S
o I met up with my colleague Eileen one wet Friday evening in September, to review a recently refurbished Poppy’s Tudor Restaurant. Aptly named I thought, as Eileen recently became a grandmother to a beautiful baby girl called Poppy!
We approached the entrance after a rather romantic walk in the rain, where of course I was a true gentleman holding the floral umbrella. We were greeted with a warm welcome by the front of house staff, which instantly put us both at ease. The atmosphere was relaxed, and the refurbishment was done well, with a very traditional and classy feel to it all. We were escorted to our table and handed the a la carte menus. Not being heavy drinkers, we ordered soft drinks, however there was an extensive menu of alcoholic choices from local real ales to a selection of wines.
Shortly after, the proprietor and chef David Atkinson came over and handed us the specials menu. David came across as very passionate about two things – his food and formula one (a man after my own heart) He is currently in the process of converting an upstairs room into an F1 memorabilia room, which will soon be showing F1 races – will have to pay a visit just to experience that. Back to the food – we chose off the specials menu – Eileen opted for the Sicillian chicken liver pate, which came with olive ciabatta and mixed pine nut salad. I went for the soup of the day – Tomato, pepper and basil pesto, with Italian bread. For mains we both opted for the Cheese and garlic soufflé with sauté potatoes, summer vegetables and a leaf salad. As we waited for our starters, the waitress brought us some canopies for us to nibble on, which went down a treat. It wasn’t long before the starters came out. Eileen’s face lit up when she saw the pate, and how it was presented –definitely met with Eileen’s approval. The texture of the pate was superb, not too fine and the ciabatta accompanied it well. My soup was full of flavour, tangy and warming – just what I needed. Overall both starters were top class, with regular moans of appreciation from both of us as –
Poppy's Review_Double Page Editorial 17/09/2013 16:10 Page 2
this only heightened the anticipation for the main course!
Again we didn’t have to wait long – very impressed with the service here I must say. The soufflé looked AMAZING and the side dishes were presented nicely. Creative freshly prepared food with traditional ideas modernized for today's palettes. We tucked straight in, being careful as it was very warm. The verdict- In young people’s text talk - OMG! The flavours oozing from this dish were just too good. The garlic wasn’t overpowering and the dish was light and airy – just how a soufflé should be I hear! The potatoes weren’t overdone and the vegetables were cooked just right, and still had a crunch to them. Both Eileen and I had empty plates at the end of it, which is a great sign of a happy customer.
We were full to the brim, so decided on sharing a dessert. We were recommended one of David’s new creations – Gluten free chocolate torte, with raspberry coulis and fresh cream. We opted for one between us, coupled with a coffee each. I’m not over exaggerating when I say, it was one of the best things I have ever had the pleasure of devouring. It was smooth, chocolaty, light, crunchy, nutty and fresh all at the same time. It tingled taste buds that I never even knew I had – an absolutely perfect end to a perfect night. David is a perfectionist, and this comes across in his food. Poppy’s is a hidden gem on Milk Street in Shrewsbury which you all need to try – I promise you that you won’t be disappointed. Prior to David taking over, Poppy’s was reviewed 3 years ago by the late celebrity food critic Michael Winner, and the experience for him wasn’t that great. Under David’s ownership Poppy’s has now built a good reputation and i am confident that if Michael Winner was still with us, he would of have changed his opinion by the end of the night. 8 Milk Street Shrewsbury SY1 1SZ

It’s 31st October, Halloween is upon us! Witches and ghouls are prowling the streets, terrifying the neighbourhood for treats. The last thing any of us want is unhappy supernaturals at our doors, so be prepared to send them away cackling with joy! Kids love Halloween, dressing up and scaring each other, plus a huge bag of goodies to eat, what more could they want? Here is one simple ghoulish treat that the kids can have fun preparing with you to hand out to all the little terrors that come knocking.
CANDY EYEBALLS
Lolly pops – Round White Chocolate (200g for each 10 lollies) Bag of Smarties Icing pens for decoration
Using a bag or tub of kids lolly pops for treats is standard, so why not give them a twist? Take a large bar of white chocolate (around 200g for 10) and melt it in a bowl over some hot water. Dip each lolly giving it a good coating and then place a smartie on it, whilst it is still sticky, to make the eye colour. Let them cool in the fridge until hard. Take the icing pens and do a black dot on the smartie, for the pupil and some red veins around the sides. Use a small pumpkin to make a stand for them, by cutting it in half, scooping out the middle and then poke the sticks in to stand the eyes in.

Birthday bash for Birmingham’s military spectacular will bring international performers to the NIA
Britain’s biggest indoor military tattoo, with over 1,200 performers, will celebrate its silver anniversary this year by bringing together marching bands, gymnasts, dog display teams, field gun and many other performers to the NIA in Birmingham. They will all join forces for this year’s 25th Birmingham International Tattoo on Saturday 30th November at 6pm and Sunday 1st December at 2pm.
For this year’s special event, the organisers have brought together military bands from Norway, Belgium, Slovenia and nearer to home our own forces including the Royal Air Force. Representing Norway will be the world famous Band and Drill Contingent of the King’s Guard, joining them will be the Royal Band of the Belgium Navy and the Slovenian Services Band, both well known for their marching displays across Europe. Nearer to home the Royal Air Force Band will demonstrate their musical skills in this special year
which also marks the 70th Anniversary of the RAF Association. Representing the youth of the UK will be the Air Training Corps National Band and the National Youth Marching Band.
Complementing the music of the massed bands will be the thrills of the exciting displays including the Inter-Service Field Gun Competition which will prove how both sheer strength and agility are needed to control the heavy guns as they carry on a tradition that draws its origins from the Siege of Ladysmith during the Boer War. With one of the largest gatherings of Massed Standard Bearers from the Royal British Legion and other organizations plus the popular dog display and the Blue Falcons gymnastics display also taking part, there is something for all the family at the three hour event. The Tattoo will culminate in a Spectacular Grand Finale featuring all performers in a spectacle of light and sound. They will be
joined by the British Tenor Tim Pitman and the UK’s new singing sensation Rebecca Robinson in the special 25th anniversary finale. The event would not be complete without the ever-popular Closing Ceremony which will feature the Royal Air Force Cosford Queen’s Colour and Escort, the traditional Land of Hope and Glory, the Evening Hymn, the Lone Piper and some special surprises.
Birmingham Tattoo Producer Norman Rogerson MBE said: “This year’s line-up is one of the very best in our 25 year history and we are really looking forward to a full three hour show with something for all the family.”
Tickets are priced between £14.50 and £25.00 plus admin and fulfilment fees and are available online at www.theticketfactory.com or by calling 0844 338 8000. Reduced prices are available for children, senior citizens and groups of 10 or more.

