HIRE A COACH TO GET WHAT YOU WANT

“Once you are clear about your pur pose, dreams & resources, you can look at all areas of your life and decide what you want.”

In a coaching relationship you are in control and can proactively direct your life in the direction you want to go. In any area, career, relationship, health, community, when you are being coached you are asked two very important questions. First, what do you want? Second, what are you willing to do about it? These questions are potent and confronting, but the whole idea behind coaching is that you are hiring someone to supportively hold you accountable for getting what you want. You determine what that is. You’d be amazed at how hard this can be for some. We are clear about some of our dreams and desires. I often hear, “I want to be paid well for doing work that I love.” “I want more quality time with my family and friends.” “I want to be healthy and fit, without having to go to the gym.” “I want meaning and purpose in my

4

life.” But you might also be shocked to learn that quite often people say to me, “My dream is to have a dream.” These steps can help you clarify what you do and don’t want. The Dream Coach® Process Set An Intention Objective: To understand the power and importance of intention and for you to set an intention for what you want such as to find a new job or career, or get a promotion. Maintain Integrity Objective: To learn how to live with integrity by removing incompletions and keeping agreements with yourself and others. It is essential that you remove or clear up anything from your past that might be in the way of you having what you want. Live On Purpose Objective: To understand the meaning and importance of purpose in order to live more aligned with your purpose. Dreams without purpose, even a job without aligning to your purpose, can be unfulfilling. We can take steps to avoid this. Access Your Dreamer Objective: To create a dynamic relationship with the Dreamer inside of you, and a dream you are passionate about. No matter how realistic you may be, there is a part of you that knows what will make you happy and what you want. We will

help you uncover this and get extremely clear about what you want. Learn From Your Doubter Objective: To create a powerful and dynamic relationship with the Doubter inside of you, and to learn from the lessons this part of you offers. Left unattended, this is part of us often sabotages our dreams. This does not need to happen. Believe In Your Dreams Objective: To create a belief as a solid foundation for making your dreams come true. If you don't believe in yourself or your dream, no one else will either. This is a life-changing step. Failure Can Lead To Success Objective: To learn to use all of life’s lessons as powerful tools, and to create daily practices to deepen what you learn. In this work, we look at what happened and what you learned and design practices for strengthening your Achilles heel. Take Serious Steps Forward Objective: To plan the essential action steps to insure that your dreams come true. In the end, it all comes down to taking action and the practical steps for making your dream real. Building Your DreamTeam Objective: To be able to ask for help, making your dream more easily attainable. There are resources that you know and do not know who can open doors and make your life easier. Learn essential skills for asking for and getting help.

Live As a Dreamer Objective: The objective is simple, to create a dream come true life. Once you are clear about your purpose, dreams and resources, you can look at all areas of your life and decide what you want. This process works on any dream. Dream University’s CEO and Founder Marcia Wieder is committed to helping one million dreams come true. The author of 14 books, she has appeared on Oprah, the Today Show and was featured in her own PBS-TV show called Making Your Dreams Come True. As a columnist for the

12 WAYS TO BE A 21ST CENTURY VISIONARY

By Marcia Wieder, CEO/Founder, Dream University® A 21st Century Visionary: 1. Has tremendous integrity. Beyond keeping their agreements with themselves and others, they answer to a higher Source. They are aligned with their values and usually have a mission, vision, calling and dreams in many areas of life. 2. Is comfortable with uncertainty, the place where true creation occurs. He or she knows we were created to create and allows the time and space for this to occur. They understand there is deep knowing under uncertainty but they appreciate the value of not knowing. 3. Has extraordinary faith. They are able to act on what’s important to them even without assurance and guarantees. They can walk on faith without knowing the strategy or even clear next steps. 4. Knows that the secret to enlightenment is to relax. As we relax, our ego (with its agenda, fears and doubts) can slip away or get quiet, allowing for peace. We are left with our essential self, essence or soul. 7

5. Practices getting empty in order to hear the voice of the Divine and/or feel this presence. They often create ritual and sacred space as way to invite this in. 6. Can consciously drop into a deeper place of wisdom, knowing and truth and can ideate/dream, and speak from this place. 7. Is aware that miracles happen in their own time and is able to wait rather than asserting his or her will or effort too soon. They trust the process enough to let it unfold. They can have a strong intention, yet hold it spaciously. 8. Is receptive and knows that “give and take” is not the same as “give and receive” and that giving and receiving need to be done in balance. They practice restraint, allowing space for the space where true creation and original thought happen. 9. Does not live primarily as a problem solver, but more as a creative force. They are aware that it is more powerful to move toward what you want than away from what you don’t want, yet they know that both creation and destruction serve. 10. Has a conscious relationship with the silent witness, the part that can see many points of view, all sides and new perspectives. As a big dreamer, they use their imagination to traverse new terrain. 11. Knows when to be collaborative and when to be hierarchal. They have the courage, clarity and commitment to share dreams and ideas and empower others to take ownership. 12. Is crucial to the Dream Movement's ultimate dream, which is to make the world a more whole and abundant place. They know that with one single highly intentional step, the world can and has changed. ©2010 Dream University® All rights reserved.

