LETTER FROM THE PRESIDENT
Welcome!
There is much to celebrate and be proud of within our Chamber cities, including continued residential and commercial development that will benefit all who work, live and play in our area!
We encourage you to continue to shop local and support our Chamber member businesses, many of which have advertisements and listings in this publication. It’s not easy to open a new business and it’s even more difficult to stay in business. The commitment and perseverance shown by our local business community over the past several years is admirable. Please continue to frequent them!
The I-94 West Chamber of Commerce is here to serve you. Whether you are a resident looking for a business referral that you can have confidence in, a business owner looking to network with fellow professionals or maybe in need of business related insight or information, please reach out to our office. Consider attending our regular monthly events, which include Coffee & Conversation, Breakfast Club, Lunch Bunch, Women’s Networking Group, Young Professionals Group and Business Bites and Beverages. All of these gatherings are a great opportunity to connect with fellow business leaders and share your story, challenges and opportunities.
We look forward to seeing you at one of our many Chamber events in the near future, or simply out and about in the wonderful communities in which we reside, enjoying all that they have to offer!

Young Professionals Networking GroupDid you know the I-94 West Chamber of Commerce has a long history of giving back to our communities? From recognition and scholarships to awards and sponsored drives, we have found a number of unique ways to support those who need or deserve it in our region.
As a business centered organization, we understand the effort and hard work businesses and employees put into doing GREAT things. Not only do we recognize outstanding leaders and businesses at our Circle of Excellence Awards, we also show appreciation and support for others in our communities.
For many years, the I-94 West Chamber of Commerce has recognized those who serve at our First Responders Luncheon each May. This event reminds us of how close we are to someone who is a Paramedic/EMT, Dispatcher, Law Enforcement Officer, or Firefighter. Their dedication to helping others in need is paramount for any community.
It is vital that we spend time positively recognizing them for their efforts and showing our appreciation for what they do to keep us safe and respond to emergencies. Each year, we give back all of our net proceeds from this event to Minnesota Fallen Firefighters Association (MNFFA), Law Enforcement Memorial Association (LEMA), and MAGNUS Veterans Foundation.
We also see the importance of our future workforce. Each year, we award area high school students scholarships as they enter their next phase in life. Awards include five scholarships and recognition by the Chamber at an event. We find it incredible that so many families in our region are in need, especially around the holidays. Several years ago, we began supporting local nonprofit organizations at our annual Holiday Luncheon. This festive event, thanks to the generosity of our membership, has allowed us to collect needed gifts and raise thousands of dollars!
Our Chamber is a growing organization of productive leaders constantly evolving to meet the needs of our business community in new and engaging ways. Our membership is extremely supportive of the communities where they work and we are proud of their efforts to support each one of these opportunities to give back!