ollowing his highly anticipated set on Glastonbury’s Main Stage this year; PROFESSOR GREEN has announced a massive headline tour for November culminating with a show at London’s Hammersmith Apollo.
F
Firmly established as one of the crossover superstars of British music who has always remained true to his roots in rap, PROFESSOR GREEN builds on a career which has spawned two Top 3 albums and eight consecutive Top 40 singles – including the massive hits ‘Read All About It’ (#1), ‘I Need You Tonight’ (#3) and ‘Just Be Good To Green’ (#5) – with the release of the brand new single ‘ARE YOU
GETTING ENOUGH?’ back in July through Virgin EMI Records.
Featuring vocals from Last Shadow Puppet and solo singer-songwriter Miles Kane, ‘ARE YOU GETTING ENOUGH?’ is the first single to be taken from PROFESSOR GREEN’S third album ‘GROWING UP IN PUBLIC’ which will be released on OCTOBER 14TH. The new releases look set to add another incredible chapter to Pro’s all-conquering career which has already accumulated 500,000 album and 1.75 million single sales in the UK alone.
Few artists achieve the rare distinction of achieving huge commercial success while maintaining their credibility. Yet Green has managed precisely that. His collabora-
tions with artists as varied as Emeli Sandé, Lily Allen, Example, Labrinth, The Streets, and Wretch 32 demonstrate the respect that his contemporaries hold him in. He has also been nominated for a plethora of awards including the Brits ‘Best Male’ plus earned Best Dancefloor Filler at the NME Awards for his track ‘Jungle’ as well as a MOBO Award for Best Hip-hop/Grime Act. Renowned for the energy of his live sets, Professor Green’s new tour follows his run of massive headline dates last year which included a sold out show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton. You can catch Professor Green at the 02 Academy in Birmingham on Thursday 14th November.

