A Message from the Resort Manager Island greetings from paradise! It is with great pleasure I bring you another Destination newsletter from the beautiful Hyatt Hacienda del Mar, a Hyatt Residence Club Resort. The Hyatt Hacienda del Mar team has had a very successful start to 2016, while continuous enhancements are being implemented at your home away from home. Here at Hyatt Hacienda del Mar we know that the small things go a long way. Therefore, upon arrival, you will enjoy a nice, cold welcome beverage followed by a cold icy pop on the pool deck for you and the kids when you are enjoying the sun. Many additional activities have been added for you to enjoy!
The pool area upgrade is the next project on the list and we are on schedule to have the new furniture on the pool deck upon your next arrival. Once the new pool furniture arrives, we will be relocating the current pool chaise lounges on the beach area to increase the overall seating for our owners and guests. Our guests and owners have already experienced many enhancements during recent on-site visits and our survey ratings have also increased tremendously. I am excited to have the opportunity to meet you during your next visit either at the weekly owner’s meeting, or any time during your stay as my office is always open to you. Congratulations to our re-sales team as they have been very productive over the past few months. We are excited to welcome all of our new owners to the Hyatt Hacienda del Mar family. Board Update
Greetings my fellow owners at Hyatt Hacienda del Mar, Last time we checked in, I shared news that the interiors of all the units had been updated with new furnishings and our Lobby—the first impression as you enter—has been given a complete makeover. Feedback has been great, and we continued to see this project as one of the most successful we have committed to in many years. Along with that, we have just approved the replacement of all the pool furniture outside. We will see both an increase in the amount of seating and areas with shade. Overall, this will bring significant value to all our owners and visitors as we enter the summer vacation months. It is re-investments like these, and others we have made over time, that continue to make Hyatt Hacienda del Mar one of the best vacation spots in the network and on the island. With all the re-investments we have made in the last 12 months, a recommendation was made to perform a Reserve Study to verify the health of our reserve fund and financial stability. The importance of this is to verify that we collectively can continue to self-fund our projects and maintain our investment while minimizing, and even avoiding, special assessments. Both having and managing a reserve are part of a sound financial management process and best practice. We approved the study and look forward to the results...more to follow on this note.
