The Salvation Army by Lieutenant Sue Shorland-Compton Hythe Salvation Army would like to thank everyone for all the support they received, particularly over the Christmas period, to help those in need in our community. They were able to provide toys and gifts to many families in the community whilst also providing a Christmas Day lunch for those who may otherwise have been alone or struggling. They are continuing to support the community through their Foodbank and were so pleased to receive all the food donations from the reverse Advent calendar that so many of you took part in. Held every Wednesday morning, the food bank continues to see an increase in demand and any support, either in food donations at our drop-off points in Sainsburys and Aldi, or by means of financial support through our Just Giving page (see QR code below) would be very much appreciated.
