ONLINE CLASSES TUESDAY HAND BUILDING AT HOME - ONLINE Use the oldest tools known to humans - your hands - to create vessels, art objects and sculptures! Get handy with the timeless techniques - pinching, coiling and slab building - and enjoy time creating with clay!The Indianapolis Art Center is excited to coordinate with you the firing and glazing of your work! Your instructor will work with you to coordinate firing your work, all of which will be done with limited person-to-person contact. WHEEL THROWING 2 You know what they say, practice makes perfect! By trying new techniques in decorating and glazing while still leaving ample time to improve your cylinders, bowls, and mugs, this class is the perfect place to build upon the basics of wheel throwing.
Looking to get comfortable behind a potter’s wheel or continue to build your wheel throwing skills? This class will show you the ropes! Learn the basics behind this classic pottery technique while designing and decorating your very own bowls, mugs, and vases.

Get your hands dirty on the potter’s wheel and have fun learning at your own pace! In this class, you’ll get to develop your own style while crafting bowls, mugs, and vases. Already have some wheel-throwing experience? Try your hand at more complex pieces like teapots, pitchers, or even plates!
WHEEL THROWING 1 Learn the basics of wheel throwing in a warm and welcoming classroom environment! While this class is geared toward those with little or no prior experience, all skill levels are welcome to explore the fundamentals with us. From creating bowls and mugs to decorating and glazing, this class is everything you need to get started on your wheel throwing journey!