CHOOSE YOUR MAGNET WISELY done, even when it is someone else’s responsibility. I am sure you can think of a time when you experienced being micromanaged. When someone with authority over you wanted to make sure you were doing things exactly the same way they would have done it. How was that for you? I am going to guess terrible.

Have you ever played with magnets? Do you remember the first time you discovered that sometimes magnets repel each other? No matter how hard you try, you absolutely cannot make those magnets go together, right? Did you know that this same principle applies within us? No matter how much you try there are certain things you cannot do, feel, experience or be at the same time. The two things we are going to focus on today are trust and control. Trust and control cannot co-exist in the one being in the same moment. Do you want to know why? Just like with the magnets, it is all about energy. The energy we embody is seeded in one of two places. Yes, only two places! They are of course the polar opposites, fear and love. The energy of fear vibrates at the lowest possible frequency, while the energy of love vibrates at the highest. Because the vibrations are so different they will never be in sync and they cannot co-exist. When fear is your motivating factor, the tendency is to try to control the situation, whatever it may be. You may find yourself trying to control who says what to whom, or exactly how things get

Can you imagine how different it would have felt to be trusted to do your job instead? It would probably have been a different experience altogether, because trust is based in love which exists at a much higher vibration. Now, be honest, have you ever been guilty of being the micromanager? It doesn’t feel so good for you either, does it? You were probably afraid that the job would not get done properly and somehow it would reflect badly on you. Wouldn’t it feel better to make sure the person you have some authority over is motivated, capable and has all the tools they need to be successful? Once you are confident that all those things are in place you have set yourself up to trust them. Then all you have to do is check in and monitor the situation in way that makes you confident they the work is getting done. Tiffany Cane is the founder of Connected to Your Core. A DREAM IS A WISH YOUR HEART MAKES ing into present time. You may notice that most of the chatter is based in the past or in the future. Quietly listen to the inner chatter and repeatedly come into present time. Listening more than thinking. Yes, it’s that simple. Quiet the mind. Listen to your heart. Live your dreams.

You know the cliché’ “A Dream is a Wish your Heart Makes”? It has been sung to my family hundreds of times by a mother-in-law who is part Snow White, part Cinderella and part Wonderwoman on steroids. And, you know what? It’s true! She is absolutely right. A dream IS a wish your heart makes. The trick to living a life of your dreams is Simple. Learn the language of your own heart. But how is it done? The most common quest for my clients is to learn how to know what the heart is asking? Or more directly, which voice is from the heart? “Which voice do I listen to?” The heart is always loving. not critical but always loving and distraction are of fear, guilt and are not heart felt. and deafening.

It’s the voice that’s and kind. Confusion defeat, shame and These can be loud

Who knew my mother-in-law would be one of my profound spiritual teachers? After quieting my mind and listening to my heart, I have found a dream-life; teaching others the skill of clarifying and manifesting their dreams. It is my heart's calling. “Success is a journey into our own hearts”

MARKETING YOUR DREAMS You have a DREAM... and that dream is to launch your business, be your own boss, work in your jammies or out overlooking the ocean while clients drop into your lap.

“When you can get down to the essence of that big vision, that’s when your personal marketing magic happens.”

You’re changing lives every day just by being an Entrepreneur. And then, laptop at the ready, you realize that you’re going to have to learn business skills and gasp... you’re going to have to market yourself so that those clients drop into your lap. Yep. In order to actually achieve your dreams, you’re going to have to learn to market them. I mean there are about 521 different ways to market yourself and you’re told by 6,753 ‘Experts‘ that their way was exactly how they made millions and you can do it too (totally made up numbers). Question is... where to start?

11

You need to make a plan based on who YOU are and what will work for you. I’m going to be totally honest with you here - I had all kinds of steps for you to take, sound marketing plans, awesome advice on where to start... but seriously? Your plan depends on you, not on what another expert tells you to do (I’m referring to me if you missed that...) It was all scrapped onto the editing floor. Because this is about DREAMS. Your dreams... the parts of you that are vulnerable because you hold them so dearly. Our business dreams are personal and reflect so our hopes and secrets, things we aspire to if we are to step into our greatness. As entrepreneurs there is no barrier between who we are, who we want to be and what our business looks like. Success is a journey into our own hearts. When you can get down to the essence of that big vision, that’s when your personal marketing magic happens.