NO HYPE REQUIRED
Jenny: Let’s start off with talking about the incredible success of your debut album, ‘Bad Blood’. It’s currently one of the biggest selling albums of the year; has been certified Gold and went in straight at #1 on release. Plus, nearly 3 months since it’s 4th March release, it is still top 15 on the official album chart. How do you begin to react to this success?
Dan: It’s back in the top 10 today which is nuts!! Since we released the album we've been lucky to have been pretty constantly busy and distracted. We've been touring pretty much non stop this year and so we haven't really had much time to stop and take stock of it which I think is probably a good thing. We've obviously massively happy about it. It was such a weird surprise, and it continues to be one, but having stopped and acknowledged that it was an awesome thing to have happened to us, it's probably best to move on and get on with it. Most of the stuff we're doing now we had planned long before the album came out anyway, we're just lucky to be doing it now with an album that a bunch of people have listened to.
J: Did you do anything in particular to celebrate? D: The day that we found out we were number 1 we were playing a gig in Leeds, which is where Kyle and I both went to Uni, so it felt like a bit of a homecoming gig which was fun. The tour that we were on at the time, and the European tour all sold out before ‘Pompeii’ did what it did anyway, so we’ve been quite nicely sheltered over the past couple of months playing to preexisting fans. I guess we’ve only just started playing festivals, playing to people who only know a couple of songs. To celebrate
– we went to that gig which was really fun and then literally had to get offstage, get on the tour bus and drive overnight back to London to jump on a plane and go to SXSW in America. It was very humbling going from our gig in Leeds and our tour with our crew and the comfort of that straight to America, where we'd never played before and where no one has any idea who we are. Our gigs at SXSW were pretty ad hoc - we borrowed gear and didn't get sound checks and had to run onstage to play little gigs in pubs - which is exactly the way we started out a couple of years ago. It was quite nice for us – it kind of feels like at no point have we allowed ourselves to step back and pat ourselves on the back… as a band we’re not particularly smug or big headed which is exactly how we would want it.
J: I don’t know whether you’ve seen but Spotify now shows how many times a particular track has been listened to. Pompeii alone has been streamed over 19 million times - when you penned this track, did you have any sort of inkling that you were onto something golden? D: (Surprised) No! Not at all, I had absolutely no idea! It’s so strange. I wrote the whole album in my bedroom and was just writing songs that I wanted to work on and enjoy making, and was just, sort of, messing around. It was all very much for fun, and when I was writing Pompeii… I’m really drawn to songs that… I love a good chorus. When I feel like I’ve written a good one I get really excited and I really enjoy finishing off a song and recording the rest of it. As a lot of it is done in my room there’s a lot of layering of vocals and just trying out different sounds on the computer. It’s so strange that it seems to have struck a chord
Bastille Editorial_Double Page Editorial 17/09/2013 16:24 Page 2
with people and taken on a life of it’s own, it’s not something we ever really predicted or thought would have happened. It’s really bizarre, and we're constantly amazed at the fact people in other countries seems to be into the song as well. It's taken on a bit of a life of its own.
J: I watched your performance of that track at BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend and I don’t think there was a single person within the tent that wasn’t singing along. D: It’s so nuts! The thing is, we've always been lucky to have a good live following. Our live and online following have always grown together and I think we’ve been lucky as our tours have always – particularly recently – have sold out and the crowds have always been really attentive and seem to known every word which is massively gratifying. It's interesting playing at festivals where it’s a bit of a different ball game. At your own gig you can accept that everyone there probably likes your music and are there because they want to hear you but playing at a festival… I’ve been to so many festivals before and as well as the bands that I love, I’ll also check out the bands I haven't made my mind up about yet. It’s very much about playing to not necessarily your own audience, which is why it’s always so great if people come! And when there are people in the crowd, and when people know one of the songs it’s great. Before Pompeii came out we kind of had it with Flaws – that was the one song that everyone seemed to really know and it was always a point in the set where we could grab people with that song, now we have that with Pompeii and it’s such a nice feeling obviously. Just for me, having made the song on my laptop to go from that to then having a couple of thousand people singing a long to it… it’s very surreal!
part of Mexican food is the hot sauces, and eating at loads of mexican places round the country we've found loads of awesome novelty hot sauces. With band merchandise I think you can be as creative as you want… we'd joked about it and it was one of those weird things that suddenly went from a joke to a reality. Now it exists, which is completely nuts. It was fun tasting all the different sauces and deciding how spicy we wanted it to be. We had to be reined in a little bit so we didn't make it completely face numbing. I loved helping with the label design as well, we just wanted to take the piss out of ourselves a bit. Who knows? Maybe we’ll branch off into more flavours. Our biggest dream when, if the band falls apart, but even if it doesn’t, was to open ‘Bastille’s Burritos’ – it’s my dream to stand behind a Burrito stand and make Burritos all day for other people.
J: Whilst we’re on the subject of massive shows, what was it like supporting Muse? D: Oh man it was crazy!! It was really fun. Again, we feel so lucky at the moment – we’re doing things – particularly, me, I’m such a pessimist that I never imagined we would do ever, and just… being in a stadium isn’t something people get to do that often, let alone standing on a stage and playing in one! I was terrified, but we’ve done two and we’ve got two more to go and we’re having such a good time. The Muse guys have been so nice to us and it’s just quite fun to be involved in the line-up with them and Dizzee Rascal.
J: You could get a van, then in the summer tour festivals – so even if you’re not playing you can still go! D: Yes – that’s the dream! Maybe one day if I’m lucky I might be able to do that. It’s all a part of my weird Mexican obsession. When we hatched our plan for ‘Bastille’s Burritos’ that was kind of slightly before the days where now every single high street had a Burritos shop on it, I think we’ve kind of been edged our of the market a little bit.
J:You recently revealed on Twitter (@BASTILLEdan) that you’re undertaking a new venture, that of Bastille Hot Sauce…. How did that idea come about? D: As a band we are all a bit obsessed with Mexican food, to the point where when we're on tour, as soon as we get to a new town we generally seek out a burrito place straight away. A big
J: Now it may be hard to believe but this time last year you were playing venues such as Southampton Joiners and Birmingham’s Rainbow. You recently put on a headline tour for Autumn which includes two nights at London’s Brixton Academy which sold out in a few hours. How does it feel that so many people want to come and see you live? D: (Jokingly) I don’t know what’s wrong with everyone. It’s very weird, very surreal. Like I said before, we’re very happily busy at the moment to the point where some of the slightly unbelievable things have happened can be appreciated but we don't
J: Do you think you’ve caught the Stadium bug then? D: No, not at all! Definitely not. We’re used to playing smaller shows and have been lucky enough to see the venues we play grow slightly over the last couple of years. We’re constantly adjusting, so to suddenly be put in a stadium is far beyond where we’re at and where we’ll probably ever get to. We’re seeing it as really fun, weird, surreal novelty experience.
J: At least you know the demand is there. D: Exactly, let’s just hope that everyone else’s Mexican craze is as enduring as ours is!
Bastille Editorial_Double Page Editorial 17/09/2013 16:24 Page 3
did for fun, and a nice excuse for us to geek out and mess around with production and sounds and massively nod towards films that we love. If we had the time we would probably be doing about 4 a year!
J: As a self-confessed ‘New Music Geek’, any UK artists you’ve loving at the moment? D: They’re not from the UK but I love Haim. AlunaGeorge are awesome. Josh Record has a great sound. There's a singer called Jay Brown who has a brilliant new EP coming out soon. There’s also a guy called Rag 'n Bone who has this incredible, incredible bluesy voice. I hope he does really well over the next couple of years. To Kill A King, I’m a massive fan of them, they’re brilliant and I think they’re working on new stuff at the moment, which is exciting.
really think about them too much. There doesn't seem to be a huge point in dwelling on stuff. We’re so excited about the tour, we’ve worked really really hard on the live side of things over the last couple of years – we’ve gigged and toured quite relentlessly and so it’s quite gratifying to feel it grow. In my mind I thought maybe playing somewhere like Shepherd’s Bush Empire would be the pinnacle of everything we did for this album, so to play two nights at Shepherds Bush Empire, and then to go on and play two Brixton’s is just way beyond anything that we ever expected. We played Brixton Academy with Two Door Cinema Club in February and at the time we were like ‘This is so huge!’ and if we ever get to play here it’ll be in 5 years time. It’s so exciting for us, and we’re just really keen to put on a good show. We're trying to think of ways to incorporate visuals and just keep the show exciting and evolving so that people who have seen us before get something different out of it if they come again to another tour. We’re in an incredibly lucky position getting to do what we love for our job and little challenges like trying to put on a better show aren't bad ones to have. The fact that the shows sold out so quickly is… totally insane. J: Have you got any current plans for Other People’s Heartache pt. 3? D: We keep talking about it and I would LOVE to make one. My ambition was to release one every Christmas so that’s kind of what we’re working towards but to be honest… looking ahead at our year we don't seem to have any days off so it might be tricky getting it done in time. At the moment, it’s a bit of a challenge trying to find time off to record for the mixtape whilst also trying to write and record a new proper album at the same time. I very very much hope it’ll happen but it might be in a slightly different form than the last ones. Also, last year we were able to make them very much under the radar so we kind of got away with using whatever samples and songs we wanted, but because we're doing a little bit better this year we might struggle to nick stuff quite so liberally. We might have to go down the slightly more legalized route of actually clearing quotes and covers and things like that! The mix tapes were always just something we
J: Your new single ‘Laura Palmer’ is being released this weekend. Laura Palmer has been quite integral to the band - it was the title track to your first EP and the character from Twin Peaks has been quite an influence. Can you tell us a bit about the track for those who may not know the history behind the character? D: I’m obsessed with a film director called David Lynch, and he, back in the 90s, did this TV show called Twin Peaks. Laura Palmer was the main character, but the series starts with her having been murdered. She's positioned as this idealized, perfect character but as the series, and investigation progresses, her secrets and the hidden parts of her life are unpicked. David Lynch is very good at presenting everyday situations and making them quite weird and surreal and Twin Peaks is a lot darker than people might think. It was way before my time but I found it on DVD and watched the whole show, it just really grabbed me. It's funny and very strange, and as an idea I think it was such interesting way to present a character, to have her kind of unraveled after she has died. It sounds really morbid, but it’s so iconic. Not really for our generation, but she’s just a very iconic popular culture figure. I wrote the song while I'd been watching loads of the show, and Laura Palmer seemed to embody the idea in my mind of running away from problems. The song is basically a massive nod to the character and to Lynch.
J: What are your plans for rest of the year and beyond? D: This year… loads of festivals, quite a bit of traveling, the tour in UK and Europe, touring America, hopefully finishing writing and recording another album, another Other People’s Heartache. Should be a busy year! We’re really excited. The most important thing for me will be to try and find time to make new songs. Promoting and touring the same stuff over and over you could potentially loose sight of the normality of sitting around making songs, so hopefully we can try and retain a bit of that as well. by Jenny Entwistle
After appearing at festivals across the UK this summer, Bastille also have a full headline tour this Autumn: You can catch the lads from Bastille at the O2 Academy in Birmingham on the 3rd November.

