IDENTIFY SOLAR PROBLEMS THERMALLY

FLIR thermal camera helps to: • Prevent failure before it happens ens • Increase revenue ity of solar panels • Increase lifetime & functionality

The FLIR T640 thermal imaging camera is the perfect tool for solar panel inspections.

Quality assurance and failure-free operation of the solar panels is a prerequisite for efficient power generation, long life, and a high return on the investment. To ensure this failure free operation, FLIR offers a fast, simple and reliable method to evaluate a solar panel’s performance during the production process and after the panel installation. FLIR thermal imaging cameras help scanning solar panels during normal operation and detect anomalies quickly within a short time frame.

With thermal imaging complete panels can be inspected in one view. Anomalies in the solar panels clearly show up in these thermal images

Em(power)ing women in Energy The Power Sector in India is witnessing an uptick with more women getting involved within the energy sector—an industry long dominated by men. Today women represent just 16 percent of board members in the top 200 power utilities, and few women have access to the sort of education and support systems that would allow them to pursue careers in energy. The number of women in the industry may be small, but it is growing, and they have a great track record across the industry.

We are keen on improving RE portfolio and achieving RE targets: Mr G Raghuma Reddy

A Model for Evaluating Different Communication Technologies for AMI

A journey towards intrastate DSM (In the era of RE integration to the grid)

This paper presents and compares a number of communication technologies available for Smart Metering deployments in India. It is essential to adapt a communication system which suits to local characteristics : residential area density , infrastructural builds – high rise apartments , basement and geographical terrain – hiils, IRUHVW LQ RUGHU WR FRQVWUXFW D ÀW WR purpose communication network.

In 2014, India announced plans to quadruple Renewable Energy (RE) to 175 GW by 2022, an ambitious target that required an annual growth (CAGR) of over 25 percent. Rapid growth in renewables poses challenges for grid operations and has various implications on the ÀQDQFHV RI GLVWULEXWLRQ FRPSDQLHV (Discoms) and power generating companies, especially traditional thermal power plants.
