BEGINNING - Perfect for those artists ready to begin their art journey or those who want a refresher on the basics. Students will learn key studio safety, skills and techniques and get acquainted with the tools and terms associated with the medium. INTERMEDIATE - Great for those artists who are already familiar with the basics. Students will learn next-level skills and techniques while building on the tools and terms learned in beginning level classes. ADVANCED - For artists with working knowledge of a medium, with the necessary skills and techniques to generate artwork. Students will further develop more complex skills to advance and perfect their techniques. ALL LEVELS - These classes are unique opportunities for beginning through advancedlevel students. FRIDAY GARDEN TRELLIS Give some love to your garden this summer by welding your very own garden trellis! You will learn the basics of welding and walk away with a structure fit to support even the largest of tomatoes!

PRINTING WITH COPPER

With just wood scraps and a few simple tools, you can build and finish your very own handmade cutting board to use daily or pass down to future generations of onion choppers in your family!

Acid and ink come together with fine lines and intricate details to create wonderful artwork. Learn the basics behind the traditional printmaking technique of copper etching and walk away with a completed print!

RAKU CERAMICS Raku is a traditional Japanese firing method that uses fire and air to create dazzling effects on clay pieces. In two hours, you can experience all the stages of Raku firing, reduction, and cooling. We provide the pottery, you make it art!

FUSED GLASS SUNCATCHERS TWISTED WIRE BRACELET Twisting wire is a simple yet amazing process that creates countless beautiful patterns. Learn the basics while making your own fabulous and intricate bracelet.

BEER FLIGHT

Clay has a rich history of being used as adornments in cultures all over the world. Now it’s your turn! Learn how to create wearable art out of clay. Leave class with basic jewelry assemblage knowledge and a deeper appreciation for wearable art.

In the amount of time it’d take to drink a couple pints, you’ll be able to create a beer flight tray for all your favorite beers to comfortably sit in! Continue the creativity after class and test your creation at Sun King Brewery with gift cards that will be provided to each student 21 and older.

GLASS BIRD ENAMELING

The early bird may get the worm, but this glass bird will get all the compliments! Learn how to make a feathered friend sculpture out of molten glass! This introductory glass class will teach you the basics of working creatively in the hot shop.

Learn the basics of Sgraffito enameling! Play with color and pattern as you learn how to apply layers of opaque enamel and scratch into the powdered glass to reveal eye catching graphic contrasts.