Micky Flanagan Editorial_Double Page Editorial 16/09/2013 12:22 Page 1
F
ame for Micky Flanagan is not fast cars or big houses. It is a sausage sandwich. The Cockney comedian likes nothing better than having a quiet moment in his kitchen making a sandwich. "That's the kind of thing that is an adventure to me these days," he smiles. It certainly makes a change from playing sold out shows, which is what he is spending most of 2013 doing on his biggest tour yet, entitled Back In The Game. Flanagan turned fifty last October but shows no signs of slowing down. His tour puts him firmly in comedy's premier league alongside the likes of Michael McIntyre and John Bishop, but fame brings about all sorts of changes, as the genial gagsmith jokes: "You can't nick things any more. These are the problems of being successful. A sandwich here, a chocolate bar there. Apparently crime and success don't go hand in hand!"
He says that hitting the big 50 didn’t really worry him: "Someone suggested I should lie about my age. If I was a film star or a pop star maybe, but comedians are supposed to tell the truth. Frankie Boyle says you can't be a stand-up after forty. On the other hand Bob Monkhouse once said you can't be funny until you are over forty. So how much time does that leave you to be funny? About a year." Flanagan's challenge with Back In The Game was coming up with material to match previous classic routines, such as his famous "out out" story, where you pop out for a quick drink and end up in a club still wearing your slippers. If his last show was all about his life up to becoming a comedian via Billingsgate market, living in America – "where I was an international lover and player" – and doing a City University degree in Social Science, Back In The Game is about where he is now. And where he is now is living in Dulwich, south London with his wife Cathy and six-year-old son Max. We are chatting in his bright study, surrounded by comedy books by his peers such as Russell Brand
Micky Flanagan Editorial_Double Page Editorial 16/09/2013 12:22 Page 2
and, no relation, Jo Brand. Flanagan claims that all the really exciting things happen when you are young. Yet his meteoric rise from comedy club to arena superstardom in a handful of years disproves the rule: "By the time my dad was 26 he had kids, a council flat and a job on the docks. His life was more or less done. When I was 36 I was still looking around for opportunities."
He found that opportunity when he was in the audience at a comedy show. It was seeing Billy Connolly that made him think he could have a go. "I love Harry Hill's surrealism and Chris Rock's ability to say the unsayable but I could never do that. But I thought I could tell stories like Billy Connolly." He started doing stand-up in his mid-thirties and initially combined comedy gigs with a job as a painter and decorator. "For about two years I'd be travelling to gigs with a bottle of white spirit in my bag so that I could clean the paint off my hands. Eventually I was doing gigs every weekend and another comedian said to me, 'if you don't quit your day job you won't enjoy either. Just take the rest of the week off like the rest of us.' At first it felt like I'd won the pools getting up on a Monday and not having to work again until Thursday!" The new show is about the small things in life: "The centrepiece is about me making a sausage sandwich. My life has slowed down to such a point if my wife goes out for the day that's how I create excitement. I also talk about the two off licenses in my life – the one I go to normally and the one I pop into for the second bottle of wine. Things like that. So all these little details I'm pulling in to say to 'this is where I'm at."
Although he is clearly devoted to the craft of comedy, Flanagan does not want to analyse his success: "I was very happy where I was being a circuit comic, I didn't have a plan. All I wanted to do was avoid having a badly paid 9 - 5 job." But the country loves him and so does television. So much so that last year when he had planned to take a break he ended up doing so many panel shows that he felt he could not turn the television on without seeing his face. "I was starting to think I'd have to watch foreign TV to avoid myself!" For Flanagan the future is currently all about stand-up. There is talk of a sitcom at some point if he can find the time. He is also writing his autobiography. He is proud of his Cockney roots and never tries to hide them onstage. At first when
he started performing outside London he was anxious that this might be a problem, but his pin-sharp observational humour won everyone over: "We were concerned about the Lowry in Salford on the last tour, whether anyone would turn up, but we ended up selling five nights. They seemed to accept me as one of them even though I'm clearly from a council estate in London." Gigging in the Midlands holds fond memories. "I've always done really well there. One of my favourite places to play is Birmingham where the audiences are really appreciative. Warwick is fantastic and in Nottingham they just accept you. They aren't bothered about you being a Londoner as long as you are funny. Although when I play Newcastle I do wonder if they think anyone from the south of England is a Cockney."
He has always enjoyed performing in Scotland, where he picked up an Edinburgh Comedy Award nomination for Best Newcomer in 2007. "I thought that might be the last place they would like me, but they came on board quite quickly. Their perception of London is often through TV and things like Del Boy, so when I do my Cockney walk they find that very funny. Flanagan has concluded that the sense of humour in the United Kingdom is pretty similar everywhere. "The idea of people in Derbyshire or Lancaster being different to Londoners is all in your head. Everyone knows what a car is, everyone has heard of the internet, the world now is very small."
Anyone who is married or a parent will relate to his stories about his wife and son, although he has to be a little tactful about how he uses them: "If I am going to talk about my son I ask him first. He has got to go to school and he is getting to the point where he will see me on The One Show and he'll go 'why did you say that?' So I make it more general and rather than say it is specifically about him I say something like 'children take so long getting ready is there any point leaving the house?'" "I imagine in a few years he'll use it as a negotiating tactic," he continues. "I'll only be allowed to make jokes about him if he gets a new bike." There is a similar situation with his wife. "I won't say 'my wife...' I say 'isn't it funny that as you get older a dirty weekend turns into a very restful break...' He is a little less discreet when it comes to talking about his 82-year-old father onstage: "My dad was evacuated in the war, not that you'd
know. Sometimes he goes six or seven minutes without mentioning it..."
Flanagan speaks as if his success is an accident, but it is really all down to hard work and talent. Yet he is typically modest about making audiences everywhere laugh their socks off: "I can make no sense of it except that we took a few risks and they seemed to pay off. There are only two things to keep in my mind. I'm enjoying it and the audience is enjoying it. If we can keep those things bubbling along for a while that would be great." With that he gets up from the sofa. Presumably to make a sausage sandwich. Micky Flanagan is on tour until November 23rd. See www.mickyflanagan.com for details.

