brand standards

overall design principles All units and developments will incorporate visually appealing architecture, design and interiors to enhance the appeal to the Together Travel target market; high spending guests, families, groups and couples. Sustainability is at the core of all design and development. Site masterplanning and unit design is governed by the need to deliver high quality, authen?c guest experiences that connect guests with nature and create memories. The completed unit will be of a standard to be operated within the 4 and 5 star self-‐catering market and designed to aDract high spending families, couples and groups of guests.

exterior design principles VIEWS The loca?on and design of the units seek to maximise views and vistas whilst at the same ?me affording guests the privacy required. Views will create the effect of bringing the outside, inside and allow guests to get the full experience of their surroundings even when they are indoors. Views should be protected and not obstructed by features or landscaping. LOCAL VERNACULAR The design of the units should not be at odds with the local style and character of exis?ng buildings and surroundings. Innova?ve and modern design is encouraged but inspira?on should be drawn from the local area and proper?es should have a strong sense of place within a site. SUSTAINABILITY The majority of materials used are to be in keeping with the local vernacular and where feasible from sustainable sources. Sustainability is one of the cornerstones of Together Travel and should be reflected in all aspects of a site. Designs seek to reduce nega?ve impacts on the environment and the health and comfort of users by crea?ng healthy, produc?ve environments. LANDSCAPE & ECOLOGICAL IMPACT The experience of nature is integral to the Together Travel getaway and should not be disturbed by the opera?on of the proper?es. External ligh?ng is kept to a minimum and at a low level to reduce light pollu?on and impact on the wildlife and neighbouring residences. Together Travel use natural, sustainable materials that work with the local vernacular and landscape character and do not work at odds with the surroundings. Altera?ons and addi?ons to proper?es will always consider ecological and landscape impact and effec?ve mi?ga?on.

exterior design principles DECKS & GARDEN AREAS Decks and garden areas are kept simple and uncluDered and the landscape kept as natural as possible to blend into the surroundings and give guests an authen?c experience of the site. Sea?ng and outdoor dining areas are provided for guests for them to enjoy an uninterrupted, natural view. Together Travel recommends that only sea?ng and storage are featured to the exterior of a property. LIGHTING Ligh?ng is generally for wayfinding purposes only with low voltage and mo?on sensor features used wherever feasible. Its is direc?onal, low level and prac?cal and light installa?ons are not used as an aesthe?c outside of the proper?es in order to conserve biodiversity, minimise pollu?on and respect neighbouring residences. NOISE POLLUTION The natural sound of enjoyment from guests is welcome however it is important that amplified music is kept within the proper?es at all ?mes and respect for the local neighbours is maintained. ALTERATIONS Altera?ons to the exterior of the property must be approved by Together Travel to ensure brand standards are maintained and planning condi?ons imposed on the site are being adhered to.

interior design principles SUSTAINABLE PRINCIPLES In keeping with the sustainable principles, Together Travel designed proper?es will look to use Bri?sh designed and manufactured high quality goods as much as possible and wherever feasible. This will typically incorporate working with up and coming Bri?sh and award winning furniture designers, installing key pieces of unique furniture and a palate of local and regional materials, fabrics and manufacturers wherever feasible. Some examples of Bri?sh Designers and manufacturers that have been u?lised to date are: Naughtone, ANTA, Another Country, Po]nger & Cole, Anorak, and Harris Tweed. VARIETY A variety of interior design styles and products will be incorporated within the whole of the site in order to maximise variety, increase marketability, create points of difference and increase overall appeal to target markets. GUEST EXPERIENCE The design of the interior will be heavily influenced by the guest experience and opera?onal prac?cality, combining visually appealing features with durable, guest friendly material and products. Everything within a property will be convenient and comfortable with plenty of walking and movement space. Families are Together Travel’s target market so all age groups and levels of accessibility will be considered ensuring all guest have the same enjoyable experience without limita?on. PRACTICALITY & DURABILITY Prac?cality and durability are key to all interior items without compromising on design or quality. Products should be robust, easy to clean, rela?vely east to move around and withstand constant use. Design items should be suitable for children and pets in terms of durability and health and safety.

interior design principles LAYOUT • The layout of each room is carefully considered to maximise views, accessibility and enhance design features. A guest’s freedom of movement and ability to easily interact with the space and with other guests is key to each strategic layout. Sea?ng will comfortably accommodate the maximum number of guests in a property, posi?oned at a good angle to the fireplace, television and with good visual access to views.

Walkways and circula?on spaces will be unobstructed so guests can pass through the property without hindrance, par?cularly guests with mobility issues.

Surfaces, counter tops and, cupboard tops will be kept mostly clear for a clean and ?dy finish which is more opera?onally manageable.

Guests will be provided with storage space throughout the property for personal items and this space should not be restricted.

furniture & soft furnishings Furniture and furnishings will be stylish and high quality, exuding comfort but with durable, commercial grade materials which are hardwearing and easy to clean.

Materials and colour palates of furnishings will be in keeping with the décor and well coordinated to ensure the iden?ty of the property is retained in line with the Together Travel brand. • The proper?es are designed to appeal to a mass market and individual touches should work in harmony with this, avoiding too much devia?on from the original style.

Furniture items and sob furnishings are carefully selected to comfortably fit the space without being cluDered or overcrowded so the space can be enjoyed and easily managed. Over-‐furnishing should be avoided as this can detract from the design and create opera?onal/housekeeping hazards.

The proper?es feature commissioned artwork that are intended to reflect the loca?on and its landscape, themes or history and promote a sense of iden?ty.

Ligh?ng will be both prac?cal and offer and sense of atmosphere but will be kept at a reasonable level to reduce any nega?ve impact in the hours of darkness.

Together Travel recommends that sofas/armchairs and cushions are replaced or reupholstered when wear and tear impacts the overall quality of the property and guest experience. In order to maintain the high quality of the residences and remain compe??ve in the market, Together Travel will instruct a complete refurbishment of its proper?es every eight to ten years and all proper?es are expected to be brought up to the same standard. •
