While safe and sane fireworks are allowed in the City of Colton, any and all fireworks that shoot into the sky are illegal and subject to thousands of dollars in fines.

“We’re encouraging the community to come and visit our TNT Fireworks booth because we’re also raising money for our scholarship program. I’m also excited to announce a 10 percent hero discount for military, fire and law enforcement professionals, along with the same discount for Colton city employees and all of our chamber members,” said

t the council meeting on June 21st, Council Member Dr. G presented the “Business Focus” Recognition Award to Mr. David Hasan in absentia, owner of Frank’s Market.

This well-known establishment has been at the corner of S. La Cadena Drive and N Street for a long time, back to 1984; when former Mayor Frank Gonzales purchased the business and called it Frank’s Market and Liquor.

“There is definitely some history to this establishment,” commented Pat Martinez, a life-long Colton resident. Over the last four years, the business has been under the ownership of Mr. Hasan. Frank’s Market, cont. on next pg.