What made you want to tour? I never had the desire before to tour by myself, Djing here and there was cool, but I never had the desire to tour outside of the Peas. But this project and especially the success in my solo project, I think it was an obligation and a new desire. It’s a new excitement to wanna do that. I’m really happy about it.
What is your vision for the tour? I just want to represent the songs and display them in a way that excites the audience and allow them to escape whatever it is that they’ve been doing, for two hours and have something that brings people together and bring joy. I know that sounds corny “I wanna bring joy to people!” Have you got any surprises for them? Yeah I got some surprises, I gotta keep them surprisable!
What are you looking forward to most about the tour? I’m just looking forward to just going out there and performing for the first time, with people there to see Willpower and I’m not sharing the stage with a big act, just giving my all in this show to just feel good in the moment. Yeah I got some surprises, I gotta keep them surprisable! Will there be special guests? Yeah, but I’mma have to keep it a surprise for now.
Who would be your ideal special guest you haven’t worked with so far? My ideal special guest? Yeah. Jimmy Hendrix! (Laughs) Anyone in the land of the living? Prince.
Fingers crossed for that then! Yeah but I’m trying to be realistic. He’s not gonna be an obvious one. Might you be asking Cheryl to pop up for a little bit? I have to keep that a secret.
Last time I was this excited about a project was when in the Black Eyed Peas and we were like, We’re gonna do a dance album
‘‘
’’
How have things with Leah (from the Voice) been going since then? Wohoo! Now let’s talk something exciting! Last time I was this excited about a project was when in the Black Eyed Peas and we were like, “We’re gonna do a dance album”. People were like “What?” and I was like “Yeah! We’re collaborating with David Guetta!” People were like “whose David Guetta?” He did all that like, electro, this is before we were on top 40 radio everywhere. It’s the same excitement now! What stage are you at with recording with Leah? We’re about 80 finished.
How would you describe the type of music? Is it possible to sum it up? I would say wonderful layers of sonic euphoria (Laughs) How about that one? It’s great stuff. It’s experimental, there’s a lot of fusion, pop fusion with layers, and her voice is just spectacular.
What excites you at the moment? Leah’s project, I’m finishing up with Britney. And that’s about it right now. Thanks Will, it’s been great speaking with you.

N
ow for those who have not seen the show, The Walking Dead is based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, which tells the story of the months and years that follow after a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes (played by British actor Andrew Lincoln), who travel in search of a safe and secure home. The comic goes on to explore the challenges of life in a world overrun by zombies who take a toll on the survivors, and sometimes the interpersonal conflicts present a greater danger to their continuing survival than the zombies that roam the country. Over time, the characters are changed by the constant exposure to death and some grow willing to do anything to survive.
The Walking Dead all began in January 2010, When AMC officially announced that it had ordered a pilot for a possible series adapted from The Walking Dead comic book series, with Frank Darabont and Gale Anne Hurd acting as executive producers with Darabont writing and directing. The entire series was pre-ordered based just on the strength of the source material, the television scripts, and Darabont's involvement. In the same month a review of the pilot episode's script attracted further attention. The pilot began filming in Atlanta, Georgia on May 15 2010 after AMC had officially ordered a six episode first season. The series' remaining episodes began filming on June 2, 2010. With the shock finale of season 3 still fresh in the minds, fans of the show will be glad to know that AMC have already starting production on season
Walking Dead Edit_Double Page Editorial 16/09/2013 15:09 Page 2
4, with the season premier being aired in October 2013.
Speaking after the end of series 3, Robert Kirkman gave a bit of insight into what will be installed for Rick and the group.
"We'll see a very different Rick Grimes for one. His experiences against the Governor and with the various things that happened to him in season 3 are transforming his character in huge ways."
"We've seen Maggie (Lauren Cohan) take a more central role [in season 3], and that will continue. Michonne is a huge character that's going to be a lot more active in Season 4. We've also got the new character of Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green), Tyreese's sister."
"We always had a plan for [The Governor]. We always knew that it was a bigger story than would fit into one season. There's still a lot more to be done with this guy." "We'll see a lot of familiar elements from season 3: We'll see the prison, Rick and his group are still in the same place but those elements are all going to be radically different. I can't really get into it but season 4 is going to be extremely different than season 3 in some very startling and cool ways." With the death of several leading characters in season 3 and the survival of ‘The Governor’, I’m sure season 4 will be just as shocking and gruesome as the previous series.

True Blood’s Sookie Sackhouse - A waitress from Bon Temps may not be the scariest of the supernaturals, but never under estimate an angry fairy! When the s**t hits the fan Sookie sure makes sparks fly.

Resident Evil, Alice Parks - When it comes to fighting zombies there are not many sexier than anti-Umbrella resistance fighter Alice. After being experimented on with the t-virus, not only did she gain superhuman strength but she gained the ability to look good in a dress and huge boots! But hey, give her a latex suit and a buckled corset and she still kicks ass! No wonder zombies cant leave her alone!
True Blood’s Alcide - Boy it’s hotter than a Poppa bears porridge in Bon Temps, especially when Werewolf pack master Alcide is around! You could fry an egg on that six pack. Puppy eyes too, i’m melting!!! Twilight’s Edward Cullen - Moody and cold, yet smouldering like the coals on a sunday barbeque. He thinks he’s a bit of a monster, but how wrong can a vampire be! He sparkles like your favorite nail polish and one look in those hypnotising eyes is enough to have you screaming “bite me!”

Twilight’s Bella Swan - A relatively new supe, Bella is one of the quieter, less selfconfident vampires. She is blossoming into a sexy little vamp though and i’m sure as time goes by she will glisten in the sunlight!
Sexy Supern Halloween
Dexter Morgan - He isn’t a supernatural being, but he is definately dark and mysterious . There is something about Dexter, is it his geekyness? or maybe that he is a ‘nice’ guy? Or is it that he is a serial killer who only kills bad guys! The thought of being wrapped in plastic and tied to a table by him could be quite erotic, if he wasn’t going to chop you into pieces!