Stop Faking it No more pretending to be perfect - that’s totally boring and it’s exhausting to keep up a fake persona. When you are really ready to kill it in your business then you’ll ditch your outer shell and let the part of you that you’re hiding out into the open. Get real, authentic & messy. Go for it! Start Where You Are No matter where you are, you have experiences in your life that qualify you as having unique insight to help someone else out. You don’t have to be anything more than that right now. Don’t say you can help people make 6 figures if you haven’t walked that path yourself yet. Understand that we’re all walking on a road and there are people who are a couple steps behind them on the path and you can reach out to help them along their way. Speak From Your Heart You really want to create great copy for your website? Ditch the slick Marketing-Speak. Open up your soul and talk to your friends. Would you tell your best friend that you can help her step into her power? Or would you say “Listen, I love you and I KNOW that you can do this”. Speak like YOU, not the experts. Love With Abundance Stop trying to find your target market and start loving the community you’re building. Every person who subscribes or looks at your website or hits Like on Facebook - they are your people, your tribe, your community. Love them with wild aban-

don. They’re not numbers, they are people who deserve your love and attention. Wake up not thinking of how you can market yourself but rather how you can be of service to your community today. These are the golden rules of truly marketing your dreams. It’s not about how video helps your SEO or strategic Facebook messages to drive traffic. It’s about using the most compelling thing in your arsenal - YOU!

WHAT MAKES YOUR HEART SING & YOUR SOUL FLY? Your Big Dreams will show you what it's like to really live, not just to exist. They will challenge you, provoke you, test you…but they will also give you the greatest joy and help you to become the fabulous person that deep down you know you can be. But first, they need you to hear them, see them, acknowledge what you REALLY want. So, what makes your heart sing and your soul fly? What is your Big Dream? What makes your heart sing and your soul fly? What's the Dream that's been singing to you for years, whispering in your ear, begging you to hear? What's the Dream that's so big it scares you? Are you seeing and hearing that Dream? Are you taking action towards that Dream? So many of us cut our Dream, we make it smaller so it will fit in the box of 'what we think is possible'. In doing so, we rob it of its magic, its energy, its power. We rob ourselves of the chance to grow into that Big Dream - to become the person we really are when we are not being made smaller to fit into a box called "fitting in".

Donna, better known as "DonnaOnTheBeach", helps women who KNOW there is more to life to make their Dreams a Reality, and live with joy and passion. Visit http://www.donnaonthebeach.com to get her free ebook "The First Step To a Joyful Life" and to find hundreds of articles, podcasts and videos to help you fall in love with your life, live joyfully and make your Big Dreams come true.

Your Big Dreams call you to bring all of yourself to them - all your genius, all your gifts, all your uniqueness. They call you to be the best of you that you can be. They call you to get out of that box, to stop playing small and start being the person you were born to be. They call you to deal with all your shit - all the fears and doubts and anxieties that get in the way of you living your life to the full.

LET’S DREAM DANCE can take infinite pathways, it is easy to feel confused and overwhelmed. Where do I begin? Where do I focus my energy and time? It is no surprise that alongside other important demands, our business growing journey may feel foggy, and we lose clarity of vision along the path to our dreams. “Why didn’t I learn to treat everything like it was the last time. My greatest regret was how much I believed in the future.” – Jonathan Safran Fore

Many coaches dream about supporting their “tribe” to live their own dreams. We dream of doing this as owners of dynamic and thriving coaching businesses that reflect our values and support our lifestyles. “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” -Eleanor Roosevelt It is a beautiful dream that offers the world our unique gift while offering us a flexible, free, abundant and balanced lifestyle. It is a dream that drives and motivates many of us. And this is its power. However, because we are so passionate about what we do, we find ourselves working long hours to build that dream. We may even lean towards working so hard for a “tomorrow” that we forget about the value of enjoying “today”. And so we sacrifice the gift of the present for the dream future that always seems to be beyond what we have right now.

I coach Mama entrepreneurs to find clarity and to balance their today with their tomorrow while starting-up and growing their passion-driven businesses. I see their journey as a dance between appreciating and celebrating the ‘now’ and allowing their dreams to fuel and inspire actions that will build their future. It is also something that I am learning to do. I call it the dream dance. Here are three easy tips to make your dream dance a rhythmic, self-loving and authentic one: 1. Get clear about your dream and your reality. Visit and revisit your vision and reality through quarterly visualization and review rituals. 2. Invite gratitude and celebration of three things regularly: a. your dream, b. your journey (yes, feel gratitude for every step you take closer to your dream - however significant it may feel), c. all that you have RIGHT NOW.

