What is Technology? Technology combines practical innovation and creativity to move society toward its goals. As a College of Technology student, you will manage progress! You’ll work with the computers, transportation, automation, electronics, and textiles that allow people to express themselves while efficiently going about their everyday lives. You will produce and perfect the products and processes that impact everyone. You will turn dreams into reality!

Investigate the World While other students look at slides of fashions, you’ll create them! While others read textbooks on aviation, you’ll soar in the sky several times a week! Though we employ a variety of instructional methods, we believe that our students learn best by doing. Starting in your freshman year, you will be exposed to the same experiences you will have in the workforce. You’ll learn practical skills that professionals in your field use daily. Netwo Student Organizations Technology students do more than just attend class while on campus! You will have the opportunity to join more than a dozen student professional organizations and numerous student groups like the American Society of Mechanical Engineers, Team Sycamore Racing, and Females in Technology. At Indiana State, you will be encouraged to volunteer in offcampus activities. You can do your part to make the University, the city of Terre Haute, and the region a great place to live and study.

Perfo Facilities College of Technology laboratories and classrooms make it unnecessary for you to travel far to learn. Our learning spaces re-create the professional environments you will encounter in the workplace. The Technology Building and John T. Myers Technology Center offer plenty of unique spaces for you to learn and collaborate with your peers.
