DNA Framework and engagement Our DNA customer care strategy is at the heart of what makes us different. Imtech Inviron DNA was developed as a means to fully understand each individual customer and their expectations in terms of the service we provide. We use the framework as a platform to engage and promote ‘can- do’ behaviour within our operational teams and a passion for service delivery. This is fundamental to our success as a forum for feedback and communication. It helps us continuously explore and share understanding of customer expectation with our teams and to introduce change in order to meet shifting customer requirements. Our culture is based on working in a collaborative and co-operative manner with both our clients and our frontline teams and the framework helps us to turn intent into reality.

DNA console and management information Our proprietary DNA Console suite of web-based and mobile applications are recognised as industry-leading tools that support collaboration, improve transactional processing and provide intelligent management information and business intelligence to drive good decision making. We make many of the online tools within DNA Console available to our customers without charge, as part of the delivery of our service. This represents great value for customers seeking control and/or visibility of their facilities services. We also share our DNA Console tools with other service providers we work alongside, supporting collaborative and consistent delivery to customers.

‘DNA gives us a live status report for both planned and reactive tasks. Imtech Inviron have provided an open book analysis of costs and demonstrated a significant saving.’

People Our people are the cornerstone of our business. The success of every contract is determined by the team involved. From the service desk to on-site engineers and contract managers, our people are passionate about their work. We encourage them to exceed their goals and develop their capabilities in a supportive and progressive way. As a result we have highly dedicated and skilled teams of individuals that give the company its vitality and 'can-do' attitude. Naturally, as an employer, we want to attract the best people in the industry, so we ensure our people have varied and exciting opportunities to develop within our business. Continual recruitment and retention of highcalibre individuals at all levels will help us develop our organisation further on its' way to becoming the most respected sustainable technical services business in the UK and Ireland. Our aim is to ensure Imtech is a place where diversity of background is regarded as an asset for delivering value: with local people from the communities we are working in, with young people developing their career, and with people from different professional and cultural backgrounds.

TUPE Our experience and internal capability to manage the TUPE process brings significant benefit to both our clients and to the individuals involved. We are seen as a good company to work for. As a result we achieve high success rates with TUPE, ensuring continuity of customer and site knowledge. We have a caring approach to the transfer of personnel, with our management team being actively involved in the process of welcoming and integrating them into our business. In order to retain highly skilled people, we give employees at all levels the opportunity to develop their careers within our company and we are committed to internal promotion wherever possible. In December 2013, a major high street retailer appointed us as sole hard services provider. Upon exchange of contract we successfully transferred their entire team, from nearly 300 stores across the country, under TUPE into Imtech Inviron. The process took eight weeks to complete. 100% of the team who were eligible to transfer did so and, to date, we have a 92% retention rate.

'In the course of my career I have gone through the TUPE process several times. When Imtech Inviron took over this contract it was a breath of fresh air, right from the beginning I was treated as an individual. The company met each of us in person, explained everything, invited questions and everyone from service desk to management were really approachable and welcoming.' Leigh Goulding, Lead Engineer