And on top of this, in today’s information age where the growth of our passion-driven business

15

(A wonderful way to do this is using a gratitude journal). 3. Connect to your inner wisdom and source of divinity daily. A walk, a yoga session, meditating, prayer – whatever works for you, practice it daily. It will help you stay aware and connected to the here and now, as well as to your authentic values and priorities. LAUNCH INTO YOUR DREAMS A launch is a strategic marketing plan to get people excited to buy your program or service. By giving them a harnessed burst of energy and excitement about what you offer, they stand up and say, “YES! I want to buy from you right now!” It’s the proactive way to attract more clients and make more money. It’s the perfect way to draw them in! A launch allows your message to come through by educating and relating to your audience in a powerful way for a limited amount of time. But a launch needs to happen the right way to get powerful results. Do you have big dreams for your business but everyday you still wonder, “Where is my next client going to come from?” If so, you could be operating your business in a reactive-mode. Being reactive in your business means that: You get clients mainly by referrals. You are just WAITING for those clients to appear. You market yourself randomly and sporadically, just hoping something will stick. You prefer to hide behind your computer rather than stepping up your business visibility (that is s-c-a-r-y!). How would it feel to turn all that around? If you have big dreams, then it’s your job to be proactive and fulfill that dream! And one of the best ways to manifest your dream business is with a launch.

A successful launch has 3 parts: Part 1: The build up of excitement. Use videos, blog posts, and social media to entice people to come to your event (part 2). Part 2: Your event. Give people a taste of your juicy content and unveil your offer. Part 3: Enrollment. Nurture your participants and draw them in as clients. Use this 3-part launch approach to successfully fill your programs and manifest your dreams. Heather Jernigan is a Private Launch Coach for driven female entrepreneurs. She expertly guides business leaders to draw in their ideal clients through clear messaging and a Just-In-Time Launch Formula. She pulls from nine years experience in corporate marketing plus her health coach experience and blend the two in a holistic way that gets powerful results. THE TRUTH OF FULFILLING YOUR DESIRES over. To be truly magical, your list of dreams needs to be deeply rooted and grounded in who you are and what you believe. Now, I’m going to let you in on a secret: sometimes your wishes and wants can blind you to what’s already fabulous in your life and where you are already moving towards some of those most coveted, big dreams.

I believe in dreaming big. I also believe in committing those dreams to paper. Recording what we desire in life is a magical way to forge that bond between our dreams and our reality. So, let’s play around with a magical list: what you really desire in your life. There are probably some “mores” on your list – like more love, money, time, play, laughter, freedom, comfort, romance…as well as some “less” on your list – like less weight, stress, demands on your time. If there is any hint of ‘someone else expects me to do it’ or ‘it’s what other people around me do,’ cross it off.

For each dream on your list, consider where that feeling, experience, or piece of the quality that you desire already exists in your world. For some, you may discover that you already embody items on your dream list. In others, you will have to dig a little deeper to discover the raw, unpolished hints of treasure in your life. Doing this exercise will allow you to discover the real truth. You see, the dreams you are seeking to fulfill aren’t out in some distant dream land, they are close enough to touch. Debra Smouse is a life coach & Tarnished Southern Belle at DebraSmouse.com who helps people fall in love with their lives. An expert detangler, she believes in busting clutter as a path to clarity and that within every woman is vibrant and passionate being just itching to make their inner sex kitten roar.

This magical list is about discovering your heart’s deepest desires, not what your spouse desires you to be, nor what your mother expects you to do. And it certainly isn’t about what your high school friend on Facebook makes you think you should have. If removing others’ desires and expectations off your list leaves you with a blank page….start

“Wanting is Brave. It takes courage to dream.”

HAVE YOUR DREAMS FLATLINED?

“If we stop wanting, we end up playing small and stepping out of the path of our soul!”

