Summer in Kingston

Having decided to stay in Kingston for the summer rather than moving back home, I met a lot of new

Puppies!

Nothing can cheer you up like a couple cute puppies. My roommates and I instantly fell in love with them and had to take them home with us. My dog, Eeyore (on the right), has become one of my best buds.

friends and built stronger bonds with people I lived with. Summer 2014 for me involved minimal work and maximum partying. From downtown clubbing, to rooftop chilling, my summer was always full of excitement. Any sunny day called for throwing up the ladder, cracking a cold one and getting a tan on regardless of what day of the week it was. Some people think this sort of lifestyle might be counterproductive to the broke life most of us students seem to be living, but I think having a good

Music!

Writing and playing music has always been a passion of mine. Throughout this summer I played a few shows in Kingston and Ottawa. I got the chance to play alongside some cool bands that I like and met a lot of great new people.

time is more valuable than money at this age. My summer was full of fun and no regrets and I would do it all over again, which I probably will in 2015.

Family!

Staying in Kingston instead of moving back to Ottawa, I didn’t get to spend as much time with my family as I would have liked. However, my family visited me quite often and I visited Ottawa a few times which was good enough for me.