True Blood’s Jessica Hamby - She started out as a good little christian girl but after being turned, she became a real handful! As redheads go, they don’t come much sexier than Jess. She rarely has to bother glamouring to get her way!!
upernaturals
een Hunks The Walking Dead’s Rick Grimes - This small town sheriff’s deputy is one mean mutha when it comes to slaying zombies. Rick is as cool as a cucumber and there is definately something about a man in uniform! Mind you he looks good in a pair of jeans and covered in zombie guts and that’s not an easy look to pull off!

9/10
Underworld’s Selene - When it comes to vampires, its the LAW that they have to look good in leather and PVC. Selene isn’t ever going to struggle with this. She would look sexy in a bin liner! She is not just a pretty face though, so it’s probably best to stay on her good side. She deals with werewolfs like they are Chihuahuas. She looks pretty hot for a 600 year old Death Dealer! Oil of Olay maybe??
9/10
Catwoman - Batman’s nemisis has been portrayed by some of the hottest women in Hollywood, Michelle Pfeiffer, Halle Berry and now Anne Hathaway is the latest to don the black PVC suit, and she looks puurfect! Like all of the catwoman litter - shes no pussy, Meeoooww!! True Blood’s Eric Northman, my personal favorite, this 6ft 5in hunk of Swedish meatball has got to be the sexiest vampire around. The fact that we get to see ‘alot’ of Eric is a bonus! That peachy little butt has made my day on many occasions. Drain me dry and turn me so I can watch him forever!
Twilights Jacob Black, he’s dark and extremely handsome. No wonder Bella struggles to decide between him and Edward. If this is the standard of her cast off’s then I think we would be happy to step in and take his mind off her, I for one wouldn’t mind licking his wounds for him!

LAZY Y N N I SK MODERATION IS THE KEY
You can't go on the Internet anymore without learning of a new diet tip to make us lose five pounds in five minutes and three dress sizes by the weekend! And then you get ‘those’ women who always appear healthy and thin while never seeming to do any of these, or even dieting at all! To find out how these lucky “Skinny Women” do it, here are some easy lifestyle choices that you will make to feel healthy and look great.
# Don't DEPRIVE yourself of your favorite treats, remember everything in moderation. No single food makes you gain weight, it’s how much of it we eat.
# Eat until your satisfied, not until you are FULL to bursting! Just being aware of each mouthful and eating slowly helps you realize when to stop eating, and avoid you feeling bloated.
# VEG OUT! Fill your plate with veggies Vegetables are filled with fibre and water so they fill you without fattening you up. Nobody ever got fat from eating veg!
# Dining out, order SMALL – If you want to be smaller, order that way, choose smaller mains, soups or frozen yogurts for dessert.
# Know Yourself - If you KNOW you can't control yourself when it comes to snacking foods like chips, nuts, crisps & chocolate etc, then make sure you buy single serve portions, such as handheld fruit or nuts etc. # Your starter for 10 (size 10 that is!) - Order a salad or soup to start a meal when you dine out, they help to fill you up with low calories and leave less room for the main course and more importantly, dessert! # Skip the BREAD basket - Avoid all those carbs!
# Leave some food on your plate when dining out - portions are normally double what they need to be, so you can eat what you like, just not ALL of it!
# Stay HYDRATED - We get confused between hunger and thirst. Aim for eight glasses of water a day, for a twist, add lemon, lime, orange and fresh mint with some ice cubes, for a flavour and vitamin boost. # Breakfast like a KING - Don't starve yourself all day and then pig out all night. Eat a good healthy breakfast, and a decent sized lunch during the day, the night time grazing will lessen. # Don't munch in front of the TV If you are hungry, reach for fibre rich snacks that fill you up on less calories like popcorn, fruit, trail mix etc.
# Choose WHOLE grains and not the white stuff - Whole grains keep you full for longer and help maintain your blood sugar levels. White flour quickly converts to sugar in your body, which will store as fat if not burned up. # Eat Breakfast - Breakfast gets our metabolism working and helps stop us gorging ourselves at night.
# Be active! Aim for at least 3 hours a week - Even if it means setting the alarm earlier to hit the gym, go for a walk to the local shop instead of driving to the supermarket or park your car further than usual. But remember, this will all be wasted if you reward yourself with a huge dessert later!
# Don’t eat after dinner - Calories give us energy. We don't need energy to SLEEP.

When we lose someone that we love, it is difficult to cope with. I think most of us who have experienced this loss, have often wished that we could get some kind of message to our loved ones, and the thought of getting one back from them is even more appealing. Just to know they are still there and that they know how much you love them, is such a comforting feeling, it’s no wonder we look for some way of bridging the gap between us and the spirit world. One of those ‘bridges’ is Mystic Jane.
Being a clairvoyant isn’t a career choice in as such, it is a natural ability that can start from an early age. Mystic Jane explained that from the young age of just 7-8, she had experiences with the spirit world. It was strange and confusing at first but once she understood what she was capable of, and the joy that she could bring with this ability, she embraced it.
“I have always been psychic, for as long as I can remember. I have been doing reading’s for people for over 20 years, as a hobby but decided 3 years ago that I wanted to do it full time. I love being able to do what I

do, I have had lots of customers and I have made many, many friends who come back to me again and again. The thing I love about doing psychic tarot card reading is that I often surprise, and impress people with my readings. It is this accuracy that keeps people coming back to me”, she explained.
While I was talking to MJ, she started have spirits coming through for me! I was really pleased as she explained that we had been joined by my grandfather who had passed away around 18 months ago. We had a really amazing chat, all three of us!
MJ explained that she spent some time in Shetland, where she worked in the Crystal Clear Holistic Shop. The lady who owns the shop Sheila Johnson said that she and the clients were so pleased with the validity of their readings that they asked her to return again and again. MJ made several new friends while at the shop, and they still keep in touch with her and still ask for advice by phone or text message. If you are looking for an unhurried, confidential Psychic/Tarot reading, in a friendly atmosphere, then get
in touch for a private appointment or group booking in your own home. MJ also is available for psychic evenings (hotel/pubs etc contact her for details on booking) Call 07952 746858 or visit the website: www.mysticjane.co.uk Now also doing email readings. They are very popular and reasonably priced.