Wanting. Desire. Goals. Dreams. I caught myself recently not wanting anything. I caught myself content. Happy with what is. Satiated. And it felt good, free from the drive and strive. I have been happy with what is. Enough money, enough clients, enough love, enough time. What can a girl complain about when she has all these things and more? And yet, I could feel a tightness in my chest that told me everything was NOT ok. Recently I came across a list of dreams I’d written down 2 years ago. All but one of those had come true. I am running the soulbased business, earning what I want and need to. I am publicly the magician and sage. My hormones are under control. I am enjoying my relationship with my husband. Clients come to me easily and often. The only one that hadn’t was the fancy custom

house in the expensive part of town. Right now I LOVE living where I live, within my means, close to my daughter’s school and my husband's work, a nice moderate house with a beautiful garden and beautiful warm hardwood floors. What more was there to want besides excess?? In my meditations, I’ve been thanking Spirit for what is. I’ve been allowing and trusting the ebb and flow. All of my life seems to be unfolding perfectly. No drama. A measure of peace ~ and yet that pang of anxiety was thumping on my chest. Where was the DRAMA? How do I function without the drama? Shouldn’t I want more? Shouldn’t I be striving to create something new, better, more, more - more - more - more?

I could feel an empty space in my heart. My Inner Whisper was asking me to want more -- to unl e a s h m y d e s i r e a n d d r e a m s a g a i n . ???WHAT??? What about the POWER OF NOW, and LOVING WHAT IS, and I AM ENOUGH? Now that I finally feel in a place of satisfaction and contentment -- MORE is calling? MY DREAMS HAD FLAT-LINED! Don't get me wrong. Contentment is a blessing. Being satisfied and appreciative of what one has and where they are in life is a gift. But when we shut down our dreams we can slip from this high vibe state of joyful appreciation to one that is apathetic and fearful - don't dream and you won't fail. We begin to hide from our purpose.

The entire Universe is set up to produce wanting within you! You cannot squelch wanting. You are born wanters. Wanting is a good thing. Write that down in big letters: WANTING IS A VERY GOOD THING! -Abraham Hicks WANTING is BRAVE. It takes courage to Dream. If you stop dreaming, you can’t be wounded, disappointed or fail. When one doesn’t want, there is no risk. If we stop wanting, we end up playing small and stepping OUT of the path of our soul! My dreams matter. Your dreams matter. They are born of SPIRIT WITHIN and are meant to be unleashed on the world. REVIVE YOUR DREAMS It is time to go back into the dreaming workshop, the visioning space and activate your dreams. It is time to unleash our desires on to the world. If this stuff zings with you, check in with your Inner Whisper - and hear what that voice is saying to you about your dreams. Have they flat-lined? Is it time to revive them? Below is an exercise to expand your thinking and revive your dreams. It will stretch you to come up with 100. THE DREAM THAT TAKES YOUR BREATH AWAY

I couldn’t just say, “Oh, that was nice” and carry on like nothing had happened. I couldn’t forget about it, push it aside or act like it wasn’t important to me. What dream does that for you? What dream fills you with a sense of joy that is almost indescribable?

About a year ago, I had one of the most amazing dreams. I was sitting on the floor, feeling very down and discouraged. A man walked up to me, wanting to cheer me up. Once I was standing, we looked into each other’s eyes, and, from deep within me, I felt a sense of soulful connection that took my breath away. Without words, he conveyed the sense that he would be there for me, that I would be safe being myself with him, that he would love me completely, faults and all. In that moment, I knew that I didn’t have to be anyone other than my imperfect self to be lovable, valuable and important. Having such a clear picture in my heart filled me with such beautiful warmth and strength that it continued to motivate me to keep looking for the man that I can have that type of honest and true relationship with. And feeling what it could be like made me even more driven to do what I can to help bring him into my life.

What motivates you and drives you? What fills you with passion, energy and determination to keep moving towards it despite any of the fears or doubts that may pop up along the way? YOUR DREAMS ARE THE ECHOES OF YOUR SOUL · Be still To live your dreams is to fulfil your purpose, this is meaningful “soul work.” In stillness and silence your dreams will surface. Be in nature, sit by a river, climb a hill, swim in the ocean or meander through a forest. Find the place where you can be still and then listen. · Be patient

Your dreams are the echoes of your soul; gentle whispers that remind you of who you are, and why you belong in this place, at this time. Your dreams encourage you to listen, and call you to awaken. They are an open invitation to follow your heart. The path to your dreams is not meant to be straight. It twists and turns as you stumble confused and unsure along it. You will be met with ups and downs, inexplicable endings and beginnings, triumphs and tragedies. In the future you will look back and see that the path to your dreams was always there, unwavering, steadfast, calling you again and again to follow your heart. Trust the echoes in your soul; you are going just where you are meant to go.To bring your dreams to life:

Sometimes dreams can be hard to grasp, as slide through your fingers like silk. Be still, be patient and continue to listen. To your protective mind your dreams may seem irrational, impractical, yet they rarely are. Keep a journal and watch the story unfold. This is your lifetime’s work - there is no hurry. · Be curious Get to know yourself like your best friend. What do you love, what do you despise? Where do you feel most contented, with whom? What clues are in the dreams you have whilst you are sleeping? Capture what you learn in a journal, on Pintrest, write it, draw it, or record it. How you do it doesn’t matter, that you do it does… · Be bold Your dreams don’t have to change the world. Following your dreams will change you. This may sound scary but most change is simply a series of incremental steps that take place over time. Take a step today, because as Eleanor Roosevelt said: “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” 23

The secret is to keep dreaming and dreaming even bigger - and then sometimes to dream small – it all depends on where you are on the journey. Some of us are wounded, some of us are cautious, some of us are fearful. Some of us are fearless and jumping off cliffs allowing our faith to carry us to parts wild and unknown! Some of us are comparing ourselves to others and feeling unworthy. Some of us are tired of the comparisons. Some of us are thinking things that stop us from BEING and LIVING OUR Godgiven Dreams. Some of seem to always guide

I am afraid of lots of things when it comes to my dreams. We ALL are! It’s ok to say it and name it and confess it! Oh man it totally SUCKS too I know! We all hate it, we all know it. YOUR DREAM PLAN

"A goal without a plan is just a wish." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery I believe in making wishes. From time to time, I'm known to toss a coin into a fountain. However, when I truly desire to have something, a wish is not enough for me. I want to make things happen in my life. Now I make a D.R.E.A.M. come true. A D.R.E.A.M. is my signature system that consists of five elements: 1. Desire 2. Resources

I have a new D.R.E.A.M. Plan in the works now. I Desire to travel to Paris, France. I'm identifying the necessary Resources to make it happen. I'm keeping my Emotional Energy in an allowing space, shifting the resisting "It's impossible!" energy when it pops up. I'm taking immediate inspired Action towards the goal by doing my research, sharing the intention with others, and practicing my French. Finally, I have a crystal clear vision of the trip Manifested and I visualize it often. I close my eyes and allow myself to see the Eiffel Tower sparkling before me. I marvel in my mind at bright lights reflecting off of white stone buildings. I relish in an imaginary cruise down the Seine River at sunset. Every day, I'm working my D.R.E.A.M. plan. When it manifests, not only will I get to say "Au Revoir!" but I'll have one more piece of evidence that This Stuff's Working! KishaLynn Elliott helps executive professionals find the time they need to live the life they want. She is the owner of This Stuff's Working! 3. Emotional Energy 4. Action 5. Manifested I have used D.R.E.A.M. planning to manifest a perfect wedding, my favorite car, and even 100+ pounds of weight loss.

6 STEP FORMULA FOR KEEPING YOUR DREAMS ALIVE 3) Release your emotions & Rejuvenate ~ use the water element to release (take a bath, etc.) and the Fire element to rejuvenate (Burn a candle, etc) 4) Reward & Reconnect those achieving ~ Send those people you see growing & glowing applause. This brings joy into your heart. You can’t achieve your dream if you don’t have joy beaming from you! 5) Resume ~ Get seriously focused, now!

You’ve got your dream! I’d like to ask you this: “What will you do if the road to your dream seems too difficult?” It’s what you do in the face of these that will determine if you let your dream live. It’s easy to let go when the struggle seems too hard without the dream. I know this because I’ve been there. And, I’ve been in business long enough to know that this point may hit again. That’s the point where the mind-minions take hold. They say: “It’s too hard.” “Why is this happening?” “When is my turn? But, I choose to let my dream live using this: Keep Your Dream Alive Formula: 1) Re-ignite Your Dream~ Watch your mindmovie ~ mine gets me every time. 2) Rediscover Your Belief ~it’s there deeply rooted in your soul. I douse a question about my dream and always receive a powerful response from my pendulum!

6) Embrace the Journey ~ The destination is not the reward. Each and every day you are on the journey of the dream~ find that piece, be ‘ in-joy’ of it and offer gratitude for having it. This is your reward. The next time the struggle seems too difficult. Try this formula and see how you will be easily reinspired to touch all the people you are meant to touch! ALLOWING YOUR DREAMS TO COME TRUE I relocated from Atlanta to Richmond, created a much-needed sense of community and began to discover my life purpose. I enrolling in a coaching program, and had what seemed to me a flawless plan: finish my education, keep the day job, and invest the next three years becoming financially solvent. The Universe had another plan. Two days after finalizing my certification, I was fired from that cushy sales job and my three-year plan went up in flames.

