SHOP ZERO NOTTINGHAM SHOP ZERO HAS OPENED TO HELP NOTTINGHAM PEOPLE SHOP MORE SUSTAINABLY AND REDUCE THEIR IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT.
Shoppers are invited to bring their own containers for a great selection of store cupboard essentials like pasta, rice, cereals, pulses, nuts and seeds. All dry goods are sold unpackaged and in bulk so that people can buy as little or as much as they want.
Open Thursday to Sunday in the front shop at Malt Cross at 16 St James’ St, the store is just a stone’s throw from the Market Square in the centre of Nottingham.
Sarah, the shop Founder, set-up the store in response to growing concerns about the amount of waste we create. People can reduce their plastic footprint by selecting from a carefully chosen range of reusable items such as produce bags, personal care items like solid shampoo and bamboo toothbrushes, water bottles, cups, metal straws and locally-made wax food wraps.

UTAH IN THE USA OFFERS UP AMAZING SCENERY THROUGHOUT THE WHOLE OF THE STATE AND IS HOME TO FIVE NATIONAL PARKS (ZION, BRYCE CANYON, CAPITOL REEF, ARCHES AND CANYONLANDS) AS WELL AS THE ICONIC MONUMENT VALLEY.
It is easy to get around Utah and the neighbouring states of Nevada and Arizona making it the perfect place to hit the open road, travelling either by car or motorhome. Getting there is also straightforward with direct flights from the UK to Salt Lake City as well as Las Vegas. A great itinerary would be to head to Las Vegas, spend a few days there before exploring all that Utah has to offer. Zion National Park is a short drive away and here you will encounter red rock cliffs, tree lined valleys and some of the best hiking trails in the US. The town of Springdale is the gateway to Zion National Park and there are numerous great places to stay with the town also a great place to sample great food from the many eateries there. Heading further away from Las Vegas and you will
reach Bryce Canyon National Park which offers spectacular views of the park’s distinctive red pillars known as hoodoos, a truly unique site. Capitol Reef National Park is less visited than the other parks in Utah and due to its size, you can feel like you are the only ones there! Here you will come across spectacular coloured cliffs, hidden arches, massive domes and deep canyons. As you walk along one of the many hiking trails it can feel like you are on another planet altogether. As you continue east you reach Moab, a small town with a lot of character and from here you can take part in plenty of activities such as horse riding, mountain biking, hot air ballooning and 4x4 adventures. From Moab accessing both Arches and Canyonlands is easy, and each park has its own personality. Arches is a land of weathered sandstone rock formations including many arches whereas Canyonlands is vast expanse of deep canyons and towering cliffs that reach as far as the eye can see. At this part of your adventure you can begin your journey back to Las Vegas, completing a circular route back there via more amazing places.

Shed those winter blues and transform your outdoor space into a fresh and revitalised space, by thinking GREEN! Spring is the perfect time to think about your outdoor furniture too.
