The most common mental health disorder in Britain is a mixture of anxiety and depression with 7.8% of people diagnosed. So what can you do to help keep your mind and mental wellbeing above board? The peace nature offers can improve your mind-set and thought patterns and give you the ability to focus. The outdoors is also known to heighten your creativity leading to positive thought. Guided meditation has many health benefits; it is thought that guided meditation can improve anxiety levels by 60%. Meditation is also thought to help insomnia suffers reduce their wake time by a huge 50%. Take up a new hobby

Taking up a new hobby can help your mental wellbeing, not only will a new hobby take your focus away from the negative feelings and give you something to focus on but also meeting new people with a shared interest can help socially and mentally. Social isolation is a leading cause of some mental health issues normally affecting the older generation but it can cause anyone a negative impact on their mental health if they are isolated from human interaction.