“Dare to live the life you have dreamed for yourself.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson When my Midlife Re-creation began, I had what seemed to be an idyllic life. Great job, healthy income, and a robust T&E. I distinguished myself as a salesperson by creating “experiences” so we didn’t just eat in trendy restaurants, we took hot air balloon excursions, set sail on sunset cruises, flew above glacial lakes in a tiny seaplane, and spent countless hours at day spas. Then “it” happened. Restlessness. A longing in my soul. That nagging, irritating, constant tug. “Surely there’s more to life than selling ads.” When my mother became critically ill, I chose to leave my job and be present for her and my dad as she made her transition. Sitting, waiting, listening to the beep of the monitors I had a lot of time on my hands. For thinking, soul-searching, dreaming. And, as Emerson so eloquently stated, I decided to dare to live the life I had dreamed.

Decision time. Another sales job or go for it? I decided to feel the fear and do it anyway. What seemed daunting on that fateful day has become an almost effortless reality. A successful Leadership Development coaching practice, teaching, speaking, mentoring. And as if that isn’t enough to manifest unbridled joy, I was signed by Modelogic [Wilhelmina] as a lifestyle model and actor … a hobby I loved in my 20’s but was out of the question for someone who traveled 85% of the time. Motivation One of the easiest ways to clarify your passion is to think about what you enjoyed when you were eight years old. Me? I was The Teacher who gathered up the neighborhood kids in the afternoon to play “school.” Or to create and stage plays. Imagine that.

YOU MUSTN’T BE AFRAID TO DREAM A LITTLE BIGGER DARLING

“You may say that I’m a dreamer but I’m not the only one, I hope one day you can join us and the whole world will live as one”. John Lennon figured it out and I can’t quite remember when I came to the same conclusion. I’m a reflective thinker so when I discovered that I could turn my dreams into reality, I took a little trip down memory lane and realised I’d been doing it all my life. So have you!! When you were a kid you probably daydreamed the day away, however somewhere along the line you were discouraged from doing that and shown more practical way to live your life. Told to go here, do this, say that, sit down, shut up, listen, present yourself this way, this is how things are done around here, get in line, shape up or ship out or a whole host of other instructions. Soon your life resembled a nice safe familiar routine. Or perhaps you kept dreaming and discovered their powers. What happened to your dreams? Where did they go? Are they still in the dark recesses of your mind waiting to be unleashed, waiting for the right time or opportunity. In the past few years I

was able to turn a few of my big scary ass dreams into reality. One was my desire to become a coach, another was to launch a government backed community coaching program here in the UK, build a successful coaching business, to host massive multi speaker online events, running trainings and working with amazing dreamers aka as my clients who take daily action in changing the world. So how does one turn their dreams into reality? Turn your dream into goals, your goals into steps and your steps into tasks. “Dreams are in your head. Goals are written down.” The great thinker Earl Nightingale says “Most people do not think. Few will sit down, write their problem on a note-pad and deliberately begin to think. Every man-made thing came from the human mind. Take time to think every day of new ways in which the activities of that day can be improved upon. It’s not easy to think. Most of your ideas will be no good. Most importantly, your goals will be deeply imbedded in your mind. Your mind will work for ways to accomplish your goal. Spend one hour every day thinking about your goal and how to get there. Don’t waste time thinking about needless things. Never underestimate the miracle of your mind!” The power of writing down your dreams is spectacular, that’s how I got the opportunity to put together one of my big dream, A Community 33

Coaching Program. I remember it was late Dec a few years ago now and I wasn’t in a great place financially, we’d just moved into a new home and baby no2 had arrived, we were just getting by on one income. I wrote down I wanted to be a qualified coach by April, I didn’t have 2 new pence to rub together to pay for it. I broke the dream (community coaching project) down into goals (become a coach) into steps (Find a trainer) into tasks ( raise the funds to pay for the training, build a network of connections in local Government) So you can follow the same process, awaken your inner dreams. What I learned was to Trust that even with no money that I’d be fully trained by April. Through my research to find a trainer I can across a company who were local to me. You know when you’re not too sure about something but you keep revisiting the same website as you’re drawn to it. Remember I was brassic (broke) so I phoned them up to make enquires about when the next training would be held, she told me March. I asked the Price, she said £4,000 give or take a few quid. I hesitated, she said I could pay in instalments if I wanted to. Sold. It was early Jan then so I agreed to pay a deposit of £500 by the end of the month and then regular instalment until it was paid.

