Company I A dmire A company that I really admire and feel strongly about would be DetroitBorg. DetroitBorg is a tech review company that is based out of Detroit Michigan that primarily makes tech review videos for YouTube and other online video hubs. DetroitBorg is run and created by Michael Kukielka. DetroitBorg generates its income from being a YouTube partner and monetizing their videos.

Along with that, he also generates extra income from video sponsors. The tech review videos primarily consist of mobile devices such as tablets and phones running both Android and iOS operating systems.

The biggest reason for my admiring this company is because the person who created it is able to survive off of the income he generates in the deteriorated Detroit economy.

Another reason I admire this company is because YouTube monetizing is a difficult way to

generate income and cannot be done without a strong following and loyal viewers.

He also could not have done it without having the skills and assets to do so which were obtained in his videos for many years prior and through education and passion.

I can relate to DetroitBorg, as a company because this is something I would really likes to do. DetroitBorg is the ideal model of what I would like to do for tech Review Company.

What they do has been executed to the last detail and seems like a lot of planning goes into it. I also can relate because presenting and showcasing something I am passionate about is nothing short of a dream that I have.

I am passionate about music, tech, and my future and how I’ll get there, if I could present any of those things to the public and get paid to do it I would be happy doing it.

Person I A dmire A person that I really admire and look up to is my father. His name is Robert Clayton Vankoughnett. He is from Kingston, Ontario and he is currently a full-time electronic engineer and has been for roughly 25 years at Lamontagne Geophysics Ltd. All while working at his full-time job he has been able to tackle many business ventures in the years. He has started many small businesses and made them successful. Some of the businesses include, a Swish maintenance cleaning supply store, Sydenham’s arcade, a Martial arts club, Gananaque Bulk Foods, and his most recent venture a self serve Laundromat.

I admire my father not just because he has been great; to me and my family for my entire life, but because he has been able to do so while working 40 plus hours a week he has been able to take on these business ventures.

For anyone this wouldn’t be easy and my father has made it seem like he was able to do it in stride. The thing I admire the most is that when he thought of an idea, he never thought that it wasn’t possible and he wasn’t afraid to take it on.

I can relate to him is because after obtaining a career that I could do for the rest of my life and gain more experience, I would like open my own business whether is be clothing retail or something relating to music. Growing up with my dad I was able to experience what it was like to start and run a business first hand. I can also relate because I would like to have a family of my own and be able to provide for them all while working full time. Because of him I think that is a great possibility for me.
