Our dedicated team can arrange delicious catering as well as bespoke itineraries and agendas, with activities ranging from sea safaris around the Stacks of Duncansby, and guided walks to clay pigeon shooting and whisky tasting. On-site there are up to 84 bedrooms, made up of 20 eco-friendly three-bedroom lodge-style residences and 17 apartments within the Inn at John O’Groats, which was formerly the iconic John O’Groats Hotel, built in 1875. The self-catering lodges boast floor-to-ceiling windows, premium furnishings and wood burning fires and the build design features sustainable locally sourced materials such as Caithness stone, Scottish Larch timber and sedum roofs. The Inn at John O’Groats contains bespoke self-catering apartments with 1, 2 or 4 bedrooms, each offering its own individual character, as well as a stunning communal libraries. The on-site Storehouse adds another dimension to this fantastic site, offering delicious dishes and Starbucks coffee, set against spectacular views of the Pentland Firth.
GETTING HERE Set in the heart of some of Scotland’s most magnificent coastline, John O’Groats by Together Travel is 15 minutes’ drive from Wick Airport with good connections from both Edinburgh and Inverness international airports with Flybe. Car hire is available from Inverness and Wick Airports and a 2.5 hour drive through some amazing coastal scenery from Inverness. We provide complimentary parking for all guests, and we are also 20 minutes from the main A9 trunk road. Wick Railway station is also 20 minutes away with good connections from Inverness daily.