How Now Eyebrow_Double Page Editorial 12/09/2013 10:42 Page 1
HOW NOW EYEBROW! THE HYPE - BEAUTY
Raising eyebrows -and not in a bad way!
Eyebrows are the frame for your whole face, I would be lost without mine! Well shaped eyebrows can balance wide cheekbones and make the length of your face appear more ‘in proportion’. It is all about bringing out your best features, and taking attention away from the ones you don’t like. Shape up your brows the easy way by tweezing after a shower, or use a warm face cloth over your face to let the follicles open, making the hairs come out less painfully. Better Shape Up Don’t let the latest trend with the stars determine the style of your brow. For example, Amy Child's shape may not suit you, so before you take her photo to the salon, see if your face shapes are alike. For a round face you need a more angular, fuller brow. Ovals can go for a more prominent arch and heart shapes suit a straighter brow.
Don’t get carried away with the tweezers, over plucking is a definite no-no. This creates too severe a look and will have people constantly asking, "what's up?”. Invest in a stencil to help outline the shape you want to create and mark it with an eyebrow pencil. Also be wary of plucking too much off the top of your brows, a common mistake. Shades of Perfection The right brow shadow can freshen up your overall appearance. Try to get as close to your hair colour, for a more natural look. If it’s too pale it may make your eyes look dull, while a too dark one can distract from your eyes.
To Round Things Off Finally, once you've got the eyebrow you have always wanted, keep them wellgroomed by brushing them upward and out. It will instantly make the space around your eyes appear more open, and youthful.
Before: ILAH Brows
“I recently went to my local salon for ILAH brows, they tread the eyebrow to the perfect shape for your face, then tint the brow using a stencil and finish off with a special mineral powder. I felt like a celebrity when I came out of there, they were AMAZING!” Eileen - The Hype x

WHY WAIT TILL THE NEW YEAR? Y
ear in Year out the most common New Year’s Resolution is to Eat Healthier and Exercise More. Unfortunately 60% of all those taking up this resolution fail within the first 6 weeks. But why wait till New Year. Instead wouldn’t you like to look good for your works Christmas party?
There are 3 Key Areas you need to look at before starting any Lifestyle Change and believe me, the only way to succeed is a Lifestyle Change. Fad Diets, Exotic exercise regimes and New fangled gadgets DO NOT work in the long run. A Lifestyle Change is altering the Habits that you have now into new Habits that are going to benefit you and help you reach your Goals. Regardless of what any product claims or advertises, a comfortable, healthy
sustainable weight loss is between 46lbs per month. Too many people I talk to have over ambitious goals and unfortunately we as humans don’t like to fail. So if we don’t see the results we expect then we stop before we get the chance to fail, where as we should be setting our goals to be more realistic and achievable.
Goals only make sense or have meaning if you know where you are at the start. If your goal is to lose 2 dress sizes, then make a note of your dress size. If you want to build muscle, measure round your arms, chest, legs etc. This allows you to make goals more specific, which makes it a lot easier to succeed. DONT just rely on the scales. How many of you have said “Right this week I am going to hit the gym 5 times and eat nothing but salad”. You may be
able to do this for a few days or even the week, but what about next week and the week after. Maybe instead do 30 minutes twice a week and switch the chips at night for a salad and then build on this every week. A lot of people think that forming a habit takes about 4 weeks; this is a “Myth”. What dictates the length of time a Habit takes to form is the complexity of that Habit. For example, switching the bag of crisps as a snack for an apple is a lot easier to form as a Habit than going from watching TV every night to running every night. It is about small steps to start with that mount up into big overall Lifestyle Changes. Pick just one small thing you can change now and watch the benefits unfold. Make it Specific, Make it Realistic and Make it Manageable. So why wait till New Year, start today!

Unlock their potential with Kumon
At Randlay, Telford Study Centre, Kumon offers individualised maths and English study programmes for all ages and abilities. Established for over 50 years, the Kumon programmes enable children to develop their study skills and confidently tackle advanced work.
At the start of the new school year, it is important to ensure children are equipped with the most vital tools needed for a successful year ahead; a good grip on the core subjects of maths and English and the learning skills required for academic progression. Children can require additional support to get back into the
swing of daily study, and many parents look to supplementary education to get their child off to a flying start and ensure they maximise their potential throughout the year.
On both programmes, students start at their own, individually set, starting point and move through the levels at their own pace. Having built a strong foundation in the way they study, including developing pace, concentration and rhythm, students begin to work independently. At Kumon, learning is always for the long run: the programmes prepare students for a successful future filled with endless opportunities.
The mother of Randlay, Telford Study Centre student Sonia says: “We started (Kumon) last September, and by Easter the teacher asked us what we were doing, because Sonia's English work and reading had improved so much. I told them it was all down to the kumon programme.” For more information or to book a FREE Assessment, contact Instructor Jacqueline Evans on 01952 463352 or email randlaytelford@kumoncentre.co.uk.

ue Frankfort is a firm believer that healthy relationships form the heart of a thriving society. The mother of two has been in her new role as Chief Executive at charity Relate Shropshire, Herefordshire and North Staffordshire for six months. She is relishing the challenges and the rewards it brings. As a former businesswoman, Sue from Market Drayton, has a broad mix of commercial skills and experience combined with the personality to be able to cope with pressure. She is also firmly committed to the voluntary sector and has a strong belief in the power of love and importance of counselling. “We were designed to love and be loved. Human beings generally don’t thrive where key relationships are damaged. It affects our health and ultimately our economy. The Relationship Foundation estimates that we spend £45 billion a year on relationship breakdown,” she explains. Living with her husband, a 28-year-old son and 23-year-old daughter, Sue is well-aware of the importance and pressures of family, and is a firm advocate of the influence of counselling. Relate’s work includes counselling for individuals, couples, families and children. “We don’t discriminate against particular types of relationships, so we welcome gay couples, married, straight, any of the many and varied complicated situations people sometimes find themselves in. No one will be judged at Relate,” she says. “We offer young people and family counselling. In fact, 50 percent of our
work is undertaken in schools with young people having 1:1 counselling. “We are able to step in when an emergency situation arises or, as in the recent case in Wellington when a teenager was sadly murdered, our counselling team was on stand-by to support classmates and staff at the school.” As CEO, a key part of Sue’s role is communication and networking. On a day-to-day basis she talks to directors and trustees, staff, fundraisers, members of the public and the media. Relate relies on the income provided by 11 charity shops in Shropshire and also by donations and fundraising events. “We have fun with fundraising events. Our next one “a 60’s big night out featuring the Merseybeats & The Beat Beatles which takes place on September 28th Tickets available from Theatre Severn Box Office on 01743 281281. Sue also makes time to study for a part-time MSc in Counselling at Keele University. “The professional counselling training route gives me a professional insight to the service we deliver. I totally understand the value of counselling and am absolutely committed to it,” she says. As a former estate agent and business woman, some may find her move into the voluntary sector unusual. She ran her own residential letting agency for 10 years. It was a flexible business that worked perfectly with having two small children. “However, I felt I wanted to be part of something bigger!” she confesses.
Individual Counselling

