Michael is a growing community centrally St. located in the heart of Minnesota along I-94, about 30 minutes from downtown Minneapolis and St. Cloud. The City provides a small-town feel with safe neighborhoods, great schools, abundant parks, lakes and natural resources; making it a great place to live and raise a family. St. Michael was incorporated as a city in 1890 and currently has a population of over 18,000 and growing.
4 REASONS TO LIVE WORK AND PLAY YEAR-ROUND AMENITIES
St. Michael offers year-round opportunities for residents and businesses alike. Home to numerous large and small businesses, the new Town Center Park, St. Michael Library-which is part of the Great River Regional Library system, Senior Center, two 18-hole golf courses, recreational programming and is located within minutes of the Albertville Premium Outlet mall; it is a great place to call home.
EVENTS The City Center’s new additions make Town Center Park a great place to gather. Families can utilize the splash pad and park facilities, as well as indoor rentals to accommodate all weather conditions. Indoor and outdoor programming offer families the ability to attend events yearround. Town Center Park is home to the annual Daze and Knights Festival in early August, as well as the new WinterFest event the first weekend in December. Learn more about Daze and Knights at: www.stmdazeandknightsfestival.com. For more info about WinterFest, visit: www.stmichaelmn.gov/winterfest
TOP-RANKED SCHOOLS
Residents of St. Michael attend Buffalo, Elk River, or St. Michael-Albertville (STMA) school districts, all of which are well-respected and excel in academics, arts, and athletics. The St. MichaelAlbertville School District ranks among the top school districts in Minnesota and the nation according to Niche, a school comparison site. In the “Best School District” category, STMA ranks number one in Wright County and number eight in the State of Minnesota as of October, 2021.
LIVE & WORK St. Michael is ranked the number three best city to live in Minnesota, according to an article released from Life in Minnesota. Community leaders work hard to continue to support the integrity of St. Michael, while offering economic development to meet the City’s vision. Staff works hard to promote a positive climate for both large and small businesses, including maintaining one of the lowest city tax rates in the area. Working with Shop STMA, I-94 West Chamber, Wright County Economic Development Partnership and others, the City makes sure businesses have what they need to succeed and prosper. showing our appreciation for what they do to keep us safe and respond to emergencies. Each year, we give back all of our net proceeds from this event to Minnesota Fallen Firefighters Association (MNFFA), Law Enforcement Memorial Association (LEMA), and The Frontline Foundation.
Did you know the I-94 West Chamber of Commerce has a long history of giving back to our communities? From recognition and scholarships to awards and sponsored drives, we have found a number of unique ways to support those who need or deserve it in our region. As a business centered organization, we understand the effort and hard work businesses and employees put into doing GREAT things. Not only do we recognize outstanding leaders and businesses at our Circle of Excellence Awards, we also show appreciation and support for others in our communities. For many years, the I-94 West Chamber of Commerce has recognized those who serve at our First Responders Luncheon each May. This event reminds us of how close we are to someone who is a Paramedic/EMT, Dispatcher, Law Enforcement Officer, or Firefighter. Their dedication to helping others in need is paramount for any community. It is vital that we spend time positively recognizing them for their efforts and
32
We also see the importance of our future workforce. Each year, we award area high school students scholarships as they enter their next phase in life. Awards include five scholarships and recognition by the Chamber at an event. We find it incredible that so many families in our region are in need, especially around the holidays. Several years ago, we began supporting the Caring for Kids Toy Drive (through Hanover Food Shelf) at our annual holiday event. In 2019, we added CROSS to that list. Hosting a Holiday luncheon at the Rogers Community Room, we were able to collect approximately 200 toys, hats & mittens to help make winter warmer and merrier for kids served by both organizations. Our Chamber is a growing organization of productive leaders constantly evolving to meet the needs of our business community in new and engaging ways. Our membership is extremely supportive of the communities where they work and we are proud of their efforts to support each one of these opportunities to give back.

TRILOGY STEM ACADEMY Trilogy STEM Academy is Minnesota’s only STEM-focused private high school. The founders of Trilogy STEM Academy have over 27 years of combined collegiate teaching experience within various STEM disciplines. With this experience came the awareness of the many gaps within the public school system that prevent students from completing college. According to the National Center for Education Statistics, only 62% of students who attend college actually finish and earn a degree. Trilogy was co-founded to address and diminish these roadblocks by implementing rigorous curriculum, including up to 12 advance placement courses, giving students the skills needed to be prepared, self-reliant, and confident throughout their college years. Small class sizes and highly qualified faculty ensure students have the guidance and support needed to bridge the gap between the high school experience and college expectations. Trilogy STEM Academy invites all students with interests in science, technology, engineering and mathematics to become part of our learning community.

THUMBS UP MISSION We value LIFE and we ASPIRE to help others in our community by TALKING about MENTAL HEALTH.
THUMBS UP VISION THUMBS UP is all about EMBRACING those who are struggling and breaking the stigma around mental health. CONNECTING, SUPPORTING and ENCOURAGING one another to talk about their feelings and challenges and to “KEEP MOVING FORWARD”. We are dedicated to EDUCATING and TEACHING about mental illness, the warning signs of suicide, what you can to do help others who struggle and community awareness initiatives. Let’s UNITE to help others to KEEP MOVING FORWARD.
Veterans and their families founded the Magnus Veterans Foundation, a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The organization’s founders have 125 years of combined military service, most of which within Special Operations Forces. Our dedicated team understands the profound impact that war and military service has on veterans and their families. They include physicians, licensed professionals, veteran families, community leaders, and military serviceadvocates. We pledged to devote our professions and leadership to the Magnus Mission.
OUR MISSION Heal and honor our veterans and their families through community fellowship and a comprehensive approach to restoring the body, heart, mind, and spirit
OUR VISION Fully restore the Warrior Spirit by bridging the gap between those who serve and those whom they serve.