I got skills particularly ones that no one can refuse. Before having my son I’d worked in the beauty business and was a great holistic massage therapist. So I massaged for money, set up my own massage business, grew it very quickly through marketing on social media and before the month was over I had more than enough to pay the deposit and had myself a very handy income stream that worked around my family. How I got inside the local government is another story for another day. I used exactly the same process but this time it involved daydreaming out my bedroom window. “The trouble is, you think you have time.” Buddha Mary Joyce AKA ResourcesQueen helps Purpose led Entrepreneurs automate the admin in their business to save Time, Energy and Money using proven resources so they focus on serving and doing what they LOVE. Grab her Free Toolkit of the Top 50 Business Building Resources It’s time to get the right systems and team in place to setup your business to run without you http://resourcesqueen.com

Ok that was the Step part achieved now I just had to do the tasks. This was when the ResourcesQueen first started making an appearance in my psyche. I had to get resourceful and raise me some money.

LET YOURSELF DREAM IN UNLIMITED WAYS

I’ve always been a dreamer. When I was young I dreamed not only in my sleep, but on the bus, in classes, even while walking. It felt great to live in this dreamy life. As I grew older my dreams often came as a kind of vision. Yet it wasn’t until I took action to make my dreams come true that I was truly living my dreams. I urge you, as a business owner, not to restrict your dreams. You need to be able to visualize your dream business, and truly believe in it while you’re developing it. If you catch yourself thinking, “That would be nice, but it’s too much to ask,” stop! Steve Jobs and the Wright brothers were dreamers, too. I’m not only a dreamer, but a go-getter, and have made many of my dreams come true. When I lived in Taiwan I dreamed of becoming a potter, and seven years after receiving my MBA degree in America I opened my own pottery studio. While in the corporate world I dreamed of becoming a senior accounting manager, and it happened. Last year I dreamed of teaching money

coaching in Taiwan, and now have an invitation to teach two workshops there in May. Dare to dream! Here are some of my tips: Set dreams, not goals. Put your dreams on a vision board and review it daily. Commit to your dreams. If you want it badly enough, you will get it. Yu-Fen Chang-Pett, founder of Money Wisdom Empowerment, is a business financial coach and consultant, and money coach. JUDITH A. MANRIQUEZ

not have the finesse for speaking politic. It’s direct and to the point for me. So I went looking for my calling working in other places only to learn that I needed much more freedom for creativity, good deeds and human value than formal, traditional workplaces allowed.

Each month we’ll happily highlight one of our fabulous coaches here... We pick randomly and for no other reason than we know personally that these Coaches are doing amazing work in the world and deserve every inch of space we can spare! I never imagined I would be here; teaching, guiding, coaching and consulting on the Spiritual side of business. I graduated from my liberal arts college with a business degree right in the midst of an economic recession. After learning quickly that the work that I could find was not my dream, I assessed my gifts and talents and headed to grad school hoping to change the world as a city manager. I reasoned that I could see what needed fixing and was quite good at taking on the responsibility of doing the fixing. With my masters degree in public affairs, I settled at the mayor’s office and learned that I do

It seems almost natural that the next step was self-employment. I joined with my husband and a partner and we started a graphic design and marketing company in the late ’90s. We were all bound and determined to create a workplace that valued people, encouraged creativity, supported flexibility and rewarded hard work. We did. We also rode the technology bubble and bust, worked with every size and kind of company you can imagine, built brands and campaigns on- and off-line, rode another two recessions. All while having 3 kids. And around 2007, my Soul had started whispering that marketing wasn’t really my calling. While I was good at running a business and helping other businesses be successful, it was time to start looking inward for more direction rather than relying on my mind. Slowly and inexplicably business started to decline. Clients trickled in only enough to barely make ends meet. It opened up a lot of time. It forced a lot of personal exploration of my inner motivation, my ego control and the ‘should’ that ran my life. I wrestled with re-writing my personal rulebook for work 37

and business. And through it all I continued working for myself, but only with people for whom it was sheer pleasure to be with. Only for the joy of the moment.

their values and gifts – regardless of how many business rules have to be broken. To Learn More About Judith A. Manriquez, visit her site at www.solelymanriquez.com

My ‘dark night of the Soul’ lasted years – maybe 5, maybe 12. It depends on how I choose to count. As much as I wished it were different, I learned you can’t set a timeline or give deadlines for your Soul’s journey. But here’s what I learned about myself. My work with clients, while marketing focused, didn’t just help their business but it transformed their lives. For a long time I felt unusual because I didn’t have a model to fit into. They don’t teach you in business school that business is personally transformational. I also learned I’m highly empathic and intuitive. Again, traditional business doesn’t know what to do with these senses, so it often makes them wrong. But they made, and continue to make, my work so ‘right.’ As a result, I’ve created my own models and I teach my clients how to have successful businesses on their terms and in ways that honor
