Presentation #1 is the projection of 13 videos made throughout 3 years, accompanied of a concert. It lasts an hour that shows a collaboration whit Ricardo Martinez (visual artist and musician by formation) The work focus on outlining the ordinary gestures in the ways videos are created and presented. Let´s say the direct references to “Natural Edition” by Paolo Passolini, which appeals to memory, and the 6 Welden films by Jonas Mekas which are a testimony of his movie journal These influences and the 1920´s movie projections with live soundtrack, synthetize a presentation that searches for the idea of the presence ant the execution and constant decision making to keep the audience focused on the narratives presented to them. Like a DJ politicizing the masses through environments and emotional states. It is a tiresome task to keep the relationship between the video material and the exporter by synchrony and sound improvisation. To make that possible, there are various sound sculptures previously introduced, traditional instruments and electroacoustic sounds.