Family Counselling
After selling her business, Sue took a post with North Staffordshire District Council as a Market Towns Regeneration manager where her role involved bringing together the private, public and charity sectors and helping them to design imaginative projects to access funding to improve the community. This was when she decided she wanted to work in the charity sector. “ I found charity workers seemed to have a tendency for huge levels of passion about them which was demonstrated by extraordinary levels of hard work and commitment,” she says. “The third sector is full of passionate women and men striving to make a difference in their field!” Nationally. Sue says that 68 percent of the workforce in the charity sector is female, and 43 percent of charities are led by women. It’s a job that brings its pressures but can make a real difference where it matters. “It is especially rewarding hearing stories of young people’s lives being changed for the better. Sometimes, the opportunity to talk to a counsellor makes the difference between a young person falling off the track and heading towards selfdestruction or getting back on track, and feeling able to face life. We have found that timely intervention, sometimes for only a very few sessions, can and does make all the difference,” she points out. “We are all intimately connected to one another and we need to find creative healing ways to be together. We all have fundamental responsibility for the health of the world community in which we live,” she continues. “I hope, in a small way, with my team at Relate, that we are helping raise awareness of the importance of healthy relationships and helping to heal them to the greater good.”

Shipley Campus links with the local Wolverhampton Community
Pupils from Wednesfield High at the Shipley Campus Taster Day
Walford and North Shropshire College (WNSC) has recently successfully completed a project coordinated and funded by Land based Colleges Aspiring to Excellence, (Landex) to engage with members of the Wolverhampton Urban, Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) Community.
Paul Murphy, Research Officer at Landex launched the project earlier in the year as a result of findings from research which revealed that students studying land-based qualifications were not representative of the UK student population.
The project group focused on Wolverhampton and engaged with local communities and schools, in particular Wednesfield High School. Recently, year 9 pupils from Wednesfield High travelled to Shipley Campus to attend a taster day event. The pupils thoroughly enjoyed the event with one saying to a friend, ‘I am definitely coming here when I leave school!’
If you would like to find out more about land-based courses at either the Walford Campus near Baschurch or the Shipley Campus near Wolverhampton, visit the website at www.wnsc.ac.uk You can also arrange a tour of the Shipley Campus by booking over the telephone via 01902 709840.

he British Ironwork Centre team were humbled earlier this year when they were honoured with the Community Champion award. The staff at the centre were overjoyed to have received such an honour having worked hard to contribute to both the community and company.
Both the Centre and staff were and remain immensely proud of their on going work with local charities and causes. With group visits from all walks of life always encouraged, the Ironwork Centre has played host to a wonderfully diverse range of visitors. Most recently they were delighted to welcome the Avalon day opportunities group who enjoyed a lunch of tea and sandwiches in the beautiful grounds of Whitehall. The Avalon group specialise in organising experiences for local people with disabilities. The group have graciously offered to assist the Ironwork centre in testing the suitability and accessibility of the new facilities opening in 2014. These facilities will include a more expansive show room and café area for visitors. As a company and as a family. The British Ironwork Centre is always looking for new ways to contribute to and improve our local area. As a testament to this the company have invested much time and effort in to providing work experience and new job opportunities to the town. The Centre has an extremely successful work experience program, helping young people to gain necessary skills and qualities that may help them gain employment in the future. A number of staff members have also been employed by the company themselves as a result of this encouraging program.
The Centre’s most recent endeavour involved the internationally renowned illusionist, Uri Geller. The Company was thrilled when Mr Geller approached them in relation to the renovation of his home and grounds, in particular the restoration of his existing lamp posts. Having expressed an interest in the elegant Belgravia collection the managing director Mr Clive Knowles was invited to home of the famed performer. During the privileged visit Mr Geller showcased his incredible abilities, going on to bend one of our precious lamp posts. This lamp post will be on display within the Centre’s new show room due to open in the new year. An event Mr Geller himself intends to attend. WORLDS MOST POWERFUL FINGER! AMY “I had a phone call from my boyfriend the morning after our office party. His car wouldn’t start so he was begging me for a lift to the train station. I felt a bit groggy so splashed some cold water on my face. I never even thought about being over the limit.” FINED £2500, BANNED 2 YEARS & LOST HER JOB LEON “Yeah, I’d had a few beers at lunchtime but I went to the gym afterwards to work them off. I didn’t get into my car until a good three hours after I’d finished drinking.” FINED £1500, BANNED 12 MONTHS
Alcohol affects everybody’s driving for the worse. Get caught drink driving and you can expect to be arrested, appear in court and receive a minimum 12 month driving ban, a fine of up to £5,000 and a criminal record. Other potential consequences of a drink drive conviction include job loss, higher insurance costs and strain on personal relationships. You can be asked to give a breath test if: You have been involved in a crash, regardless of whether you were at fault.
You commit a moving traffic offence such as not stopping for a red traffic light. A Police Officer suspects you are driving under the influence of alcohol because, for example, you are driving erratically or the officer smells alcohol on your breath at a routine stop.
The Police run designated drink drive campaigns in the winter and summer, but they are always alert to the signs of drink driving. Time is the only way to get alcohol out of your system. You could be over the legal limit many hours after your last drink, even if it’s the ‘morning after’. Sleep, coffee and cold showers don’t help to sober you up. If you’ve had a heavy night, consider whether you should be driving the next day. If you’re going to drink alcohol, plan how to get home without driving. Agree a designated driver, book a taxi, or use public transport.
Don’t accept a lift from a driver you know has drunk alcohol. Their driving will be affected and you will be putting yourself at risk.
We’ve all taken risks in life, but risking driving whilst under the influence of alcohol or drugs is a risk that’s just not worth taking.
