles in our kitchen.
We take orders to go, and can cater events both large and small. A Banquet Room for parties, luncheons, meetings, and other special gatherings is available for reservation. We hope to see you in our family owned, family friendly restaurant soon!
CELEBRATING 23 YEARS!
Pizza with a New York Attitude
At Paul’s Live from New York, you can experience traditional East Coast pizza right here behind the Redwood Curtain. It has been savored by people up and down the West Coast, and for good reason. We’ve even been featured in “All Things New York” (season 19, episode 2) of Guy Fieri’s “Diners, Drive-Ins & Dives.” Our recipes have been handed down for generations to create an unforgettable experience when you indulge in our slice of heaven.
Though it may begin with our pizza, it does not end there. Our pizzas and dinners are homemade with only the freshest ingredients, and baked in a brick oven. Our marinara sauce is made according to a recipe from back in Palermo, Sicily, and will continue to please our patrons for generations to come.
We make everyone feel like a part of our family when dining at Paul’s Live from New York, and take pride in giving our customers the best experience possible upon walking through our door.
