RSPCA Million Paws Walk Fresh Air, Fundraising and Fido

Grab your leash, your pet and your favourite walking shoes and join the pitter-patter of the ‘million’ padded feet participating in the RSPCA’s largest fundraising event, the RSPCA Million Paws Walk, this Sunday May 20th. Anyone can join in, even without a pet, and various socialised animals are welcome, not just dogs! After years of increasing enthusiasm since its 1994 inception in Queensland, the Walk has now spread to a considerable 18 locations around Victoria, taking in everywhere from Albert Park to Warrnambool, not to mention scores of other places around the nation. Rain, hail or shine the event is destined to go ahead, and those who participate will have plenty of entertainment to enjoy, along with displays, stalls, activities and giveaways. With funds from entry fees and merchandise sales supporting the RSPCA’s efforts to operate animal shelters, where over 144,000 animals find themselves annually, as well as inspectorate services and community education on animal welfare, there’s no better reason to head out with your pet, and your family, to enjoy a great day with scores of other animal lovers.
